The following day a "manager" from Chelmsford store called and I asked point blank will you handle a 100 pound dog with a muzzle that can't be removed. Answer- yes muzzles happen all the time, manager was pleased with me being upfront. I said so his head will not be touched. Response we can work around that. But since we are booked so far out put those in the notes when you make an appt. I did that in great detail only to find out day off appt no one reads any of that. I never got a call ahead or reminder of the appt I made 3 weeks prior. Unacceptable.I brought in my first dog 1030am signed all the forms for both dogs and was told I would get a call for the muzzled dog shortly his appt was noon. 10 mins of noon no call. I walk in with him and am immediately man handled by an ignorant manager who has no care in the world to be proactive in preventing an aggressive incident. She told me to remove the muzzle. I said no way. Do you not review appts on new dogs ever? No. I said give back my other dog 1.5 hours after he was handed over they had done nothing to him. I offered to pay and was told they don't want my business. 2 dogs needing to be groomed 30 weeks a year, Petsmart, this is your loss. Get retrained and fire your managers.

I was able to break Iris (my dog) of unwanted behaviors quickly (IE being rough with little dogs, console surfing in the car, unwanted chewing, etc) in a matter of weeks. With this training Iris can reallllly be a DOG. I don't mind if we are on walks in the woods and she takes off after a bunny or something, because I know I can recall her and have her sitting at my side within seconds if she strays to far. I can take her to unfenced yards and she will maintain a close proximity to me. She is kind of a dream now. I see other peoples dogs at the dog park, and they can't recall, can't break them of being to rough. The difference is night and day. I cannot recommend this class enough. Anyone who is interested in an obedient and super happy pup should give Canine Magic a shot.
