We came to Wag N Wash to get our dog groomed, and overall had a great experience. The groomer was very professional and made it a point to give my dog dedicated time since it was his first visit here. We showed her a picture of the haircut we wanted, and she replicated it perfectly. The store itself also doubles as a pet mart, with plenty of natural options in addition to the standard selection of items, which was a nice bonus. The only downside was that the grooming ended up taking about 4 hours instead of the 2 hours we were initially quoted -- though I understand she wanted to take the proper time with him. Still, overall a solid grooming experience, and I'd definitely bring my dog back. read more

What an amazing experience! From calling, to next day service, and mind you they did everything I asked for and more. Collin was the groomer for my baby Coop and he went above and beyond. Coopers hair is a tight curl and also a bit unusual and he spent 3+ hours on him. I was speechless. If you're thinking about going here please do. Brought Hurley, my sidekick, here for a bath and some treats. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive to helping the customers. In the self wash area, everything is explained and there was a staff member checking in, occasionally, to make sure I didn't need any help. Also, all the options were clearly explained to me. After the self wash, I wanted to treat Hurley to some goodies. There were two or three more staff members ready to help answer my questions. There is a large selection of treats for your pup. I have been shopping here for quite some time but just decided to use them for grooming. I booked online and the price listed was $55. When I went to pick up my dog the price was $100! The staff said it depends on breed and size, then why wasn't this communicated to me prior to them grooming him not at pick up? Although the groomer did a good job, I feel their website is very deceptive and their lack of communication on pricing did not help. read more

I was taking my Goldendoodle to PetsMart, both the one on 136th and 156th, we had a great groomer on 136th, and then she left the store, the other groomers were fine, but my dog was so stressed out before and after the grooms that a friend suggested I try Wag-N-Wash. Absolutely wonderful! I relayed the information to a friend, and he and his wife took in both their Goldendoodles and had the same fantastic experience. The team is always so friendly and keeps my dog's food in stock. The prices are very wallet friendly and signing up for emails usually you can get a coupon to help with your purchase as well. They always ask if I need help finding anything and carry the dog food to my car. When I come for a bath, the process is super easy and the best tubs I have used in the area. They also dremel my dogs nails without an appt. which is super convenient! Alex and Sarah were CHAMPIONS. I have a large St.Bernard who is a bit skittish around strangers, and they took every single chance to make him feel comfortable. I know they're around large dogs all the time, and their energy is perfect for a nervous pup As far as the facilities, they have tons of options for conditioner, shampoo, AND fragrance. You can even bring your own conditioner and shampoo if you want to pay less. We LOVE coming to Wag N Wash! Mike and his team are an amazing group of people who genuinely care about everyone and every pet who comes in the door. We have been coming to Wag n Wash since our golden doodle was a little baby (5 years old now) and have never had a disappointing experience. Excellent place for washing your dog! Everyone was so nice and the facilities were exceptionally clean. They give you lots of towels and the water sprayer has soap and conditioner options built in- you just select your options. I liked the deodorizer the most it was lightly scented and for someone with two dogs, Im always worried that I've gone smell blind. Someone once said my car smelled like dogs and that's horrifying to me. This will ensure they aren't stinky. There's a dog drying area and they have really strong dryers which is nice. They also carry raw dog snacks like chicken necks and gizzards and single ingredient snacks like dehydrated beef liver. They also have a selection of cookies and really high quality dog food. I wish I remembered to take photos of our pups grooms afterwards - but what can I say? I'm pretty slack about it apparently haha We had been taking our girl Honey to Kelley - and she always did an absolutely beautiful job of her full groom. The shedding treatment always did wonders, and she kept her feathering and hocks so nicely trimmed (I'm truly so impressed with the lines and blending - seamless!) Everyone in the store was always so sweet, and when Honey had an accident there (through no fault of anyone at the store - we have a quirky girl who threw herself off the table after being placed on and ran in to another table ) everyone was so kind, even offering her some baked treats which she happily accepted (and they would have covered the vet visit if we needed to take her - thankfully no need!). The next day Kelley called to check in and make sure everything was alright, which was very thoughtful. Honey was and is perfectly fine, and my husband and I have a good laugh at how that was such a "Honey" thing to do. We wanted to take our dog for its first professional grooming and wanted a local non corporate experience. Wag an wash is owned by Pet Supplies Plus the largest chain of pet supply stores in the nation with less than stellar reviews. We called and made an appointment and asked what was included, we were told one of the things they do is clean the dogs ears. This was important to us. When we arrived to the store we did not even get inside when the owner opens the door and says we are backed up about 20 minutes we can put you on a wait list. No greeting or asking what brings you in. We then said well we have an appointment and responds oh let me check, it took 5 to 6 minutes and someone came to get our dog. They put her in a cage which was the first time for her so we hung around approx. 10 minutes to se how she would respond. After 10 minutes with them working on other dogs we went next door to shop. Her appointment was at noon and at 12:39 we get a call your dog will be ready in 15 minutes. we got there in 5 the groomer saw us and brought our dog out. When we got home she was laying on her side and i could see her ears were not cleaned. I got a cotton tab wet and wiped her ears, see the attached picture. Called the groomer and she says we won't put qtips in her eras so we cant get whats deep down. I did not use a q-tip and only cleaned with my pointer finger took all of 2 minutes thats just one ear. I called the owner Mike who was apologetic, seemed concerned and wanted to look into it. My wife got a message they called so I returned the call. Mathew said Mike is gone be he is aware of the situation and can help. I asked him what his role is and he said he is the general manager. He explained they reviewed the video and the groomer could have done a better job. He also stated we were there for 55 minutes. When we called and Mike both said a grooming should take an hour. I said we were there 55 minutes or the grooming was 55 minutes. He said he did not know because he did not look at the video. I said we dropped her at noon and she was in a cage waiting 15 minutes later and we picked her up at 12:45 so maybe 20 or 30 minutes and her ear is filthy. Mathew continued to talk over me to inform me other places charge extra for nail clipping and ear cleaning. I explained I did not take her to another place I took her to you and was told it was included. I said I paid $60 dollars my dog to get groomed, she is short haired so it did not even need to be trimmed. He then told me again where he worked before they charged extra. He kept going cutting me off. And I kept saying Mathew can I talk to which he responds well you don't want to hear what I have to say so we are done and hangs up. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision on to what you might expect. I always say a business really defines itself on how they respond to an issue, I know that things happen which I understand. To sum it up very unprofessional. The employees were great, very friendly. I don't like writing reviews like this and would have preferred to settle this without going to this extent. Mathew needs some training on how to interact with customers. read more

