So mere weeks before our wedding, I had to find a videographer. Even though I had my wedding planned for months, I went to a bridal show to find a videographer. I am a slow and deliberate person and like to think through my decisions but due to the rushed nature of my decision, I had to go with my gut and intuition as I needed to have a videographer on board quickly. I visited all of the videographer booths and viewed the videos. I just couldn't find the right one - either I didn't like the background music of a sample video or the way some of video scenes looked unnaturally staged and that was exactly what I was afraid our wedding video would look like and really the reason we hadn't originally considered a videographer. But then I wandered into another videographer booth and watched a video sample that actually moved me to tears - Jordan Bunch Productions - just WOW! I signed up with Jordan right there at the Bridal Show and that was the best wedding decision I've made. Jordan is an absolute genius. I can try to describe Jordan's videos (touching, moving, artistic, great vision, optimizes every shot, great editing skills) but I think you just need to do what I did and go with your gut and intuition because when you watch his videos you will see for yourself that his videos surpass any other wedding videos. Jordan himself is an absolute dream to work with, very responsive to all my concerns and not very noticeable at the wedding which made our video more real and sincere as no one was "acting" for the camera. Someone filmed while I got ready that morning and another person filmed my husband get ready at another location. They then both arrived at St. Mary's Cathedral and filmed the entire wedding ceremony which can be difficult at a Cathedral because of the necessary guidelines to maintain the holy atmosphere. They did a really great job and I love that I can re-watch this whenever I want. After the wedding ceremony, they arrived at our reception at The Texas Federation of Women's Clubs Mansion. They filmed the entire reception through when we had our sparkler send off. They put together a mini-movie which was beautiful. I had just a couple of things I wanted to change on it and they were very happy to do so and they got to it very quickly. I also received the full video of the ceremony and wedding. Pros: -The prices are posted upfront on the website. -Prepared, punctual, and responsive. Frank was on time for our engagement shoot, and early for our wedding day. They were setup and finishing up their test shots before we arrived at the venue. -Frank and his assistant (I think Mike?) went above and beyond on the wedding day. They helped make sure our outfits looked perfect. It had rained earlier during the day on the wedding date, and they ran to grab some towels to dry the ground so that my dress didn't get wet in some of the prime photo locations at the venue (Hummingbird House). -They also helped divert some persistent bees that were swarming our bouquets - this is one of those unspoken but valuable perks if you have an outdoor January ceremony. -Our wedding party loved them, too. They will pepper you with compliments and tell you when you've nailed a good pose. It's a great confidence boost for the one day where you'll be perpetually stressing over minuscule details in your appearance. -The photos! They're amazing! I'm really happy with how they turned out. -My husband and I weren't very picky with any sort of "vision" or "look" that we were trying to achieve in our photo shoots. We'd also never taken professional photos together prior to the engagement shoot. Frank helped direct us into optimal pose positions (e.g. cross or uncross your ankles, tilt your shoulders *this* direction, etc.), which cut out some of the awkward poses that we were forcing ourselves into within the first few minutes of the session. The result was a nice blend of formal/posey photos and natural/candid shots. Cons: -I don't really have any. Frank and his team are so pleasant and working with them was a stress-free experience. 10/10 would hire again.
