Came in at midnight with an emergency in our cat that we learned was a severe urinary blockage…read more Initially they said the vet was leaving soon and they couldn't take us, but he decided to stay late once he saw the condition of my cat. That i really appreciated, along with the extremely accommodating and caring nursing staff who attended the front desk, they even brought out a kitten to comfort us as we waited. Now the bad part: the initial estimate i was given was 1k for outpatient, 2.5 for surgery if necessary. When the doctor comes to see us, he wants to leave a catheter in for up to 48 hours which would cost close to 5k, and doesn't even mention surgery or outpatient options. We don't have that kind of money lying around (who does?!) and the nursing staff was positive about negotiating and encouraged us to be honest about our budget. We only discussed outpatient once a lovely nurse came to sign paperwork, after which the doctor came back and told us it would still be 1500, after we told him that we couldnt afford the other option. He was honest about the chances of success with outpatient treatment (50:50), but i don't think it is equitable or justifiable to charge such a large sum beyond the initial estimate, especially after the nurses hinted to us that the vet sets the price. It feels like extortion when you are having a life threatening emergency with your pet and the doctor treating your pet is setting the price as high as possible. Overall, I believe this place is thorough with their inpatient care, but they didn't give me great care instructions for afterwards and I wouldn't recommend coming here for an emergency unless no other choice presents itself. I would recommend coming here to adopt kittens, though! Very lovely very caring nursing staff. My sweet boy is on the mend still so I cannot say whether the outpatient was successful, but we will be seeing a different vet today to ensure that he is doing well. We now know that male cats are extremely prone to urinary blockage, and it can be very life threatening!

Anyway, almost $500 to run tests, etc etc and should've just asked for the $25 eye drops I was expecting to get. Don't be hesitant to just ask for the obvious solution. Not recommended.

We weren't bringing him in for a dog event, and seen that they are pro-groomers (which I agree with!) We weren't a huge fan of the grooming, just because we specifically wanted his legs to be stubby and to not cut down too much. We do wish they didn't shave the feet so far up. Usually it's not too high up and the fur from the legs cover it up a little. For us, we make sure to well groom our dog to avoid any shaving and make it easier for the groomer and make sure to grown his fur on his legs and face out especially due to how we like it groomed. The ears weren't what we described as well, but we cut it more ourselves. There were some spots with shorter hair then the rest and some long hairs sticking out which I fixed at home. It wasn't a fit for us, but appreciate the job that was done because Jax does look clean. I do groom at home so I'll fix up his ears. We did say we're open to "creativeness" so that's fair, but we meant it in a different way hahahah! We give our groomers grace because we know how hard it is, but I also love to be honest about it :) He also came home with a bow which is so cute! Price: $103! And the most expensive we did spend for a grooming for him. We still tipped because she did great, just not the style we wanted. Parking was great and easy to get to, and they have many services. I do want to go back to this place maybe one day but we'll have to see :)

We exclusively use the beep or vibrate functions to capture a dog's attention, and we never administer shocks. Training collars help dogs that struggle to shift their focus during intense play or display inappropriate behavior that could lead to issues. Every client is informed about our training approach at the beginning of our services through our intake paperwork. Our primary responsibility is to make decisions that ensure the safety of the dogs in our care while providing a fulfilling free-range experience. A shock collar was discovered on my dog jammed so tight on his neck that both my husband and the male employee had significant difficulty removing it. The employee at pickup did not disclose the use and was going to allow us to leave with this collar still on our dog. There was no communication during his stay that this type of discplinary action was necessary and it was a complete shock, since we have used the boarding service several times and our dog's behavior has only been praised. A single finger couldn't even fit underneath it. The employee on duty had to physically choke, pull, and wrestle my dog to get it off causing him severe distress, flailing, and yelping. He was inside of an unsupervised crate with this device and staff have not disclosed how many days this device was used. We have tried to communicate with the owner directly, and have been told three very different explanations regarding the use which shows deception and lying. Leaving an improperly fitted, high-pressure correction tool jammed on a confined dog unattended, with zero shift logging or handler handoff is negligence, plain and simple. When confronted with these safety failures, the owner doubled down with deflection rather than addressing why my dog was wrongly subjected to unmonitored equipment and choking under their roof. Formal complaints has been filed with Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC), along with deceptive business practice reports with the WA Attorney General. Save your dogs the trauma and avoid sending your dog to this facility.

I believe it because on his last day there, he's been afraid of people, paces, flinches when I go to pet him and is a completely different dog. He used to be such a happy boy. They also refuse to let you see what is going on in the area where they keep the pups. Everything is hush hush. I asked about two injuries and never received an answer. My pup came home with a penis infection and a cut elbow. My pup will never go there again. Some of the staff is also not very nice. The manager is rude and aggressive. These people should not be working with dogs.
