Please do not take your furbies here for daycare. My baby went here briefly. Something happened to him and he has not been the same ever since. The vet thinks he was beaten and mistreated. I believe it because on his last day there, he's been afraid of people, paces, flinches when I go to pet him and is a completely different dog. He used to be such a happy boy. They also refuse to let you see what is going on in the area where they keep the pups. Everything is hush hush. I asked about two injuries and never received an answer. My pup came home with a penis infection and a cut elbow. My pup will never go there again. Some of the staff is also not very nice. The manager is rude and aggressive. These people should not be working with dogs. read more

Perpetually busy for grooming and daycare. The location is in an industrial area toward the back of the complex. (Pass the seafood company on the right and take a left at the end of the complex.) The ladies who work the front counter are always nice, and they have periodically accommodated us for daycare when we are in the vicinity. You CANNOT beat the prices for daycare here. Biscuits is one of the reasons why I wish we lived closer to Federal Way! Once, we dropped off our dog on the way out of town and asked our aunt to pick him up before the end of the day. She wasn't sure if she'd make it back from work before they closed, but the owner assured us that my aunt could stop by because she'd be there a little past closing. This was super nice and accommodating of her! I'm subtracting a star because I don't think it's possible to walk back and see the daycare area. I've been to other doggy daycares that will do this on a moment's notice. It may not be possible due to spatial logistics and liability, but it would be nice to be able to see the space back there. This hasn't prevented us from bringing our dog here, though. Great customer service and he's always happy when he comes home. read more

This place is amazing! The staff and workers are soo sweet. My French bulldog Kira loves it here. They always take great care of here and always accommodate us even when it's a last min appointment. I told both employees 3 times that I wanted my dog's face to be super short especially around her eyes because the vet told me to tell them that. To help with the tear stains. I explained this to both employees. My dog came back without this done at all, and her haircut looks like a hack job. When I picked my dog up they asked me if this is what I wanted. Considering they didn't listen to me at all after telling them 3 times I just wanted to get the hell outta there and never return... Despite this I tipped them and even gave Heather a Starbucks card for a free drink, as well. Not even a thanks....soooo Either you just hate me, or you hate your job....I definitely Won't be returning. So if it's because you hate your job then get a new one. read more

I'm a new dog mom to 2 pups and am very particular about who I allow my dogs around. I checked Biscuits out on Yelp, along with a few other groomers in the area before calling. I'm so happy I decided to call Biscuits Pet Place first! From the moment they answered the phone (I'm so sorry if I butcher this, but I believe her name was Jennifer), I felt at ease and welcomed. I was able to get an appointment (I felt) immediately that fit my work schedule. And there is Elizabeth. Oh, Elizabeth! How we love you! She was very thorough, attentive, and transparent. I really appreciate how she communicated with me and kept me involved during the entire process. PLEASE do not ever make change in careers/locations! My mini schnauzer Brycie-Bryce loves play care at Biscuits. I bring him once or twice a week just so he can play with all his friends. Unfortunately customers can't actually see their pets playing because we do not have access to view the play area. I'm actually fine with not being able to see as long as my pup is fine, which he always is. Bryce is always pooped from day care which is refreshing to know he's getting all his energy and exercise out in a fun and safe environment. Drop off and pick up are really easy because they have payment plans so customers don't have to pay everytime they bring in their pet (prepaid accounts that the company keeps track of). The girls behind the desk are always helpful and I appreciate their great customer service. read more

Ever since the owner retired and sold Biscuits the service has gone down, the customer service is TRASH and the quality of work is not the same. Love taking my toy poodle their to get groomed. They always do a great job. Need to call a few weeks in advanced for an appointment as they are pretty busy. The only con is they never give you an exact time for when your dog will be ready for pick up. I loved Biscuits; the only reason why I'm not still going there there is because I don't live in Federal Way anymore. And I still can't find a good groomer on the eastside! Our Australia cattle dog Rocket has had his nails/ bath done at the vet for 4 years. Recently we were told that Rocket needs to be medicated for nail trim because he has become overly anxious. It was hard for us to watch our wild kid become all drugged up once a month, so we went onto the neighborhood website to get recommendations from the community. 4 our of 5 neighbors recommended Biscuits. I immediately drove there to book an appointment. I laughed because I was greeted by a very laid back big mountain dog. The place is unusually calm and relaxing even with the noise of blow dryers. On game day I took Rocket there with a Tupperware of cut up beef roast. Susan clearly knows dogs. She is sweet to Rocket yet very assertive. She did such a beautiful job with Rocket. Susan really took her time to make it a good experience for our boy, Rocket was clearly in a good mood all day! No medication! We are now very relieved and super grateful to have found Biscuits. All these neighbors are right. They truly love and care about animals, and it really shows. Highly recommend Biscuits! read more

I was referred to this place and so I called to check them out. I was told that they no longer accepts "doodles" since they are a lot of "work". Interesting concept from a place that advertise pet grooming... I guess with this Covid pandemic, businesses can be "picky" who they want to service. So call first, who knows the list might be long of which type of breed they don't groom. read more

I took my dog for some grooming, he smell so good, my dog was very happy, the lady told me that my dog could have an ear infection, so since I already had an appointment for him that day for shots she said I should ask the doctor, and yes, :( he had infection on both ears. I bring my dog to be groomed at this place and they did a big cut under her arm that need stitches, she had to spend the day at vet hospital. I'm so disappointed because they just said that .. it was an accident, accident? they supposed to have well train groomers!! My poor dog has to be inactive for 10 days because of this!! read more

