My 1st visit with my standard poodle was not at all acceptable. You shaved him down too close and does not make him look appealing at all! He was shaved so close, you can barely tell his exact color--Apricot. He looks gray because of the close shave. I will be cancelling his next appointment and would not recommend your shop to anyone. We love this cute little doggy spa! We get my Westiepoos nails trimmed here once a month and the staff is always wonderful! Very friendly, efficient, and they're great with my dog. This place is fabulous. They always do a great job with my sheepadoodle Dexter and he looooves going to see them to get his haircut. They also have a cool treat bar out front and Dexter likes to try to shoplift before/after his appointments, but I try to get him a variety of treats (they have lots to choose from). The cuts are great. The price is not. I never know how much our dogs are going to cost. If the hair is too long because we couldn't get an appointment sooner, we get charged extra. If our puppy is squirmy, we get charged extra. It got too expensive to continue. There isn't just one price for a cut and they stick to it. The cuts are great. The people are wonderful. Sage and her team are great. They've been grooming our dogs for years and we've never had an issue. The doggie treat bar is super cute.... It's a buffet of healthy treats for dogs and I like that they come in multiple sizes since my pups are small. I also buy a doggie donut treat every time I go in there to give to the neighbor's bigger dog. We are regular, loyal clients and I highly recommend them. read more

They are the best groomers around! They bring thier mobile grooming van to your home and will go in to get your dog if you leave a key under the mat. This is really helpful if you work full time. They try to use the same groomer on your pet each time so that the dogs are more comfortable and get to know the groomer. They are very caring when working with the dogs and are the only groomer I trust with my two little ones! Hair cuts are always really well done! Highly recommended. read more

Thinking that I called my regular groomer, I called At Your Bark And Call by mistake. This was the best mistake I have ever made. My eleven year old poodle had the best grooming ever. I have 4 large dogs. 2 with behavior problems and 2 older (one with medical issues and one just a bath chicken!). We have been using Sage for a year or so and are completely satisfied!!! The dogs are well groomed, cared for and loved while they are in her care...even though the first thing they do when they get there is poop on her floor! . Shelby the oldest and furriest has come a long way from the days when she just wanted to eat the groomer! Now she may give her an occasional dirty look but gets her bath, dry, and nails done like the good dog I know she can be! We've tried multiple groomers at this location and had bad experiences every time. We've never left with our dog looking the way we've requested. We've had portions of the dog left too long and when we return we get blamed for it being too long. The last time was the last straw - a complete hack job on the whole dog except the tail which was left long. She also came out smelling like urine, so AFTER being at the groomer she needs a bath. Additionally, we discovered when we got home that her brand new collar was broken. So if you enjoy your dog looking like a long legged squirrel or a poodle your grandma would have been proud of in 1970 and smelling like dog pee this is your place. Otherwise, look elsewhere. read more

Love, love, love Sage - the dog whisperer! She takes the best care of our pooches. We have two large breed dogs and one pint sized pup! One of our larger dogs doesn't like anyone touching his paws and had to be muzzled in the past to get his nails trimmed - not with Sage! She spoke lovingly to him and didn't even restrain him! He let her trim away. Our other two babies - the ones that need hair cuts - never pull away when we go inside. They love her and her staff - especially our recent 9 yo rescue! He's quite smitten with her and I never worry when I drop them off! I know they are in great hands! And don't miss the biscuit bar! Our babies love the organic goodies! read more

Called for an appointment and more info and left a message, then called again about a week later thinking that maybe somehow they were too 'busy' or didn't get my message etc.....and never heard back. So, yeah... customer service=0 stars. You can tell how eager they are for new clients and business.... your company is wasting money on advertising. Will tell my friends and colleagues about you guys. Not worth the time as you don't have or make the time to call potential new customers back. O STARS from me. read more

i know someone who worked there for a little bit and they absolutely hated it. they didn't get breaks so they had to eat WHILE they were grooming a dog, they didn't have set hours, you kind of just arrived at a certain time and then stayed until she said you can go, so they were working 10 hour shifts with no breaks except bathroom ones. she talked bad about them behind their back to other employees, and let her own personal feelings and non work related scenarios interfere with how she treated her employees. she would manipulate them into staying with her by saying that they couldn't find someplace better. their work isn't half bad, unless you count the time part of a dogs tail was cut off, but their prices are crazy. they wouldn't deny dogs who could not handle being groomed, and instead let the other employees work on those aggressive dogs and let them get bit/scratched/or even kicked. i know this is a small business and everyone wants to support local business owners but i'd rather go someplace that the owner actually respects her employees. if i knew my kid was working someplace with absolutely no breaks i would be raising hell with Sage. read more
