Butte, Montana: this Bar is on the corner of Ohio Street & East Mercury Street . It's almost at the edge of the BERKELEY PIT. I dare you order a Sarsaparilla there!

    Always party at Cinz!

The best bar ambiance in Denison. The food is always presented beautifully. The bartender took good care of us.

The Guinness is always poured to perfection, complete with impressive beer art. The fish and chips remain my go-to, but I tried the pub burger today and it was spot on--perfectly cooked and served on a pretzel bun that really sets it apart. The entire staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. If you're looking for an authentic Irish pub vibe, it's tough to find a place that does it better.

While this restaurant came highly recommended by everyone we asked, I hesitated at first because it wasn't a historic building. It seems most if not all historical restaurants are long gone. Ultimately, we decided to give it a try--and I am so glad we did! We shared the the shepherd's pie and bread pudding for dessert. We hesitated at first with the shepherds pie as it was not the typical recipe, this was made with lamb and topped with colcannon potatoes. I was pleasantly surprised when the kitchen thoughtfully split our plate for us. Because our friends weren't familiar with those potatoes, they settled on the fish instead, ordering the 2-piece and 3-piece cod dinners. They thought the fish was fantastic and the lamb shepherd's pie was absolutely delicious. The bread pudding was excellent too. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and we highly recommend stopping in!

First, COVID times when I visited, so maybe the bar is different than normal times. I literally…read morebelieve the owner is living in the bar. That is not a judgment. COVID sucks. I loved this place. Walked in, and it was only the owner and his friend. I think they were surprised to have someone in the bar they had never seen before, but they quickly cleaned up the bar top, smiled, and grabbed us some beers. Both guys were super friendly, and I loved hearing about the history of the bar and Butte. Walk under the welcoming hanging sing, through the front door, and the bar is immediately left. There was a couch, jukebox, and musical instruments on the right. No tables or anything like that, but again maybe COVID. The Dollar reminds me of a place where most activity happens at the bar anyway. The bar has an old school wooden tap with a medium rail. Below there is a box footrest that sits under the round padded bar stools. The highlight of the bar, though, is the beautiful back bar. It has a large arch and intricate woodwork. A little messy right now, but the bottle shelves still stand out with the red lighting. Opposite the bar, old photos and artwork are displayed against the brick wall. The floor is a little torn up, but I'm not there for the floor; I'm there for the conversation and beer. I'm not sure I'll ever have a reason to return to Butte, but I hope the Silver Dollar Saloon is still serving if I do.

Love this bar. Super dreamy experience. And when Frankie answered the land line.... I was hooked.read more
