My uncle took me here for 2 days and it was really awesome. This place has a huge lake where you can fish, hang out, eat and ride boats and water crafts. They do have plenty of fish and this place is usually not crowded at all. We slept in one of the pool houses which was really cool overall. It comes with a tv, fridge, freezer, bedroom, bathroom with shower, and seating area. The only problem I had with it was the bathroom stench, it was really bad, I had to get out as soon as possible because the smell was just so bad, and I kept banging my head on the tiny upstairs bed where I slept. The cafe there was average, they have burgers, pasta, fish and chips and other good meals just to fill you up for the day. I also really liked the gift shop/convenience store they had. It had everything I needed to get me through both days for sure. Some things are a little expensive but I would say it's worth it. The staff was incredible, really nice and helpful except for two ladies that helped us with our room, they did not feel like they knew much about certain questions and were always relying on other staff, but overall really good. They also have yachts and other large boats that are about $1,000 a day which is a bit over the budget in my opinion but still really nice, especially for large families. I will definitely come back to this awesome place that I never knew was even in New Mexico, hopefully this place gets more recognition. Thank you, Navajo Lake Marina...

You have to wait until all the pontoons are out or in and refueled before you can refuel. If you're not dumping money into their rental program you are not their priority. It's 2026 why do I need to wait for a teenager to "turn on" the pump, for me to refuel a boat myself, then walk into the office to pay them? Absolutly trash system.

Why didn't this happen earlier? I spoke to the cabin renter and he said he had no problem with the tent there. The RV patrol woman said he did,(BTW he was my cousin...) and he said no such thing... She was adamant about me moving it and wanted a confrontation which I wasn't gonna give her. I pointed out on the map they had given me that I put my tent where it was pictured and she said the map was wrong! I ended up moving my tent and she left angry and never showed her face for the remainder of my stay. She was so rude in front of my family and guests and other RV residents. No one could believe she made such a big deal over the tent location. Needless to say I will never stay here again, if they are gonna make up rules at their convenience!
