On top of that she had the gall to charge $150 for this shoddy crappy awful haircut. I'd stay away that's for sure. I wouldn't recommend it to one person who has a dog that needs a grooming. Puppy came home with broken blood vessels in both eyes, after further examination, the vet determined this to be caused by an extended period of STRANGULATION from a slip lead, likely she was left unattended on a table and fell off, and not helped immediately. She very easily could have died. None of this was disclosed at pick up. This puppy that's not had an accident since she was 11 weeks old, and has absolutely loved going to the vets, peed, cried and cowered on the table in the exam room. DO NOT take your pet here unless you just don't care about them.

I even saw them write everything down, so there should have been no confusion. To make things even worse, the employee specifically asked me if I wanted a lion cut, and I clearly said NO. It's honestly shocking that something this drastic was done when the request was so specific and minimal. Now my cat is uncomfortable, her coat is ruined, and she's been acting stressed since the appointment. This wasn't just a small mistake--this was a complete disregard for my instructions and my pet's well-being. If you can't follow clearly written directions--or even a direct "no" to a specific question--you shouldn't be grooming animals. We took our dogs here for the first time recently. We've been to a few groomers and this is our…read morefavorite for sure. We felt like they care about our dogs and that they were in the best hands. We brought our puppy that has never been groomed before and she was being quite difficult, so they suggested we bring her back in a few days later so she can get more used to the setting and the clippers etc., and we really appreciated the thoughtful way they handled that. We have taken our dog Zoey for grooming for a few years. This last year we have had a number of…read moreissues. Biggest one is (apparently) shampoo or other chemical in her eyes. This time has been the worse. Both eyes flame red, watering and she prefers to lay with her eyes closed. She can see when she walks, but who knows how well! We have put drops in her eyes which has helped. Last two times it took a couple days for Zoey to stop rubbing her eyes. That was one eye each time. This time it's both. We will be at our vet if this is not continually improving the next 24 hours. One time is an oops, multiple times is incompetence. We will not be returning to Posh Pets grooming any longer. We will be at our vets on Monday to insure Zoey is OK. Absolutely no longer recommend this groomer!

When I tried mentioning it to the nurse that did intake she immediately brushed it off and mentioned the doctor will be in shortly. We get to the end of a very very basic exam, checking teeth, heart, weight, eyes tells she she's in good health and we go upfront to pay. They hit me with a $50 fee for the exam which I clarified about the deal and they just didn't care. I pulled up their OWN website and read them the deal and they still didn't care. I told the girls at the front desk that I felt this was a bait and switch and extremely dishonest, and they smiled at me and said "restrictions apply" and that "we know it's confusing we've asked corporate to change that" so that tells me I'm not the first person this has happened to. Cool, if you're business wants to do bait and switches and be dishonest to new clients then I won't ever be doing business with you again, and I'll personally do my part to get the word out that you're robbing people point blank. That's not how you give good service, that's not how you treat customers, shame on all of you

Took my dog in for a suspected blockage as my regular vet was booked up for the day. I had already…read morehad X-rays from a day before and I know he got into something. Dr. Gill comes back and recommends a set of X-rays, and a full blood workup ($$). I agree, but ask the vet tech to run the x-ray first to rule out the obvious and hen run the blood. She says sure, no problem. Then comes back 10 minutes later and tells me it'll be 30 minutes before the blood tests are done. I confirm, yes they drew and the Dr "thought it best to run both". OK, first strike. So I go sit in my car waiting the allotted time with my sick puppy. I get a call about 25 minutes later, asking if I plan to come back in for the results. I said, I'm in the parking lot. Kind of rude, so second strike. Then the Dr goes over his results, and tells me that next options are a barium test $$, Ultrasound $$$, or exploratory surgery $$$$. Before I decide, I ask her why she ordered the blood work before we had a chance to review the X-rays. She then lies to my face, and tells me she "came out to talk to me, but I was gone." Third and final strike. No way they're touching my puppy! So I pay, and ask for a copy of my records and mention my disappointment to the woman at the counter. I simply state I'll pay, but I need a copy of my records for the next vet in case of an emergency and I won't be coming back because of what just happened. Another tech comes up and asks what's wrong; she tells her "oh, he's mad we ran the blood without asking him"! I offer, no, I'm just disappointed. She doubles down, oh he's just mad". How rude, I wasn't mad - but I sure am now. Please, do yourself and your fur baby a solid. Go anywhere but here. They don't care about pets, they care about money. And lack even simple, common, human decency. And to top it off, maybe they could spend a little more time cleaning the rooms between patients.
