It involved set design for multiple locations, many actors, product shots, voice-over, motion graphics, and much more. The project from the get-go was a logistical nightmare with a short execution window of under two months to map-out, script, casting, shooting, editing, and delivery of multiple assets for various formats. Another side note is I used to be on the same end like them, with a production house of my own, so I scrutinize way more than most since I know how it all works. Enter Beatt Productions. I had the pleasure of having worked with them in the past on other complex but smaller in scale productions, which they had beautifully executed. The reason I chose them time and time again is their ability to quickly take on a project and adapt to just about any scenario. In our case, having such a short production timeline would have deterred others but, Colin and his team didn't flinch. Items we thought were going to be a no-go, they were always willing to come with a solution rather than concerns. The only problem we had was my team and I not being able to keep up with their level of execution. Even then, they kept us on track, on schedule, and budget. We even changed direction on one of our scenes last minute, and they were more than accommodating. Pricing is also fair. They are in no way a cheap shop with a few pieces of gear type of operation. They cost a bit more, but they are still less expensive than most large production companies due to their small team. I can attest as I've put cost overvalue a few times and had to eat that in the long run. They've had to have them save me a few times. Overall, I'm pleased with their level of execution, quality, story, and attention to detail. I highly recommend!

We hired this cleaning company because we urgently needed our house cleaned for rental showings…read more They offered same-day availability, which was the main reason we chose them. They charged us $300 for a 1,509 sq ft house -- despite the fact that the home had brand-new blinds, brand-new flooring in all three bedrooms, and no refrigerator to clean. This was absolutely not a discounted or bargain price. Before hiring them, they specifically promised they would come back and address anything my realtor found unsatisfactory after the cleaning. Based on that promise, I paid them in full immediately after the service. A few days later, my realtor inspected the property and found the cleaning quality extremely poor. She provided them with a detailed list of areas that were still dirty. One toilet was so poorly cleaned that my realtor cleaned it herself. On another toilet, instead of properly scrubbing blue staining inside the toilet, they simply suggested replacing the whole toilet altogether. That alone tells you the level of effort they put into the job. The dishwasher was still dirty. Windows, baseboards, drawers, and other surfaces were visibly dirty. There were even cobwebs still hanging on the walls. When I contacted them to come back as promised, their attitude immediately changed. They were rude, dismissive, and kept delaying scheduling. I gave them my husband's number to coordinate a return visit, and they said the earliest they could come was Saturday (nearly a week later). Then on Saturday, they suddenly claimed they would not return unless someone was physically present at the house to inspect their work. This made absolutely no sense because they already knew the property was vacant and that we were remote landlords. They had completed the original cleaning using an access code with nobody present, so this was clearly just an excuse to avoid honoring their promise. After that, they stopped answering calls from both me and my husband entirely. The house was still dirty, and we ended up paying another cleaning company to redo the entire job properly. Unprofessional, dishonest, and extremely poor-quality work. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this company. Respond to the owner's response: you lied! (1) The toilet was totally cleanable. The second cleaner cleaned this toilet with no problem. It looks very clean now. But you even didn't try and simply asked me to buy a new toilet. What a moron. Another toilet shown in the picture showed how my realtor easily cleaned after you still left it dirty! (2) my husband said he didn't clearly agree to have someone come for you because your accent was strong and he couldn't clearly hear what you said. Simply not realistic for us to agree. When he called you, you also didn't tell him which day and time you could come back to clean the house either. Later when I called you to come back, I already explained to you why we couldn't have someone on the spot waiting for you because it was an empty house and we couldn't hire someone to wait for you there. You knew this already even before we let you clean our house at the beginning, because we gave you the house access code to come in and nobody was there! We told you our realtor would come a few days later to check and asked if you could come back to finish cleaning if she pointed out dirty places. You agreed which is why we gave you money to do it. Unfortunately we paid you in full on the same day you did the cleaning. So you can become a moron later. You simply didn't want to keep your own promise to come back to finish cleaning. You could simply say you would come back to finish cleaning what we pointed out and no more trips if my realtor found out more later. However you simply refused to answer our phone and disappeared! If you continue to lie in public here after causing us so much stress and financial loss by hiring a second cleaner, I will further seek related third party for help. I don't believe such a horribly bad company could lie like this in public.

