He arrived on time, did what needed to be done with minimal disruption, and left the job site neat and orderly. This is the experience I had with Premier Refinishing. I deliberately waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to be sure that the refinishing did what I hoped it would do...make my outdated bathroom look more modern. I also wanted to ensure that the paint stuck to the tiles without bubbling or peeling. I'm pleased to say that Sal and his crew exceeded my expectations. Sal provided an accurate quote, his crew arrived on time each day, took great care to maintain a clean work site, and were personable and efficient. When a minor issue arose, Sal showed up ON EASTER DAY to make sure he understood what needed to be corrected and had his team come to me the next business day. As it turns out, the fix was relatively simple. I highly recommend using Premier Finishing based on the professionalism with which they executed the job.

Cary said they guarantee their work for 10 years. He came on time on the scheduled date - (the only positive comment here...that's the 1 star is for). However, after he finished the job I noticed that the old grout was not removed, the walls of the shower was NOT done at all, there were apparently large parts of the tiles just left with the old grout, and No sealant was put (contrary to what he said over the phone)! When I asked why? He said the quote given is not for such a job (really???) He charged me $325 in CASH - which I paid, and literally after a week or so after my tenant started to use the shower, guess what: whatever materials/color he used started to crack & come out, leaving the shower tiles worse than it was before (SEE PICS below). When I called/texted him (more than 4 times over the course of 2 weeks) he never returned my calls/emails.... I asked for either the job RE-DONE or a refund be issued. NO response whatsoever to date. Very unprofessional - I never recommend this company to anyone!!

Most recently a basement overhaul to use the space as a social/entertaining area. As with earlier projects, we are totally pleased with all aspects of their work. They tiled the entire floor area, painted the walls and installed new lighting. They even installed a large wall TV. While I have no reason to doubt the negative reviews, that has never been our experience. I would not hesitate to contact them for projects in the future.

The finish on my floors were gone, there was a lot of wear all over and the previous owner's large Rottweiler also dug deep scratch grooves into the wood throughout the house. Mike from Craftmaster came by my house, measured the floor space, gave me an estimate and explained exactly what he would do. I had checked with a few other contractors but I thought the price Mike offered, his professionalism and what he offered was the best so I went with his firm. I'm really glad I did because his crew did a great job and even after a few years my floors still look great. One thing I really liked about them was that they were really decent and straightforward - they had found some areas of extra damage that the previous homeowner had hidden but Mike's crew didn't charge me for it. I had budgeted carefully for each project I needed done so I really appreciated it. I've since recommended Craftmaster to family and neighbors and highly recommend them for any refinishing or new installation of hardwood floors.

Disappointing. Upset. Garthwaite went to install bathroom faucet. Broke/snapped off valve (handle…read moreand stem). Said he'd come back... needed part to repair what he damaged. Came back. Installed faucet. Took my money. Never replaced/repaired valve. Requested 10 year water heater. Paid for 10 year. Gave me an 8 year!! Called/texted him for almost 2 months. Finally when filed with BBB, and he came to put valve handle on. (Almost 2 months later) Asked what about stem that was broken and that was crooked, he said he managed to push handle on. But I'm afraid to test it. Not a screw in handle like previous one (which he took, along with all my warranty paper work for new faucet). He claimed he was in rehab for some health issue...but that doesn't stop you from texting or leaving short messasge saying you will get back to me when you feel better. I also gave him option to refund me for faucet install and i could go to another plumber. I'm a senior, so money is very tight/limited ss income to afford another plumber to come in and start. But he didn't.

For the stairs, Luis sent a subcontractor who started working at 4pm and did a horrendous sloppy job. After an argument, Luis reluctantly agreed it was poorly done and tried to fix it. The stairs still look terrible. The driveway work was such poor quality. A complete lack of care and attention to detail as shown in the pictures. It seems everything is rushed to do as many jobs as possible, but the quality of the work cannot keep up. Within a week we had tire marks and indents in our driveway. Luis showed up and told me it was due to how we turned the wheel when pulling into our parking space. I disagreed and Luis told me that my Jeep Cherokee was a large vehicle and "when the twin towers came down it made a big hole in the ground". Absolutely floored that this man could say something like this. After this, he stopped returning calls and texts. Avoid at all costs.

We didn't haggle even one dime with him. Fast forward to a completed job-turns outs they missed a sprinkler head and installed the pavers right on top of it. As we turn it on, the ground is immediately soaked. We call him, he shows up right away. This is where it all goes downhill. He immediately says it's not him or his guys fault. It's somehow the sprinkler guys fault. (Luis's guys removed all of the rest sprinklers!) Says he'll take care of it, but he's gotta charge me to pay his guys. $350 to remove 6-7 pavers to fix a problem that was his fault! He eventually leaves after the arguing that is not his fault. Long story short- I had to pay someone else to come and complete the job.
