Called a plumber, got it "fixed", and figured it needed to dry out before repairs to the wall and baseboards could be done. Flew home to California and called Scott a week later. He went over, checked it out and gave me a quote. While he was there he noted some water damage in the ceiling and offered to fix that too. This was new, so he took photos for me and investigated to see if it was still wet, but he took it another step- he looked into the attic and identified the issue-the AC. He also pointed out that the shower still leaked if you sprayed water on the valve. I called the AC repairman in and called the plumber back again, who both thought they fixed it. Scott went back and said no way, they didn't fix it. He even met with our insurance adjuster and gave him his proposal to fix the drywall once the repairs were made. Poor guy went back to that house so many times to start work only to find the leaks still going. He wouldn't let the other contractors get away with shoddy work and he sent me photos and explained things clearly to me. When everything was finally fixed a few weeks later he got the insulation, drywall and baseboard replaced, textured, and painted and sent pictures. He even cleaned up and put in a clean air filter for us. This guy is GOLD.
