Paws In the 'Ville is the best in the business! We've been with them since November of 2017, when we adopted our Jack Russell Terrier, Max. Jack Russells are notorious little crazed beasts, with an intense amount of energy. Having PITV as our walker has done wonders for Max. Elizabeth is his walker and is absolutely beyond phenomenal. She cares for Max as well as (or possibly better!) than we do. He's weird around other dogs, but she has worked closely with him and created an environment when he walks with ELEVEN other dogs in his group, without a hitch. Elizabeth sends us amazing pictures of Max every single time she walks him, and is excellent at communicating with us regarding his behavior (good and bad!). Paws in the 'Ville provides an absolute reliable, friendly service. We were brand-new dog owners when we started with them and Seana did everything we needed to assist us and created a huge level of trust. When we needed to switch walkers after one left PITV, Max had some issues transitioning - barking like crazy when a different walker came to get him and refusing to go with them. Seana worked closely with us until she found Elizabeth to work with Max. We felt completely supported throughout. I can honestly say that PITV is absolutely the best bang for the buck. It's beyond worth every penny we spend to know that Max is in extremely capable hands. Great communication, great community, great owner, great walkers. We used PITV for almost three years for our dog Leo and I give it my highest recommendation. This is the email I sent to the owner before Leo's last day. Tomorrow is my dog Leo's last day with Paws in the Ville. We are moving this weekend and although we're excited to give Leo the yard and space he deserves, we're so so sad to have to say goodbye to Annie. I hope Annie knows how wonderful we think she is and how much we value her, but I wanted to take the opportunity before we left to sing her praises more officially. We've had several pack leaders in our almost three years with PITV and all have been fantastic, but Annie really feels like a member of our family. Not only does Leo love her, but I always enjoy when I get to see her and chat with her because she is such a bright, friendly person. And my one year old human baby lights up when Annie is here too! I always know that Leo is going to be safe and happy when he is with Annie, and her updates always feel so personal and like Leo is her favorite dog (even though I'm sure she makes all the dog parents feel like that). I know Annie loves Leo as much as we do and I think Leo knows that, too. I wish we could take Annie with us to our new town! Seana and Alison are the Batman and Robin of the Boston-area dog walking universe. When I moved from Davis to Kendall Square, I unfortunately had to leave PITV and take another walker for my yellow lab pup, Shelby. It was then that I realized that all dog walkers are most certainly NOT created equal. The service I switched to was inattentive to Shelby's needs and my specific requests. To add crap icing onto the crap cake, they were impolite to the concierge in my apt building. After some poking, prodding and flat-out begging, Seana and Alison agreed to extend their service area out to Kendall and now Shelby (and I, by extension) couldn't be happier. We used to use Paws in the Ville for walks for our dog. We had them come once a week and then up'ed it to twice a week and in addition we would use them while we were on vacation. They were always very polite and for the most part accommodating. My issue with them is that the quality changed drastically with each walker. There were a number of occasions when I arrived home to a dog that needed to go!! I would text and ask if he had been taken and was told that she hadn't gotten there yet (4pmish). What if I hadn't texted? What if I had just assumed that he'd been walked and didn't come home right away? This issue did improve with different walkers. I felt that the walker that we had in the beginning was overwhelmed and stretched to thin. The walkers I had after the first one were much better at sending daily texts with pictures, they would leave notes, share observations, and were flexible. In the end we stopped the service because our work schedules changed. We now use another company. read more

Can I give Seana and Jessie (Paws in the Ville) six stars? They deserve 'em all. When my wife and I considered dog walkers, Seana and Jessie came by to meet our doggy. Then they returned twice (at no charge) to spend more time with my little friend because she can be nervous around strangers. We were supposedly interviewing them, but Seana and Jessie actually asked us a lot of thoughtful questions about our dog's particular tastes or habits. We've since been calling them for regular walks, and we'll continue to call Paws in the Ville and recommend them everywhere! I've been consistently impressed how Jessie takes special precautions in light of my dog's anxious disposition. I've noticed in the months that Jessie has walked her that my dog is calmer and better-behaved. Jessie observes my dog carefully on walks and notices ways to improve behavior. She's glad to share tips if you ask. And you'll want to ask! Jessie has keen insight into my dog's quirky worldview that I've never seen in anyone else who's walked her. Seana and Jessie are local people--I see them around town with their own dogs--and they run their business very efficiently. Arranging walks is easy. They are always within reach via phone, email or text. They are always on time and give your dog every minute they can. I've seen the Paws in the Ville gang around the neighborhood with a great variety of large and small breeds, mutts and pedigrees, walking dogs solo or in small groups. Of course, the best judge of a dogwalker is the dog. Mine has always had separation anxiety, but when Jessie comes, my dog is eager to go--and relaxed and happy when she returns. I could tell when I had my first meeting with Seana that she loves what she does. We have a "special needs" dog, as I like to call him. He is a rescue who does not like other dogs, and attempts to attack joggers and bikers. Needless to say, walking him can be quite difficult. But because of his anxiety, exercise is extremely important for him. Jessie and Seana