The…read morelandscape is skillfully planned and well-maintained, with flowers blooming everywhere in the growing season and impeccable lawns. When walking between buildings, you enjoy a park-like atmosphere, and it is so pleasant to simply sit outdoors and enjoy the surroundings and the views from the hill. As a student at Hopkins I appreciated the landscape, and as an alumna I love visiting campus for various reasons, including showing it to visiting friends as a major New Haven attraction. As a gardener myself I think all of the plantings are incredibly lovely and well-placed.

The bursars office and administration are some of the rudest people I have ever met in my life (and I work in an ER) if that says anything. They are the least helpful people. All they want is your money and that's it. 2.The teachers are not kind whatsoever. They don't help the students at all. They don't respond to their emails. My math teacher (she was the only russian math teacher there) literally bullied me the entire semester I was there. During finals, in the middle of the class she word for word said out loud "i don't know why you're here when you're going to fail it anyways." to me DURING MY FINAL. 3. When trying to withdrawal from a class, I had to email my professor asking her to sign the form. She responded to my email "Who are you?" when I had already went to about 6-7 of her classes. When I responded, she never responded back to me which resulted in me getting charged for the class. 4. The president of academic affairs literally got arrested for kidnapping and assaulting the students on campus. Look it up. 5. The school in its entirety, is an absolute dump. It's extremely depressing. (Oh and for the students that are reading this that are thinking about coming here, I'm just going to let you know now that there are literally no parties, NB police shuts them down before they even start) 6. I really hate to say this but CCSU has a very bad reputation of sexual assaults occurring on campus. A lot of my friends went here as well and every single one has gotten sexually assaulted here (some even more than once.) The school has done nothing about it. (You can look this up as well) So parents, I would reconsider letting your daughter go here. 7. OH AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST! When you are done attending CCSU, they tell you you need to pay your tuition in 6 months otherwise it goes into collections. I'm sorry, but I did not have $10,000 laying around nor was I going to be able to come up with 10g's in 6 months. (What a Joke) They also did not even try to work with me or help me they gave me that one option and that was it. AND if you don't pay in full, they will not release your transcript to you. (if you were transferring schools/going back to school, etc) All in all, this school is absolutely terrible. I would not go back here or recommend this school to anyone. It's not just me who didn't like it either, everyone Ive talked to hated it and had an awful experience. I basically summed up what had happened to me while i was at CCSU and sent it to the president of the school and all she responded with was "would you like to give me a call" literally that was it (and the email I sent was probably 3 paragraphs long) Terrible staff, terrible campus, terrible FOOD, terrible extra curricular programs. Everything about this school is awful. HOWEVER, I did like my advisor a lot, she was very caring and kind and really tried to help me. Other than that, they should shut this school down with how many complaints and sexual assault cases that occurred here.

When I started, I could barely utter a "merci" but left knowing how to conjugate several verbs and speak in the future tense, not to mention conquer what had once eluded me - mastering the French accent. My brother, who'd lived in Paris, complimented me on how my skills had grown over the course of my studies. And all of that was attributable to my masterful teacher Florent, buttressed by the tranquil and professional setting that is Aux Trois Pommes. I hope I can return and become fluent -- I'm now an Intermediate level speaker and writer, yah! -- and then my life will be complete.

This school and its incredible teachers brought my French language skill from an elementary level to a high-level proficiency. I have been to France several times since then. I have had no problems communicating and spoke with confidence. 10/10! P.S. The owner, Marie Jose, is absolutely phenomenal. You could not ask for a better person to be running this school. She understands the needs of her students and has a great passion for what she does.

The only problem that I had was with the lunch that they provided. I ordered steak and lobster and the steak was supposed to be prime grade but definitely was sub par choice grade. Everything else was perfect and the teacher Father John was very knowledgeable in his trade.

At First Lady was unhelpful but went out to find folks that could help me. They finally exchanged the books with no issues! Took my prep test courses here and was happy. Good place !

I wonder! Why would anyone go to the town of Berlin? I don't know much about the town of Berlin…read morebut what I do know is that you get to visit Stew Leonards. You get to stop in and gas up at Sam's Club. You get to dine at little eateries on the by-pass. You get take life one step at a time. Berlin is in close proximity to Middletown, Cromwell and other cities all within a 15 minute drive distance. Unfortunately it was raining during my visit limiting my ability to visit and site see. North Branford is about 15 minutes from everything. There are two ways to get to 95 from here. You can take snake hill road or travel through east haven to new haven using Foxon road. The town colors are purple.
