Jeanette has been full time with my mini schnauzer for 3 years. Everyone asks me how I trained my dog so well and it was all Jeanette. She is so loving and caring of our pups. We love Jeanette! read more

I don't know what I or my wiener dog Willy would do without Jeanette! Willy loves his daily walks and it makes me so happy and stress free at work knowing that my pup is getting great exercise, socialization, and love. Not only does she provide such great care of my dog, but she is very responsive and always takes the time to answer any questions I may have/provide advice. Would highly recommend her and if yelp allowed it would give her ten stars! read more

Jeanette is wonderful and took such good care of our pup this past week while we weren't home. She sent us photos of their fun outings during the day and even a cute video she put together of the pups and their playtime. As a new puppy parent I had questions regarding socialization, how much walking is too much, where to go, etc. and she answered all of my questions and was very reassuring. She is 100% correct when she says a sleepy puppy is a happy puppy. Our little guy Ollie can be a bit resistant to going to bed -- after his first day with Jeanette he went right to bed and slept the entire night without making a peep. Victory! Highly recommend! read more

Walks & Wags SF - Our little guy Ollie having fun with Jeanette and his new puppy pals - Dog Walkers Near Me

Jeanette provides by far the best dog care I've ever experienced. Susie, our Australian Shepherd absolutely loves her. Jeanette is thoughtful about how she organizes play groups and treats all dogs as if they were family. She is completely reliable, regularly sends updates, pictures, and even helps with training. She is truly a dog expert, and at this point I couldn't trust Susie with anyone else. I am jealous of my dog's life thanks to how well Jeanette treats her. Jeanette deserves six stars for being absolutely the BEST dog care expert in San Francisco. Thank you! read more

Jeanette is simply the best! Our dog, September, absolutely loves her and it's easy to see Jen loves her like one of her own. Whenever we are out of town, Sep always goes on her own vacation and stays overnights with Jen and I can tell has the best time with Jen and her dogs. She sends photos of their outings and my husband and I love it. We love Jen so much one of the first things we got sad about over moving was that September wouldn't be walked by Jeanette anymore. At this point, Jen is part of our extended family and any dog that joins her group will be better off! read more

Jeanette is the BEST!! She is super responsible, loving and gives great care to each and every dog in her group. Our pup Griffin loves her and excitingly waits for her arrival each weekday morning. We are so lucky to have found her! read more

Can't say enough great things about Jen! But the one thing that really stands out and is obvious from the moment you meet her is how much she TRULY loves dogs and being around them!! Having met a few different dogwalkers in SF, they all choose to do it because they like dogs well - but the personal love and attention Jen shows her furry clients is remarkable and to me is the most important factor in choosing a dog care provider. Having had lots of experience with lots of dogs, Jen knows how to accomodate any kind of dog personality, and for Greta my 4 y/o Golden, who is a retriever and a lover above all else, she knows exactly how to keep her happy and comfortable. Jen was able to accomodate us on short notice when I was headed out of town for a weekend - got in touch with Jen on Thursday and she picked Greta up on Friday. And she was super reliable and provided lots of great photos and nice little text message updates throughout the weekend. Jen will provide about as many updates as you'd like and it certainly helps you feel like you're not in the dark about how your dog's doing in her care. I could tell right away just from talking with Jen that Greta would be in great hands and the photos showed clear proof of that! Greta was definitely way happier than she would have been otherwise getting on and off attention from my busy roommates over the weekend. All in all, Jen provides a level of loving care for her dogs that's above and beyond what I've experienced with others - highly recommend her for dogwalking or dogsitting when traveling! read more

WE LOVE JEANETTE!!!!! After moving across country from New York City to San Francisco in September 2015, we were not quite sure what we were going to do with our 4 year old welsh terrier, Winnie (aka Winifred when she is misbehaving). Lucky for us, we met Jeanette at Chrissy Field during our first week and the rest is history. Winnie has always been a bit of a lone ranger and typically prefers people over dogs, so we were nervous that she wouldn't fit with the existing pack. Jeanette assured us that Winnie would fit in great and even took her out with the pack for a few days to make sure that Winnie was happy and comfortable. Since joining the group, Winnie has been doing great with other dogs! We are still utterly amazed that Jeanette gets Winnie to share her place with other dogs. She's a true dog whisperer. We would highly recommend Jeanette to anyone and everyone. Your dog will get plenty of exercise and care from the best in the business and make some new friends. And not to mention, Jeanette takes some great pictures of the gang - sure to provide you with many laughs. Thank you Jeanette! --Christian, Meg, and Winifred Slack read more