came over and immediately were on the floor playing with our dog. He loved them both was obviously very comfortable with them. The both knew a lot about dogs and behavior problems, and were more than willing to work with him. Jessie has been walking him for about a week now and when I come home he is in such a good mood! He is very happy and relaxed. There is definitely less anxiety and barking at night. Paws in the 'Ville has been a lifesaver for us since adopting our Boston Terrier, Moose, when he was just 8 weeks old. Not only have Seana and her crew been able to keep Moose happy, healthy, and (most importantly) nice and exhausted, but they have also all but eliminated the anxieties of new, nervous parents. Seana's facility with animals is evident and obvious from the moment she meets your four-legged friend. Despite having vast training experience of her own, Seana has always been extremely accommodating to coordinate with us to ensure that Moose is being dealt with consistently. Where some take an "I know better" approach, Seana recognizes that each of her clients has a different set of needs, and she always rises to the occasion. For example, when we found ourselves heading to San Francisco just weeks after engaging Seana, arranging for care of our puppy was a no brainer. Seana stayed in our guest room, got up with Moose at 3 hour intervals to ensure crate training went smoothly, and texted us updates and pictures almost hourly - all while commuting back and forth during the day to care for her own dog as well as meeting her obligations to her other clients. I could list dozens of additional examples of Seana blowing my already high expectations completely out of the water. Seana is flexible, compassionate, and routinely goes above and beyond the call of duty - not to mention that at her current prices she's a total steal! Vicky is fantastic for the group dog park trips. I get pictures of my pup while I'm at work and it makes my day to know he is having fun with the other dogs. It is very flexible, so if your schedule changes you can cancel or choose a different day than originally planned. I love PITV! I've been a client for 3 months, since the second week I had my puppy. I've had two different pack leaders and they both clearly cared about my dog and wanted to make sure she enjoyed herself and was adjusting to life well. My dog was very shy and nervous when I first got her, but being with PITV has taught her how to walk on a leash and be comfortable without me. We have Steph taking care of our puppy and she is the best!!! She honestly saved us from a bad dog sitting situation last minute (not all companies are created equal!) when our lab puppy was only 8-9 weeks old! We were referred to Paws in the Ville through our neighbors, and I just happened to run into Steph in our parking lot. From there, she agreed to take on a puppy that literally just came home from the breeder and has done the best job!! Steph is the nicest person and is very communicative through text. She sends a ton of updates and photos from the day. She takes our puppy (now 4 months old) out with her on two play sessions, and keeps him with her until the end of the day (he naps in her car and gets to socialize 1:1 with appropriately matched adult dogs). She has also done some house sitting for us too on weekends. Our pup has literally grown up with Steph and considers her his second mom haha, he loves her! He always comes home happy. Thank goodness for Paws In the 'Ville!!! I cannot say enough about the whole crew! Seana is amazing and so are Mel & Michele!! After coming out of a nightmare of a doggie daycare - where dogs went unsupervised for hours on end - Dexter, our American pit bull started to come home with "battle wounds". We immediately pulled him from the daycare. Dexter was learning bad habits and started to worry us. We tried a couple walkers and found nothing was working out. My wife remembered meeting Seana at a pet store with her dog and said we needed to call her. Best thing we could have done. Since then we basically have had our pup trained and happy. Its started with Jessie - she trained Dexter to sit - fetch - drop etc. Like a PRO. Dexter is now the Ultimate ball player. Seana has taken over seeing Dexter and he is happier than ever. The love of animals Seana has is amazing!! We recently had our cat pass away and Seana sat on our kitchen floor feeding him milk while we were at work. She goes above and beyond. Last minute emergency walks - No problem. Mel and Michele are also fantastic! I get cool pictures and videos sent along with a daily journal on how are little guy is doing. Seana is fantastic with our Oscar (a greater swiss mountain dog). She has been taking care of Oscar for almost a year now. We rest easy knowing we trust her in our house and that she loves our Oscar as much as we do. She also does a great job noticing/observing certain things that could be of concern for him (health or behavior-wise) and is always not only willing but more than able to help us reinforce new training habits. Seana is an absolute professional! She is always reliable, and the communication couldn't be better - she leaves me notes (report cards, if you will) about Cooper's day in playgroup, and notifies me promptly about scheduling conflicts, often able to arrange coverage for the playgroup so Cooper's routine is not interrupted. And it's obvious that Seana loves the dogs - Cooper is always excited to see her, and jump in the car with his other dog friends to go play! I absolutely love Paws in the Ville. They have been amazing from Day 1. The owner Seana came to my house ahead of time to meet me, meet my dog, and talk about the plan going forward. Immediately you could see her love of dogs, how much experience she had, and that my dog would be in great hands with her or any of the other PITV walkers. These guys go above and beyond, and really give individual care and attention to my dog's needs. Not only does Tammy walk my dog, she has worked patiently with him on socializing him and his barking issues. Bonus is how she stays in great touch and sends texts/photos every single walk about the day and any tips she may have. I have absolutely noticed a positive difference in my dog's behavior, and he is so happy when I get home after work.
