We had the best date night at Game On! My husband and I played a few games and were in constant competition the whole night. If you're competitive like us, just know it's on sight once those games start lol They've got a great selection of arcade games, fun pinball machines, and even a rubber ducky grab claw machine (which low-key becomes personal after a few tries). It's the perfect mix of nostalgic and chaotic fun. The menu is simple but solid, hot dogs, burgers and shareables. They also have a full bar, which is always a plus. Definitely a great spot for date night or a night out with friends. Service was cool, but it does get packed, so keep that in mind if you're going on a weekend. Also, you'll need coins to play the games, so bring cash! Overall, such a fun vibe.

I love the old school arcade, bar, & food spot concept!! So when I saw this spot a while back, it was a matter of time until I pulled up!! Let's go see what they're hittin on!! . Where I am: @gameondc . Location Reviewed: 1330 U st., N.W. Washington D.C. . Items Reviewed: STAMP!! Their Sloppy Dog Glizzy ($12 an all beef hot dog with a cheese blend, onions, beef Sloppy Joe, & Old Bay fries). The Sloppy Joe on this glizzy was nostalgic!! Tasty, fulfilling, with crispy fries!! STAMP!! Their Mac n Cheese Bites ($13 fried Mac n cheese with hot honey). These caught me off guard!! Cheesy, sweet & spicy with the honey...actually tasty!! STAMP!! Their Chopped Cheese Crunch Wrap ($17 with ground beef, lettuce, onions, adobo, American cheese, & Game On sauce). Perfect late night food!! A grilled, folded, taco basically...deliciousness!! STAMP!! Their Mocktails ($9 their Baby Butter Beer Mocktail, & $7 for their strawberry lemonade mocktail). That Butter Beer was pretty much a cream soda, STAMP, & the lemonade was tasty!! LIKE THAT! Their Wings ($15 eight half lemon pepper, & Thai chili flavor). Tasty, crispy, & well seasoned!! STAMP!! Their Truffle Fries ($7 fries with Parmesan & truffle sauce). Fragrant, crispy, & cheesy!! . Customer Service: On Point. . Parking: Rough!! . Recommendations: Definitely get that Wrap!! . Accessibility: It's is wheelchair friendly, & it's differently abled persons friendly 5 Stars=STAMP 4 1/2 Stars=LIKE THAT 4 Stars=DELICIOUS 3 Stars=DECENT 2 Stars=PASS 1 Star=NAH #Bigschlimsreviews

A very fun spot and great location. Food was great too! The drinks were okay and definitely on the more expensive side. Service at the bar is easy and quick.

I came here for their furlough event which was a good gesture. They gave out 20 tokens, 2 drink tickets, and 1 food ticket for furloughed government employees which was a great gesture. Love that they did that. However I did not care for the bartenders. They were a little rude and kind of soured the mood. Also the drinks on the drink menu wasn't that great. I had the Cactus juice and it was way too sweet. Didn't love it. My friend had the Koopa Troopa and sent it back. If I were you I'd just get a regular drink if I came here and not order off the menu. The ambiance was great. Looks very retro and they have some cool retro games. Overall it was a good space. But the one bar tender being rude annoyed me to no end. And my friends said the wait for their food was long. It's a cool spot. I'd stop by here if I was bar hopping. Just don't expect the drinks on the menu to be great and again you'll have to deal with the weird/unwelcoming personalities of the bar tenders. Updating my review: my food came out pretty quickly. My friend's food took an hour to be delivered she said. However, that was never the issue I had. I don't know the bartender's names but there were three of them. Two of them were good. One of them was being super extra for no reason when my friend, and then I, was asking her for the complimentary shot we were told they were giving out. I literally said, "can I have one also please" referring to the shot after I saw her giving it to someone else, she then spoke to me like I was a child saying that I needed to say "MAY I have a shot please?" Like I am in kindergarten. This lady was thinking that I'm going to beg for this shot. It's not that deep. The two Blk female bartenders were cool. I had no issues with them. The third one, I'm not sure if she was white or Asian, was super extra for no reason pretty much expecting me to beg for a shot, that was sponsored mind you. The manager came and smoothed it over somewhat afterwards and mentioned my review above. I would update my review but I'm not seeing that option. But then again, I don't care to anymore thinking again just how antagonistic that bar tender was being. She literally made an entire scene over this shit. I love bars with arcades so I wanted to come back here again prior to this incident. But I really don't want to deal with that bartender again. I was looking forward to coming back here, but why would I want to spend my money here in the future and deal with this lady on her power trip. Overall it is a decent spot. The door staff and everyone else was cool. Check this place out if you want. The food I had was good and they have cool retro games. Only issue you may have is the bartender pissing you off for being rude and making a scene for absolutely no reason.

