Generally, we need to do fairly extensive explaining in order to have our dogs not left with poofs, puffs, or other silly poodle bling, but our groomer here understood a "working dog cut" immediately and did a wonderful job on our pups. BTW, the other review about double-coated dogs and deep grooming being harmful is ridiculous. We get our dogs shaved short, they love it, and the coats grow back in beautifully every time. Short in summer, and thick in winter. Our dogs also had a positive experience, and did not seem traumatized or otherwise negatively impacted, as we have experienced with other groomers. Were heading back in again in just a couple of weeks, and feel like we've found our grooming home, thrilled that it's a local establishment.

She ended up with pancreatitis and hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and in the hospital for 3 days. After sharing my story with various people in the community, including at her vet office, I was told that they had all heard bad things about this place too.