He is not out to fix you, he is not out to show you something UH-MAY-ZING that only HE just discovered, any kind of bullsh** like that. He's just a guy who's been through stuff like all of us, but he offers a strong optimism and focus that I have not witnessed with other coaches or programs. Covid left my life in tatters and the bright side was probably that there was no way to go but up. However, up could mean many different things, and I wanted to get things right due to lost time and my general OCD tendencies. A close college friend introduced me to Dylan and away we went. I didn't feel lost, but I just didn't have good direction. Who was I after the pandemic? Who had I always been? A romantic breakup didn't help things - I needed a great coach, and that great coach became Dylan. Working with Dylan was empowering: I felt like I was showing up for myself. He never made me feel like he was doing me a favor; he never acted like an armed forces superior; he never got annoyed, angry or pushy - he just listened, reflected, and was patient in everything we did. He's plenty humorous too - we had great laughs about everything under the sun. He voices a lot of the negative phrases we tell ourselves in the deep crevices in our minds - because he's been there, not because he's Buddha - there's a difference. His modules are also fantastic - they are agnostic as to anything subjective such as religion or politics - they are simple, English-language modules that are focused on the self, the brain, and your mission in life. However, don't let this simplicity fool you: they reach deep inside you and extract what you've been wanting to extract: your values, your mission, and your purpose. They are not, nor do they promise to be one-stop fixes - I have been through the modules a few times - I always uncover something new. Dylan doesn't consider this module repetition as any kind of failure or shortcoming: in fact, he encourages it. We are always changing - why not use the same methods to uncover new information? I did, and it worked (and still works) every time. On a banal, but still necessary level, I know myself more after working with Dylan. I have more material for cover letters and interviews. I am more confident in what I say at networking functions. But you and I both know that it doesn't stop there, right? Right. I know what my place is in the world, and maybe, what I am meant to do. That's a gift that keeps on giving. I've been able to pay it forward (no no no, not by forwarding Dylan's materials!) by reflecting other people's values back to them and asking them good questions. We all help each other - and it works. Dylan's extended program of accountability and tracking is a godsend - I have made so much more progress as a result. I am not just a clearer and more focused individual after my work with Dylan; I am a better person overall.

I will continue to purchase tickets to the performing arts in Austin regardless of whether or not I actually enjoyed the play, however, because I feel that this (art) is what makes Austin what it is. That, and it keeps me from falling into the depths of Hell's modern day entertainment known as reality TV. The theatre is located in a GIGANTIC pink building in the "not-so-greater" part of Austin. You would never have known it existed if it weren't for the small sign in the window. The theatre shares their space connected to a bingo hall (which was 100% SMOKING indoors) and was all about the size of a mini grocery store inside. The waiting area was much like a Pinterest DIY project (but I loved it). The staff friendly. The theatre area - not so great. A variety of mismatched, folding metal chairs to sit on; no air circulation (cue the cigarette smoke from next door); and no stage. What can I really expect though for two tickets that costed only $15? The setting: Just a pile of dirt, shovels, enough shoes to keep the homeless satisfied for the next five years.... AND THE PERFORMERS GIVING IT THEIR ALL. Each cast member had a particular "something" about them that I really enjoyed. Noted especially in the main three: the Irish girl, the Native American, and the Black female. I'm unsure from the program hand-out who is who... but these were the ones that I took to the most. While the seating was a bit uncomfy, the atmosphere hot and smoky, and not knowing what the heck was going on for the first 20 minutes of the show (at least), I'd still come for another performance.

It was a great way to spend a Thursday night and the price was right. Free. The retro-vintage radio drama performance featured goat herders, ship captains, adultery, and much more! The event was sponsored by the Harry Ransom Center and performed by the Violet Crown Radio Players in the Jessen Auditorium on the UT campus. An Austin-based performance troupe, the VCRPs, recreate live radio experiences complete with vintage costumes and advertising. In reading the bios, every player has vast experience in the arts, on stage, writing, singing and acting. The Harry Ransom Center sponsors the VCRPs throughout the year. We plan to attend the July 10th performance of a 1950s radio show, "Dangerous Assignment". Check the Harry Ransom Center website for a schedule. Parking is sketchy but we found a park on 21st street. Texas Choral Consort

I have sung several times with Texas Choral Consort and I love it…read more I can sing a little bit (take voice lessons from time to time), can read music and count most of the time. You don't have to be a professional singer to join this group. It goes pretty fast, though so you either need to be fairly good at reading music or singing - or put in some time with the music on your own. But there are singers of all levels. There is a charge - but for the time you spend and what you get out of it - it is a pretty good deal. They have audition concerts and non-audition concerts - so all can participate. Go to one of their concerts and see what you think. When I sing with them, not only do I have a great time with nice people -but my voice and skills are strengthened. And there is always a fun wrap party!