We moved to SF with our black lab and got hooked up with a great dog walker. Our lab was well exercised but she started acting up and something just wasn't clicking... The dog walker actually recommend we switch to Jeanette! She has a great reputation in the community. Other walkers and vets adore her. She was the absolute perfect match for our lab and for us! I refer to her as our dogs "other mom" because I know that Jeanette truly loves our dog like her own. She is very knowledgable about the health and wellness of dogs. When our lab had a rare illness that required a month of testing, overnight care to keep fluids in her and a death sentence from 3 different vets, Jeanette did everything she could to help take care of our lab and also support us. She is a wonderful friend and we will be forever grateful for her love, support and compassion. Our lab is healthy, happy and loving life and we have Jeanette to thank for that!! Our lab has a wonderful pack of furry friends that swim, run, fetch and explore every day together. She can't wait for Jeanette to come get her for the next adventure. Jeanette is awesome about taking photos and keeping us updated via text and email. Jeanette has experience training dogs so she takes time to work with the needs of her pack. Our lab has anxiety in the car and Jeanette is not only working with our dog, but with us to help adjust that behavior. Jeanette cares so much for her pack and for the owners, I couldn't be happier and more grateful that she has been taking care of our lab for over 2 years and has become a part of the family! read more

We moved to sf from Boston about 4 months ago with our English bulldog. I was immediately anxious to find the perfect Dogwalker bc my dog is not just my pet...he's my baby!! After asking around in our building, we found Jeannette from walls and wags. Understanding the importance of finding a good match, Jeannette came over for a meet and greet to not only make sure we liked her...but Eddie did too!! She assured us that she wanted to always make sure Eddie was well taken care of and , most of all, happy!! Because, as she said, "dogs have feelings too. They are part of your family!" Since then, Eddie has been on a bunch of adventures and absolutely loves them!! He comes home and puts himself right to bed after all the fun Knowing that I miss him so much while I away, Jeannette also makes sure to send me lots of pictures while they are playing so I can be assured Eddie is safe and happy! She evens posts them on Facebook too!! Since then, Jeannette has been fantastic!! More recently, she helped us out of a real bad bind where my husband got stuck in ) hour traffic and Eddie was left alone with no dinner or potty break. I frantically called her at close to 9pm (while she was out at dinner with friends!) and she immediately left her dinner and ran to eddies aid. That's why we are so glad we found walks and wags! Jeannette understands that dog walking is not just about pee breaks and food, it's about making sure our fur babies are happy and content while we are unfortunately away from them!! read more

Our dog Sasco absolutely loves Walks & Wags! She is so happy to go and have hours of fun with other dogs and comes home very tired and relaxed. Jeanette the owner is also very communicative of any health issues and let's you know immediately if something seems off with your dog, which we really appreciate! She also has great tips and training advice. Our dog has also gotten much better at walking on leash with us since starting with Walks & Wags! Love it! read more

Jeanette is simply the best dog care professional in the Bay Area, and we are so lucky to have found her! We wanted to find a walker who took the dogs out for real off-leash exercise at the beach for extended periods of time and that is exactly what Jeanette delivers. She started walking our pup Alfie when he was 9 months old and had recently recovered from a broken leg. She made sure he fit in well with her pack and kept an eye on his stamina and leg to ensure he was recovering well. He cannot contain his excitement when she comes to get him M-F and comes home happy and exhausted. We have also seen his obedience and impulse control improve since he started walking with her. She has helped us with training advice as we try to leave him alone more and even lent us a Furbo so we could try it out before making the purchase and goes above and beyond to accommodate us when things come up. Jeanette provides doggy nail cuts and she is the ONLY one that Alfie will let cut his nails. We trust her completely with our dog and I think Alfie may like her more than he likes us! read more

Huge (Frenchie) Fan!! Jeanette is one in a million. We'd been with our prior walker for two years and given work/schedule changes, we needed to find another option for our sensitive, managerial, spoiled Frenchie. We were impressed with Jeanette's due diligence: she came over to meet with us before committing to take Gigi into her pack and really understood what we were trying to accomplish (more exercise, more structure). What we got was above our expectations: we have a fitter, happier, and well behaved bulldog who now has a social life! Jeanette is reliable, professional, and always flexible to our last minute travel schedules. Additionally, we get updates if Gigi isn't 100% her usual Frenchie self (in addition to sending us pictures and videos of the group playing). Check out her Facebook page for some incredible dog shots: our home is now adorned with large canvas's of Jeanette's work. Her passion and innate ability to understand our four legged family members - mentally, physically, spiritually - is enviable. We trust Jeanette with our life!! read more