It's been a while since I left my dog here for day care, and board. But I'm still mad about it so I'm going to write this review anyway. First, I paid in advance for doggy daycare -- a certain number of days. Second, I left my dog there for boarding several times. One day, I made a reservation for a one-week stay and when I called the receptionist said that Luci had been expelled from both day care and board care because she's a bully. And I said, oh really? Why did nobody tell me that the last 6 times she was here? And they said they didn't know, but her file said she was expelled and could not come back. They did NOT REFUND ME THE ADVANCE PAYMENTS I HAD MADE, either. And they didn't apologize. It seems a little odd to me that she's fine staying there all this time and then suddenly not. So something must have made her anxious there. And she got punished for it. Anyway, I still want my money back. read more

I had a friend recommend Biscuits and I was not disappointed. I called and made an appointment to get my cat "Gracie" shaved. In the pasts I had to take Gracie to the vet and have her sedated to get her shaved. I hated doing that for a couple of reasons. It's very expensive and I hated the side effects from the sedation, and I know it's just not good for her. But I thought I had no choice...I was wrong! Susan is very experienced and knows what she is doing. She told me my Gracie did great, and there is no need to sedate her. What a relief! I am FOREVER GRATEFUL and found the very best Groomer! When a dogy day care won't let you look to see where your dog is going to play with other dogs. Red flag! I went in to check the place out as a future option. They were very busy, which I thought was a good sign, but when I asked to take a look around they refused access and told me that they give tours, "somewhere around 10", didn't budge, and offered no explanation. Something just feels weird about a place that refuses you access to where you'll be paying for your pets to be boarded. It's just a gut feeling so I can't give it one star, but when I click on 3 stars, it says everything's A-OK, and it's not. It could be a great place, but they made a bad impression on me in under 2 minutes. read more

I'm a regular here and get my shih-tzu groomed every few months! For $60 he gets a bath, haircut (I always have my dog get the puppy cut as it is easy to maintain), nails trimmed, and gland expression. They provide really good customer service and know how to take care of my dog! My only complaint is that every time I bring Simba home from the groomers, I notice they cut his nails too deep into the nail bed! They're always bleeding. I'm taking him in again tomorrow so this time I'll make sure to tell the employees about that because it was a reoccurring problem. read more

Bailey can't wait to get to Biscuits for playcare. As soon as we turn onto the Biscuits street she goes into a tail-wagging frenzy. The playcaregivers are uniformly welcoming and she is happy to go back to the care space with all of them. On hot summer days they fill a pool for the dogs; if you tell them when you're coming to pick your dog up, they'll make sure he or she is dry. Bailey's groomer is Heather, who is skillful and affectionate. Bailey comes back looking like a showdog (she's a labrachow GSD mixed breed). Bailey goes to playcare because she's an "only dog". She's been going since July. It's given her lots of new friends and increased her social skills markedly. read more

My dog has gone from not being willing to even get out of the car when near any building that remotely sounded like or smelled like "dog", to feeling comfortable walking through the front door and willingly going into the grooming area without any coaxing. I walked in unannounced on a Saturday morning with my long haired cat. He had gotten a ball of feces matted up so tight that I couldn't snip it off and it didn't look like he was going to be able to force anything past it. I was in and out in 5 minutes. She dropped what she was doing and went right to work. First clipping his nails and then dealing with the mess as well as trimming the area. No appointment, in and out 5 minutes, $12! Going back soon for a bath and trim, quoted $50, great price. Location is a bit tricky but easy enough. read more

I have two German Shepherd Dogs.. One who suffers from a ridiculous amount of anxiety. . The ladies at biscuits always make their visits very comfortable. I've also called and have been able to get a same day apt. . What's better than that! My dogs do not require any special grooming, I just take them in for baths. . But They always are so soft and beautiful looking afterwards! They also do a great job clipping nails. Bottom line is. . These ladies do an amazing job and I highly recommend them. They also require rabies verification! Love that! It's nice that they care enough to take that extra step! read more

I love this place. The dogs are watched closely and the very ample staff treats them well. The owner is involved with everything. The fact that they can also be groomed here and not have to sit in a cage all day is great. You can tour this place and they'll also show you a video of your dog while in the playcare area if you want to see how he's doing. This is the first playcare business that met my standards since my pup is like my child and I want him to be safe and happy. The only thing that would make it better is if there was a webcam for people who's pets are there. I highly recommend this place. read more

Best grooming service I can imagine. We had an emergency situation. Our cat got sick and had diarrhea and it was matted all over her when my wife and I got home from work. Everywhere else we called were closed or didn't have a cat groomer in anymore. They were closing at 630pm and we called at 6 seeing if they could take us in at 620. They said they'd be happy to take us in. We came running in at closing time and they stayed late to clean her up for us. Both groomers were very caring and thorough. They also had a pet boarding/day care area. The people working back there were also very friendly. We saw multiple people come by to pick up there dogs and they all seemed to have very positive experiences. The entire staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. It's always hard to find good help, especially at closing time, but the biscuits groomers blew us away with their service. We will definitely be back with our cat and dog. If you're looking for a groomer/day care look no further, this place is the absolute top. read more
