He had been going to Heuser Hearing for years but felt that business had gone down through the period he had been treated there. In his research Eastpoint Audiology got continual five star ratings. Making the first appointment was a breeze but he went in cautiously and did not want to make a commitment so he booked a consultation. We both attended the appointment and knew immediately this was a reliable business and the audiologist we were seeing was fantastic. She explained the different hearing aids available and what the strengths and weaknesses were of the different hearing aids. She was able to see how old his current hearing aids were and when his hearing was last tested by looking up something online. We discussed the change in insurance that was going to happen the first of the year and if the coverage was going to affect the price. The Audiologist was very patient and thorough and we knew this was the place to go. To make a long story short my husband had his hearing tested and chose the appropriate hearing aids to purchase. They were the updated version of what he had for years. In setting up the hearing aids the Audiologist was shocked at features he had that were never explained.The purchase was made and financing was offered for one year zero interest. Awesome people providing a wonderful service to the Kentuckiana community! They sent my hearing aids off to be completely renewed before the warranty expired. They reevaluated my hearing deficit and tuned them to my specific needs. The trip to the Conn office is over 70 miles, but the miles are minuscule compared to the fabulous care and delightful people just across the bridge from Louisville. It took a while to figure out what had changed so we patiently kept appointments while trying to identify our dissatisfaction with this business. First, the communication and ability of the front office staff deserves a one star. The staff has a snarky customer communication on even the easiest aspect of their job, namely sign in and scheduling appointments upon completion of the current visit. Additionally with no notice on one visit we were presented a bill that they wanted paid at the time. This was a first for us so my husband inquired what the bill was for. Neither front office person could tell us what the invoice was for. They did agree to let us mail a payment since we had no advance notice there would be a charge. As for the visit with the audiologist we began realizing the visits were used more for teaching future audiologists. When we first got started with Heuser Hearing we didn't realize they were a teaching Institute. The price doesn't reflect a savings because this.

This was the first time I felt like I'd been truly heard by a medical professional and she made me feel like I had hope and wasn't just someone looking for drugs. I wish insurance would cover it, but if you have the ability to finance it, I highly recommend going to The Couch. I've done both the in-person and Telehealth and both options were great. The rest of the office staff is very friendly, in regards to scheduling or talking to another nurse regarding medication. As a tip, they usually don't answer the phone right away but they're fairly quick with responding to messages.

This year I was prescribed a new medication and because of how hard it was to get into contact, and to schedule an appointment I would go one month with medication and then one or two months without it. Also making an appointment is very hard. It typically takes me about a week to even reach them or have them call me back. They also won't refill your prescriptions if you need to have a appointment but they do not call you or communicate to you that you need to have an appointment. I have also found the front desk people to be quite rude. However, there's been a new girl who's been answering the phone who has been lovely.

I did multiple tours overseas for the United States military which I have had so many reconstructive surgeries and also a work related incident that I fell over 30 feet and had to have yet another surgery I received a dismissal letter when I returned from out of state for work stating he's not going to help me and I am not a patient anymore I did not receive a phone call. I did not receive any type of text no email no verbal warning no written warning no counseling nothing I notified his office of my absence for work due to the severe weather like tornadoes, flooding that we had in the months of march and April I even spoke with him in person when I saw him at my last appointment passing in the hallway and lamborn replied, just notify the office and you will be fine I have spoke with other patients in the waiting room and they have missed upwards of 5 to 6 random drug appointments and still are patience I have talked to people that have failed multiple drug tests and still are patient He is still treating.
