Bob was great, and Rye was so gentle and patient playing with Bellie... I realize puppy energy is not always fun for everyone, so I'm very grateful they were willing and more than able to handle it. They made our first ever sleep over a great experience and I felt very much at ease. Plus, now Bellie has made herself an awesome new friend and has a fun and safe place to stay when I'm away! The space, indoors and out, is perfect for pet sitting and is close to Lake Cumberland so very convenient. Bellie already can't wait for her next play day!!!

My sister made a reservation for an overnight stay for both her dog and my dog in the same phone call. The drop off hours posted both in their facility and on their website are Monday - Saturday between 7:30 - 11am and the pick up hours posted both in their facility and on their website are Monday - Sunday between 3:30- 6:30pm. These are the only times the Pet Lodge allows pick ups or drop offs. The rates posted both in their facility and on their website are $32/day and $18/day for doggie day care. We dropped both dogs off together about 9am on Saturday morning during the posted drop off times and picked them both up on Sunday about 5pm during the posted pick up times. Based on the Pet Lodge's policy there was no earlier time we could have picked them up. When we settled up our bills, I was charged $67.84 for one night of boarding! My sister was charged $59 for one night of boarding! When I questioned my bill, I was told she was charged the old rates and I was charged the new rates. Now keeping in mind the reservations for both dogs were made in the same phone call and the dogs were dropped off and picked up together, this makes absolutely no sense. In addition to being charged $67.84 for one night of boarding, when I got in the car with my dog, she had a strong smell of urine. She had been bathed and groomed within the last week and smelled fresh when she was dropped off so I have to question the cleanliness and conditions in which she was cared for. It is for these reasons that I do not recommend this facility.

He was a completely capable cat going into this. When getting my cat back from the back room, we pointed out that he could not walk normally how he could before. We pointed this out to the vet and the vet cited arthritis as the cause of him not being able to walk. My wife and I were more concerned because he had never acted like this before. Dr. Brown then hesitantly recommended going to get an x-ray to see what maybe the cause while simultaneously inferring that arthritis could be the cause of his inability to walk. We went down the road to get an x-ray and it turns out that they had snapped his femur from his hip joint while under their care. When we asked about this, they were very hesitant and said they had to contact their insurance agents before answering any further questions. Dr. Brown then later came to us, confirming that his femur had been snapped and ushering us to get him euthanized, even though we had originally came in for simple bloodwork. Now my cat is lying next to me with his femur snapped as we wait to get a second opinion on what we can do while they try to cover their tracks on what they've done wrong. I highly do not recommend this for they have inexperienced that tax who will manhandle your animals behind the scenes without cameras and then become very KG when they are returned with exterior injuries. I say this as a cat dad of many years, who loves and cares for his animals and who would give nothing else for a cowboy, my cat, to be OK just like he was before visiting this vet for simple bloodwork. This vet needs to be investigated for malpractice in the very least.