The gal who groomed my Scottie, Stella was caring enough to notice her paws she was chewing on and other issues that might result in needing the vet. She had gone through cancer with removal of a large lump throughout her belly and another a year prior to that. Thank goodness the vet gave her the OK and she is healed. She did have a hard time combing her out and was nipping at the groomer, something she never does to me because I leave the conditioner in while combing her hair and getting rid of the matting scotties tend to have from their long sides. I will use asap Wag N' Wash from now on since moving to Broomfield from Arvada where I had a groomer for a very long time. I went here a few weeks ago for a dog harness. Mike the owner of that franchise was working and he was so friendly and accommodating. We have a tripawd puppy and so we needed to try it on and he helped us figure it out and was so understanding when our puppy was just being a puppy. (Running around) I definitely recommend if you're in the area to check out this store or find a Wag N' Wash that is in your area. Got my dog groomed here. They did a horrible job. They cut his hair way shorter than i asked for, then they didn't even finish him because they said he was moving too much. they left two patches of hair removed from his head and left it like that. I will never go back here and I don't recommend their grooming services to anyone. read more

I received a coupon last week for a free wash, so I brought my German Shepherd in as he was getting kinda stinky. Right away the staff greeted us and brought us back to the wash area. The lady helping was very nice and brought out all the materials to me. My pup didn't really enjoy getting clean, but he sure smelled better afterwards. They provide plenty of towels, shampoo, and conditioner. After the bath, there was a drying station, which my pup really hated, but it was necessary to get him dryer. After the experience, the staff gave my pup a little bag of treats for free to take home. If my pup wasn't ready to leave, I would have checked out the store a bit more. I saw they had lots of food, and toys as well as a dog grooming area. They also had a fresh dog bakery that smelled amazing! I will definitely be back! read more
