He is so accommodating to our schedule and is always really punctual. He's also working on heel and leash commands with her. If you are an overprotective pet parent like me, Doggy Dash is your walker. This is our first week using Doggy Dash, and I am already blown away by their professionalism, responsiveness, and by the individual care they have provided for our little dog, Bubbles. First, our dog walker, Kai, is phenomenal. She is sweet, gentle, and patient with Bubbs, which is so important because he is a rescue (just adopted 3 weeks ago) and is recovering from a broken pelvis. Kai walks Bubbles all by himself and gives him lots of individual attention. We live at a busy intersection in SF, and so there is always lots of traffic, and our little guy, who was hit by a car as a stray, is scared of traffic noises. He also is scared of putting on his harness for walks, loud voices, etc. Kai is clearly an animal lover. She emanates the kindness and comfort that I think is so important to Bubbles (and all dogs!). In fact the woman who runs the housekeeping service we use (and have used for over 10 years-- I trust her immensely) was home cleaning our apartment yesterday when Kai came to walk Bubbles and went out of her way to contact me and tell me how patient and sweet Kai was with Bubbs. She also is extremely punctual and reliable. We have a 2-hour window for Bubbles's walks, but Kai has consistently shown up to walk Bubbles right around 1:30 p.m., which is the specific time that I mentioned as ideal. This is particularly nice with a new dog getting use to being home alone during the days. Not only is Kai fantastic, but Lizzie, the head Doggy Dasher is wonderful. She responded to my email request within an hour or two of my contacting her. She answered all of my questions over email and was super responsive (like responding within minutes). She and Kai came to meet and greet us and Bubbles on an evening that worked for us, within only a couple of days of my request. During the meet and greet, both ladies were great, and I was particularly impressed with Lizzie's attention to detail, asking all the right questions-- i.e., is your dog allowed to have any of his toy treats when we walk him? will the front door lock automatically, or do we need to lock it with the key? etc. Lizzie also have been hyper responsive this week with all of my new client questions. Doggy Dash also is all hooked up with a software that sends me automatic emails when Kai arrives to walk Bubbles and sends me little reports after the walk-- with Kai's notes of what happened, whether Bubbles went #1 and/or #2 on the walk, where they walked, etc. There is even a GPS function that shows the walk! read more