I wish my dog loved me as much as she loves Jeanette. She is the best. Thoughtful and loving. She always lets me know if she notices anything amiss with Juno, and cares for her like her own. I'm so grateful to have found W&W. read more

When my dog walker moved away, I was heartbroken. But she recommended Jeanette. And honestly, it was a match made in heaven. Jeanette is the most caring and loving person for my pup. From the moment I met her, I knew that my dog was going to be in very good hands. Jeanette is a dog whisperer. Plus she is just a really nice person. Everyone in my building knows her and loves her. I trust her and she loves my dog as much as I do. If there is anything that she is concerned with, she will always let me know, but in a kind and gentle way. She sends photos and just enjoys being with all her pups. I am so happy to have Jeanette be a part of our lives. read more

Let me start by saying how much my own dog means to me, and by dog I mean child. :) It was SO important to find the right person for the job. It's like finding a nanny for your child, incredibly difficult. The moment Jen met my Bulldog Bully, I knew she had something more than just a friendly face; my dog was obsessed and couldn't get enough of her. She is careful, thorough, punctual and ALWAYS gives me a complete run down of her time with Bully. I even get tons of photos, which I love! I have been working with her for about 4 months now and Bully and I could not be happier with her service! read more

Jeanette boarded our chocolate lab for 2 weeks and I think our dogs vacation was better than ours. She sent us frequent updates and pictures which made us feel so comfortable. We will definitely have her board our dog again. Highly recommended. read more

Without a doubt the best dog walking service in the city. Jen is incredibly professional and polite. My dog adores her and she is great about sending us pics everyday to make us jealous of him out on the beach while we are stuck at work. She texts us to let us know when she's running 10 min late even when she knows we aren't home during the day. The group sizes and rates are the best in SF and my dog is happier since he started hanging with Jen. We are lucky to have found her read more

Truly, there are no words to express how much Jeanette has helped our family and our dog Lucy. Jen is loving, smart, trustworthy, dependable and just an all around wonderful person. I would lose my mind if we ever had to make a change to a other dog walker or day care. There is just NO COMPARISON between Jen and anyone else out there. We needed a dog walker when I began to commute cross country each week for work. We looked at every doggie daycare in San Francisco, only to be horrified by their lack of structure, pure filth of the facilities and care givers who were not trained in any way. Jen is the complete opposite of this. I found Jen through a couple I met at the Verizon store who had a very happy puppy. When I asked them who walked their dog, the couple couldn't stop praising Jeanette, her trustworthiness, love of dogs, and complete dedication to all of her little fur babies. I called Jen to see if we could meet, and she promptly offered to come to our house the next night to meet Miss Lucy. Without even having a conversation, we knew immediately that Jen would be the right fit. Our dog Lucy, a Tibetan Terrier, is quite aloof. She is friendly and vey social with dogs, but as for people, she sticks close by my husband and I. However, when Jen arrived Lucy ran right up to her and sat in her lap. She won't even sit in MY lap!!! Jen is more than just our dog walker. She is a friend and a part of our family. She has taken time to not just walk Lucy, but also train her to be a perfect off-leash dog. Jen has a deep love for animals, and is well trained in how to manage a group as well as pups in a one on one situation. She keeps our dog safe, loved and very well mannered. And beyond all of that, Jen is the kindest and most DEPENDABLE person I know. She arrives on time and takes Lucy out for great adventures. Lucy comes home tired and happy every day. And I love seeing Lucy with all her pals in the photos Jen sends. In fact, I have often told Jen that she should be a pet photographer on he weekends In addition to Lucy's daily adventures around town ( she has an awesome life), we have also boarded Lucy with Jen for several nights. Lucy never wants to come home after a fun weekend with Jen and her pups Scout and Riley. I won't even leave Lucy with my mom, but I will leave her with Jen any day. Any dog would be so happy, and lucky, to spend their days with Jen and her pups. -Kate, Marc & Miss Lucy read more

Jeanette is simply the BEST! She has been walking our very loved Golden Doodle for almost a year now. We started out with just once a week walks which were always a highlight for our pooch. He'd come home exhausted and very content. And then we adjusted the regimen up to 5 days a week as he seemed to be needing a bit more exercise/routine than I could provide...and it was like we have a different dog! He is just the happiest guy out there and looks forward to his walks every day with massive enthusiasm. Jeanette does not treat our pup as a job, she treats him as a best friend and I cannot imagine sending our pup along with anyone else. She is always great about sending along pictures of the day's adventure, and keeps me posted on the schedule which is always appreciated, and if things change last minute plan-wise she is totally understanding. All in all I cannot say enough positive things about Jeanette - she has been a life changer!! read more

