They always do a beautiful job on my dog and she isn't easy to work with. Have been going here for years!

What can I say about Doggone Purr-Fect...except...AMAZING! I use to go to another groomer locally, and I was never happy on how my lil boy never looked white. My friend took my dog to Doggone Purr-Fect and sent pictures to me, he never shined so bright! My dog is a Coton de Tulear, which is not a common breed for this area. Tobi McCarthy and Paula Brasil are the most competent, reliable, friendly, generous and greatest people to deal with. Having been going to them for now over 8 years, I travel from Salem, MA just to have my dog groomed. I will not take him anywhere else! They are professional and always always make time for my dog and my friends. If you want to know more about them...please send me a message. I will be happy to let you know that this is the place to go in the Merrimack Valley area! Top notch, clean, friendly environment. You will NOT be disappointed.

My havanese groomed elsewhere on the left and what they did on the right!

Steer clear of this place! They almost killed my dog…read more The FDA issued a warning about Credelio causing seizures on Sept 21st, 2018. Four months later they gave it to my dog! Immediately she started having diarrhea but I didn't connect the two. Then she started having seizures and the second one she stopped breathing in my arms. After I got back from the emergency Vet, I started to do research. When I called them to find out the name of the medication I also found out they gave her TWICE the amount for her weight! My dog is 76 pounds and they gave her a dose for a 100lb dog. This is clearly medical malpractice to gave prescribed a dangerous drug and also too much of it! I would like to remove their Cornell diploma and run it through the shredder. These people belong in jail!

Upon becoming new patients I was very impressed with the compassion and great care they provided to me and my pets. When my dog suffered a stroke and had to be put down, Dr Johnson was so kind and comforting. Fast forward to 2018, where the facility is now caring for my aging cat, who they diagnosed with Bladder stones. The price for the surgery was off the charts and I couldn't afford such a thing. The alternative was taht They put her on a special diet to dissolve the stones., and then when I tried to order food, they failed to do so. Upon calling multiple times to obtain food or a prescription where I could get it elsewhere I was told that they could not give me a prescription and they could not help me and that they no longer wanted to treat my cat. I asked them to please send me a prescription as my cat now would need to return to food that caused the stones as I had to be able to feed her something. I then received and email that They no longer wanted to treat my cat and were sending me a prescription and my records. This was so shocking to me that an actual VET that was so caring before would turn into not so much of the care of the animal but now turned into a money hungry uncaring person. My opinion is things changed when I couldn't dole out the money for surgery and wanted to try an alternative plan. When the alternative plan was to buy my food closer to home they felt they would no longer benefit from me being a customer. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE Customer service and patient Care!!!!

DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE…read more I would never trust this facility with my dog. One of the biggest red flags was finding multiple ticks on dogs and bringing it to management's attention, only to feel that the issue was not taken seriously and that owners were not being properly informed. As a dog owner, I would want to know immediately if my dog had been exposed to ticks. There was also an obvious level of favoritism among both dogs and staff. Certain dogs seemed to receive all the attention while others were overlooked. If your dog isn't one of the favorites, don't expect the same level of care and supervision. The trial process feels completely pointless. Despite having evaluations in place, dogs with poor behavior were still accepted, creating unnecessary risks for both staff and other dogs. It often felt like filling spots was more important than maintaining a safe environment. Overall, I left with serious concerns about the standards being upheld here. When you're paying someone to care for your dog, transparency, safety, and consistency should be the bare minimum. Based on my experience, I did not see those standards being met, and I would strongly advise dog owners to look elsewhere.

The owner comes out after being tipped off by a customer where I might be and eventually makes a ruckus in the restaurant I'm patronizing after stampeding past the hostesses at Karma. The owner is extremely rude and disrespectful in this establishment and deserves no service from any clientele. She has a very bad attitude and will not take any criticism or even listen to you. I eventually succumbed to her request and moved my vehicle but the way she approaches potential customers or difficult situations is a telltale warning sign that you are not welcome here. Your mileage may vary. Proceed with caution here.
