Beware of DocuSign's Renewal Practices - Difficult to Cancel and Unhelpful Support I recently had a frustrating experience with DocuSign's automatic renewal policy, and I feel it's important to share a warning for others. I signed up for their service with the understanding that I'd have control over my renewal. Unfortunately, I was charged for another year without receiving any renewal reminder - a step that is actually required by California's consumer protection laws. When I logged in to cancel, I found the cancellation options to be confusing, buried, and not user-friendly. I reached out to their customer support team, explaining the situation and requesting a refund. Despite my efforts, they stuck to their "no refund on renewals" policy without any consideration for the fact that I didn't receive a renewal notice or the difficulties I encountered with their cancellation process. As a California consumer, I expect companies to follow the state's Automatic Renewal Law (ARL), which is designed to protect people from exactly this kind of experience. I have since filed a dispute with my credit card company, and I'm also reaching out to California's consumer protection agencies to report this issue. If you're considering DocuSign, please be aware of their renewal practices. Once you're in, it's difficult to manage your account effectively, and customer support doesn't seem interested in helping customers who feel misled. By far the best e-signature experience available. We're a sophisticated user and I'm seeing that most of the bad reviews here are from individuals who either didn't implement Docusign or tried it once (or never) but got billed. We have close to 20 employees that use Docusign and it has saved us a ton of money. More importantly, it has provided a much better user experience for the signers. We've had a great experience with customer support and our account manager has been awesome. It may be that the support for small/individual users isn't as good, but we've got nothing bad to say about them and would highly recommend it to everyone. We looked at several different options, including using Echosign for a year or so in our company past, and Docusign is much better. We're currently working to use it within Salesforce and that will make it ever more valuable. read more

This company is terrible! Bunch of scammers! A few years ago, I purchased their basic plan for $120/year. This allowed me to send up to 5 documents per month and gave me use of features such as radio buttons. All was great until I started to have a need to send more than 5 docs per month. I was told to upgrade to their Standard Plan for $300/year and I could send unlimited documents. Well, I did what was needed, but then after the upgrade, they removed most features and I no longer had access to radio buttons. They then told me to be able to use those features, I would have to upgrade again to their Pro Plan for $480/year. I see a pattern here. It's called scamming your clients! Shame on you! read more

This is an third party for an lazy landlord that doesn't want to have anything to deal with their tenants. If you give them a deposit on this third party site you'll never get it back by this robot site. I promise you that I've heard this from 3 party that dealt with this ridiculous website that your landlord will force you to get on while renting their property's. I beg you don't move in your landlord no longer in charge this so pose to be third party robot is. They barely answer your phone when it comes to needing help with their rental property one's you sign on this site. Oh We saw lots of bugs that get in your personal website as well. read more

Serious rip off. DocuSign has a huge issue regarding their billing system. I signed up the a year of Professional Edition, and paid annual, for 1user, 1 account. Within a month, I was charged the exact same price, Professional Edition, 1user, 1 account. I called CS right away, and asked refund. Because this is clearly double charge by DocuSign's mistake. They refused to do so and froze my account. No one returns my call, so now I am stuck. I do recommend using Adobe e sign. They are much more better business, and price is $5 lower that DocuSign. Most importantly, Adobe doesn't rip you off, and has a common sense. read more

Leaving this Company. They are making up prices as they go along. And they are having fun doing it. They are nervy, stupid, have horrible customer service and charge a fortune. Now they want thousands of dollars. I have a small business of three people. Their sales division is demanding $2,000 to send out 400 envelopes. I checked with other sources at DocuSign that price was not only inaccurate; it was just "invented." What this company is doing is illegal. They are changing their rates for different customers. I'm not sure who oversees them, but I'm about to find out. read more

This company overcharge or even double triple charges your credit card and refused to refund. There were billing complaint at BBB, all similar case, but supervisors seems to have no capability of changing business practice learned in the past. They still rip off customers. My Credit Card company flagged DocuSign as a fraudulent activity merchant after their own investigation. Do not use this business. Adobe e signature is much better and $5/m cheaper than DocuSign. read more

Docusign is a fantastic esign solution that allows me to service my customers from anywhere at anytime. In a real estate transaction, we get documents that need signatures at the last minute ALL the time. With Docusign, I can get documents to my clients to sign within minutes, and all they need to sign is a computer or mobile device and an email account. I couldn't live without this product! read more

Abysmal. It sucks, everything is so confusing and overwhelming. Very buggy system. Tried twice, and was told twice that they've signed by two different individuals, but actually their names weren't there. For any system, No. 1 turn off for me is being overly confusing and overwhelming, as opposite to foolproof. This software got both. read more

DocuSign is the best of its kind! I have used other e-sign apps and DS is the best by far.

Don't waste your time. There's no way to edit the signature before submitting.