Jen has been a god send since we found her. She has a wealth of knowledge about pet care and pet health, and our beagle loves her. We have just moved into the area and our beagle has been very shy with other dogs, walking with Jen and her new friends has brought her out of her shell and she no longer takes a wide birth when ever we pass another dog. She comes home from a walk exercised mentally and physically which is very important for a beagle. When she is with Jen for the full day she is content to rest on the couch all night. It's comforting to know that when you can't be with them, there is someone who takes care of your dog as if they were their own. Thank you very much Jen and Walk & Wags! read more

I am a friend and fellow walker and always admire the care and attention Jeanette gives to her dogs, clients and colleagues. She is great at what she does and I would recommend her services to anyone. Jeanette is simply amazing. My pug, Buddha, and baby Bernese Mountain Dog, Yukon Jane, simply adore Jeanette and their furry adventures. While I am stuck in the office, I see the "kids" playing at the beach on romping on field with big smiles. I have complete trust in Jeanette and the pups are happier than ever. The only downside? I think they love her more than me. I highly recommend Walks & Wags. read more

We love Jeanette and completely lucked out finding her to walk, train, and take care of our puppy, Bear. From the start she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and thoughtful with us & Bear. Jeanette helped us through the process of being new puppy owners, answered all of our questions & concerns along the way, gave super helfpul suggestions & tips, and was always available. She genuinely loves the dogs she takes care of and we can go to work each day knowing that Bear is in safe hands. Jeanette takes the dogs to the park and/or beach each day and they have so much fun and get so much exercise. Not only do they get exercise, but they get great socialization and training with Jeanette too. She posts great videos and photos too so you can get a peak at their fun day. We've also had Jeannette stay at our apartment to take care of Bear - she took such great care of Bear and our apartment. He had a blast and she provided helfpul check ins along the way too. Can't sing our praises enough! read more

We feel very lucky to have found Jen to take care of our terrier mix while we were out of town. Thank you for all the care and love you've shown my border collie. Since you have been working with him, he has become the happiest and most relaxed that I have ever seen. He's so much more social and lights up when he sees you. Prior to your care, I had a dog walker that simply threw him into a van with other dogs, took him out for 45 minutes, and dropped him off right after. He was unhappy, and unexercised. But you have changed that. He runs to the door when he sees you and responds so positively to the attention and patient, but firm handling. When he returns from a walk, he's exhausted. You make sure he has water, and is situated before you leave. These small touches make a world of difference to me, because I know that you care for him as if he is your own. I am so grateful for that!!!! I also love the photos from your outings. You have a gift with dogs, and I'm so happy you found us! Thanks a million times over! read more

Jen's love for animals and innate ability to work with all types of dogs is apparent from the minute you meet her. She is knowledgeable on pet behavior, their physical, and most importantly, their emotional health. Jen is extremely professional and informative as to your pet's daily adventures (pictures included). If you are as I am, and expect nothing less than the best pet care, you MUST call Jen. read more

After nearly a year since my last review, I wanted to note we are still extremely pleased and grateful for Jen's services. One thing I did not mention in my previous review is Jen is willing to answer medical questions you may have. I went with my lab to the vet for his annual check up and the vet told me he HAD TO extract a tooth asap. This procedure would be $800+ dollars. I was pretty alarmed to hear this considering the tooth was only chipped from chewing on sticks. I told Jen about this when I saw her and she said this operation was not at all urgent considering the tooth was still white and alive. She also said, she would keep a eye on it. Clearly, Jen is much more then just a dog walker! read more

I am psychotically protective of my miniature azerbaiijanese mountain pug and unless you have a security clearance on par with the president I'm likely not going to leave you to care for him. That all changed when I met the wonderful Jen. Not only was her personality and compassion for animals completely disarming, but my pug was immediately drawn to her. She is caring, patient, and ever so sweet to him and now couldn't imagine her not being a part of his day. Jen is trustworthy, extremely knowledgeable, and while the adventures are meant to be fun, still runs a clean, efficient, and safe operation. Her flexibility and willingness to help us when we needed her the most will not be forgotten. I highly recommend to anyone seeking reliable, safe, and fun dog walking that you call Jen. read more
