Doggy Retreat is the best pet hotel / pet day care that money can buy!!! My entire family was planning a 10 day vacation. Our main issue for traveling is usually leaving our pets behind as always one member of the family has to volunteer to stay behind and take care of the pets. This time the whole gang was going and we decided we needed to find a solution.... That is when we found DOGGY RETREAT! The most caring, gentle and fun place to leave your fur balls with. Leydi, went above and beyond during the day care sessions we tried before our vacation. Accommodations and activities were 5 stars and the communication was impeccable. Eventually my whole family built the trust with Leydi and her company to leave our pets with her for our vacation! During our vacationi, Leydi went above and beyond with the communication with each of the owners in our family. We would each get periodical texts from her with images and videos. Some of us even called via FaceTime to thank her and see our pets! All of us were at ease and had a great time at our vacation knowing our fur babies are safe and cared for. We have used Doggy Retreat several times for day care services since our vacation and plan to continue to take them any time we don't want to leave our big girl alone. I've used this doggy daycare resort several times now and I truly can't recommend them enough. The level of care, consistency, and professionalism is exactly why I keep coming back. They take amazing care of my dog and treat her like part of their own. During this most recent stay, they made sure she received her medication daily without any issues, which gave me so much peace of mind. I also really appreciated all the updates, photos, and videos--they kept me reassured the entire time. It's not easy to find a place you fully trust, especially a resort that manages multiple dogs, but they do an incredible job keeping everything safe, clean, and well organized. I have been taking my to Labs (Harley & Quinn) to Leydi for almost 2 years. She is absolutely amazing with them. The minute we turn the corner to her home they start to get excited I can't open the car door fast enough, they jump out and run up to her door and forget about us. They just want to go inside and play. They have so much fun when they are there. She takes out little swimming pools (they roll and play in the water) and toys for them almost like sending them to summer camp. She's constantly keeping us updated with pictures and videos. She's wonderful with them and you can tell just by the way she is with them that she truly is a dog lover. I wholeheartedly recommend Doggy Retreat. This is by far the best doggy daycare service I have ever used. I have a husky who is 7 years old. Many other business have either failed to answer or give updates, or they have kept the pets in cages for the majority of their stay. This business will not have your dog whining in a cage. Leydi, the business owner plans different events and activities for the dogs, meal preps, takes them on frequent walks, and even has different optional homemade dogfood formulas, all while keeping you updated on your child the entire time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this doggy retreat! From the moment we walked through the doors, it was clear that every dog is treated like family. The owner is incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely passionate about what they do. She genuinely took the time to get to know my dog and made sure he felt safe, loved, and comfortable. This was truly a gem of a place for my fur babies!!! Leydi truly loves the dogs like her own and they are treated like her own children with such love and attention. My first time I was worried and within 30 mins of me leaving was already getting videos of my boys (Teddy & Gucci) playing and could tell they were very happy in the mix. Since then, no hesitation on having the boys stay there for either one night or one week depending on my family's needs. I had such a great experience here!! The owner and family are super friendly and you can tell they genuinely love dogs. Such an incredible place for our pup! Like a Disney World for Dogs! Leydi is such a great lady who knows how to care of dogs with the upmost love and respect! Every time I drop Moose off he immediately runs to the front door with pure excitement and when I pick him up he is exhausted from all of the fun! Leydi is absolutely wonderful! I left my 2 yorkies with her when I went on a week vacation to the Caribbean and I was not worried one bit. Leydi really helped out last minute on a July 4th weekend, my boyfriend had booked with her prior and he said how she was super attentive and caring, and she really was! I got pictures and videos of my pups and they were having a blast! One of my dogs are scared of fireworks and she let me know he was fine and sent me pictures and videos. Dropping off my dog with Leydi felt as if I was dropping her off with family. I felt so comfortable and left for a relaxing weekend knowing my dog was in good hands.
