I love this concept! It feels like a safer way to allow dogs off leash since vaccinations and records and checked beforehand, and combined with the outdoor seating it's the perfect summer spot. My dog had a great time here and it was a nice way to allow her to interact with other dogs. For drinks I tried the southern belle and loved it. I didn't get a chance to try any food but their menu looks great. I'd love to come back soon! read more

A convenient place to tire your dog out without them getting muddy. I like how spacious it is and there are plenty of heated areas for patrons. There is at least one person on pup patrol and they have a variety of typical bar food to order. I do wish more of the owners would pay attention to their pups since there are many blind spots if you're in the tented area. We found a number of dog poop piles where dogs run around. read more

This is such a fun spot and there's such a need for spots where dogs and their guardians can hang out together. Love that I can get actually really delicious thin-crust pizza (!!) AND have a safe fun spot for my dog to run around. The paw patrol is nice, having someone watch out for some of the dogs that may exhibit some unsavory behavior. The food is really good and I'd even eat it without the benefit of the dog garden. Love that all the dogs are required to upload vaccination records so you know it's safe. My only wish is that there was a little more seating, it can get busy! Please keep the small dog Tuesdays, my little girl loves it and feels so much safer on those nights! read more

If you live in the city and need a social spot to take your fur baby, but you'd like some social time for yourself too, this is your new home. Dog Daze is a welcome addition to the city and timely since Bark Social recently closed down. They are doing it right by offering a clean safe place to bring your dog, great local brews, and fabulous food options. I'd have to say that the restaurant alone is a reason to frequent the place. As social dog parks go, Dog Daze is a little on the small side. Nothing you can really do about that in the city. Parking is limited to what you can find around the block because there are no nearby garages. It's not too hard to find something though. The seating is a bit too limited. I get that they need to have picnic tables to accommodate the folks who are eating, but more individual seating is needed. Maybe some additional heaters in the winter too. The food is the highlight though. I'd order the pizza even if the dog park wasn't here. read more

I cannot believe I have never been here! Came with my friend's dog and realize they have a great brunch and bingo on Saturdays. It was freezing outside so they were so nice to turn on the outdoor heaters and move them around if we needed them. They had blankets for you to use and the outdoor van has coffee to warm up. You can also get food delivered to your outdoor table so you can let your dog play longer. All of the dogs (and people) are so well behaved and it was fun to pet so many of them. They have a tented outdoor area where you can warm up more if your dog is on leash. We had the best server who made sure we were well taken care of. She was so sweet and checked out preferences and made great recommendations. She was such a gem to chat with and sorry we didn't get her name! All of the staff was so incredible and friendly and they really take care of you. Moreover they are constantly cleaning up here, both after humans and the dogs so you do not need to watch your step. If I had a dog I would come here more often, but nice to know you can always hangout indoors without one. read more

DC needed a spot like Dog Daze! At Logan circle, Dog Daze is not only an amazing dog park, but it is a great restaurant (that's why they are calling it a social club) The pizzas come fresh from the oven, they do have a full bar serving classic beer, wine but also delicious cocktails! You have to get the soft serve and sorbet too! Very clean, there is a wall to put leashes on (first time i am seeing that in a dog park)! This place will be a hit in no time - there are also nice heaters outside so you can enjoy your food inside or outside. Highly recommend!!! read more

I've been here with my pup 6 times since it opened, and it can be hit or miss. Recently there are more screaming kids running around than dogs - like way more. Parents seem to be using this as a park where they can have kids parties and let them run around and play, while they eat pizza and have beer. Which isn't a bad thing - just not really our thing lol. My dog wasn't thrilled with there being so many kids (he got stepped on a few times), and the screaming was a little much for our group. It kind of reminds me of what happened with several of the local breweries - they were often taken over by kids birthday parties. I personally liked the vibe better shortly after they opened where it felt like a neighborhood bar that was very dog friendly, now it feels more like a kids party place that also serves beer and food. read more

Found this place by accident while on a walk. Best find ever! Our two rescues are socially anxious, but we have been taking them out more and they are thriving, especially due to venues like this! The staff nd other dog owners were all responsible and attentive. My boys, Xander ans Axel, became social butterflies in front of my eyes. Back at it. Took my neighbor's dog and went with a friend, all three of us had a great time. I had a very nice lager and she had a dog daze old fashioned. We shared the pizza which was more like a snack as it is cut in squares and was a bit on the burned side but it had a lot of pepperoni which made it good. What an amazing experience! Food and beverages were fantastic. The pizza was thin crispy and had great flavor. Sandwiches had homemade focaccia bread with great quality ingredients. Best soft serve I have ever had!! Came back to bring our dog to the garden the next day and had an incredible experience watching football on the outdoor TV's while enjoying a cold beer while my dog played for hours without any incidents. Placed an order for delivery and the restaurant gave our delivery driver the wrong pizza (no way for him to check since it's sealed) and was missing the other part of the order. There was no name to distinguish our order or label on the pizza. To make matters worse, there is no phone number to call and see if our actual order was still in the restaurant! The pizza we did receive (The PEP) was the saltiest and most inedible piece of pizza i've ever eaten. Do not recommend unless you are sodium-deficient! An insult to tavern style pizza. read more

We were at Dog Daze Social Club on Saturday for their "soft opening" and it was way more than expected. From the beautiful well thought out garden area for both dogs and people to hang out which also includes a shipping container with a bar and bathroom and two large TV's on top for watching sporting events, and plenty of seating for outdoor dining/drinking while watching your dog or just enjoying the garden area. The inside of the cafe/restaurant has a great vibe with a fresh unique design that opens to a covered patio. Between us, we had most of the cocktails on the menu which were (to use the word again) unique to other bar/restaurants and were very very good. We started with the candied nuts and bread with dips which are made in-house and they were much better than you would typically find, and the caesar salad with white anchovies was perfect. We tried a few of the Chicago tavern-style pizzas which are made from scratch including the pepperoni pizza with a generous portion of pepperoni and topped with a glaze and fresh graded parmesan cheese as well as the "Sweet 100" and white pizza and I will say, they were all fantastic and different than I have had in DC. We ended with the soft serve Fior di Latte with lemon crumbles and olive oil and the black and blueberry sorbet topped with lemon crumble and 19 year old balsamic. Both were awesome and I doubt you will find anything like this anywhere else in the DC area. This is a place that I could frequent several times a week, I most likely will since there are many more items on the menu to enjoy!! read more