That month I had started Uber driving, was in this area of DC, had heard good things about Wiseguy, and decided to eat here. Although I don't like paying to park just to simply eat a meal, I sometimes will make an exception for convenience and/or if it's a place I really want to go. But for the most part, I'll go to restaurant where they have free parking or at least I can find free parking near the restaurant. I remembered getting a parking spot very close and feel like I feed the meter like 50 cents in 2014 parking prices for a quick 30 minute meal. They have all kinds of varieties of slices from the standard toppings or just cheese to fancy ones. Although the pizza is fairly thin, but average for New York style pizza. I tried Andy's Pizza 11 years later in 2025, and while it was solid although not as good as Wiseguy, my real complaint with Andy's was that the pizza is very thin, where I was hungry very soon later; so a much worse value as pricing is comparable to Wiseguy. Wiseguy slices are big, and the pizza is top notch New York style. I went to this location a couple of more times after my initial August 2014 visit as I loved the pizza. Then, they opened up other locations. I went to Navy Yard one at least twice, once after a Nationals baseball game after a disappointing loss for my 4th favorite baseball team, Texas Rangers. Sorry Nats fans, but Nats are in my bottom 10 teams. I also went to Rosslyn & Pentagon City location, where parking isn't quite as bad. They even had a Wheaton Mall food court location, which I got to experience once, but they sadly closed. Every experience with Wiseguy has been positive.

Street Parking Only & It's Definitely Hit Or Miss. I Got Lucky & Found A Spot, But It Is Metered So Be Prepared To Pay. This Spot Is Literally A "Side Door" Located On The Side Of Scarlet Oak. Super Unique Setup With Cool Lights That Make It Easy To Spot. It's Different From Your Typical Pizza Place, Which I Actually Liked. This Is Detroit-Style Pizza, So Don't Expect New York Style. It's Thick, With A Generous Amount Of Mozzarella Cheese & Tomato Sauce. Honestly, It Almost Felt Like A Cheesy Bread Situation But In A Good Way. The Crust Was Buttery With A Slight Crisp On The Outside & Soft Inside, Which Was The Perfect Balance. We loved the panzanella salad with the creamy burrata. And the tuna tartare was chopped nicely and seasoned well. The standout for us was their pizza though. Mamma mia!! The Drunken love with pepperoni and vodka sauce was to die for. Their pizza is like a mix between NY style and Neapolitan. The crust is crispy and puffy. It took a lot of will power to not eat the whole thing. The pastas fell a little short for us. The alfredo was just ok- not the best flavor. And the pesto was really soupy and a huge portion. Definitely, more Italian American than traditional Italian. We wrapped up the dinner with a cannoli brownie. A fun take on the classic Italian dessert. Overall, a delicious meal! We will be back for pizza FOR SURE.

When we first walked in, the cashier immediately apologized for the long wait times, thanked everyone for their patience, and let us know they were incredibly short staffed with only two people working. Because the tiny interior was already packed, we decided to leave and do some sightseeing first. However, seeing how good the pizza looked we knew we had to come back later that afternoon. There's no negative details in my review. Nothing but positive things and a small recommendation. 1. Staff and Service I really appreciated the cashier's honesty about running behind right off the bat. That allowed us to make an informed choice rather than get frustrated by a long wait. More businesses could learn from this! 2. Restaurant's Layout The inside is a bit tight and busy, but it's located in a smaller older building, so they have no other options. Since they can't expand the inside adding an outdoor pub height counter for eating, a bench or some seating out front would be a great way to give waiting patrons a place to sit. Also a place to eat. 3. The Pizza -The Veggie Pizza: My nephew and I both ordered this, and the slices were massive you'll see in my pics! They were honestly the largest slices I have ever seen! I love pizza and have eaten it in New York and Chicago, and my slice here held its own. It was loaded with a huge variety of vegetables. I requested to put mine through the oven twice to get the veggies warm and cooked because I noticed my nephew's slice looked like a warm salad on crust. So happy I did because it was delicious! The jalapeños were intensely spicy which is on me, since I'm a bit of a lightweight with spice! -The Meat Options: My son got the pepperoni and thought it was really good, and my husband got a supreme slice which he also said was good . 4. Price and pizza size- they're more expensive than a typical slice, but once you see those big ole slices in my pics you'll understand why. They can't even fit on a plate. They had to serve them to you in an actual pizza box! After reading my long review you're trying to find out if I would go back huh? Absolutely! If I ever in the area or stay at the Hilton DC again, I would definitely walk right on over and get a slice. You can feed a family of three on one slice! Adult and two small children!
