I won't go anywhere else! This place went above and beyond! First, they had availability when I needed. Second, they did a great job with my small dog. He is clean and looking sharp with his haircut. Third, I couldn't pick up my dog in time before they closed due to my baby sleeping so I paid extra and she brought him home to me! That last part I am SOOO grateful for! It's a hard time getting my baby to sleep so I hate waking him up. No other groomers would do that! Oh and they are affordable! Why go anywhere else? read more

I highly recommend this place, they are very welcoming and friendly the moment you step in and they've always take good care of my 8 year old Pug. My pug hates getting his nails trimmed and it usually takes 2 or more to hold him as he gets aggressive, but I will say that here the job its done in 2-3 minutes with no troubles. originally i was a little hesitant about taking my dogs someplace new to be groomed but i'm so glad i did. not only are they always so quick to get them in but my dogs are ALWAYS ready before i ask for them to be. ON TOP OF THAT, my left arm is currently in a sling due to a fracture and without even thinking they helped me to put my dogs harnesses on, their leashes, and walk them out to the car. fantastic customer service!! read more

Mary, the owner is extremely rude and condescending to customers. Because I asked her to redo my dog's face cut, she said she would do it but that I would not like it. While speaking kindly to her about the problem, she told me that I hurt their feelings in front of her groomers. Very disappointed with this business. I took both my dogs to Doggy Stylz for the first time last week. Hazel is part Wheaton Terrier and had hair in her ears. When I came to pick them up I was told they removed the hair in her ears because there was so much. She had been to the vet the week before and there were no issues. They removed hair in one ear and not the other after a day her ear started to smell and itch. She now has an ear infection. The pics are of the marks left on Panda after the grooming. A week later and he is still sore. I emailed them and gave them a chance to address the issue and 3 days later nothing so I decided they must not care about what was done to my dogs. I paid more than I was told at the time of the appointment and feel like what I got was not worth it. I will NEVER return!! read more

Doggy Stylz is a new grooming salon here in Lees Summit and I am glad I found them. They were very efficient and accommodating. Shakespeare, our dog, is a Shelty and he needed attention! When I picked him up, he looked adorable and they had brushed out his matted fur and trimmed up his "grinch" toes! He had a full grooming. I don't think they really know how to grooming Aussie or trim their pants and potty trail . At least my dog was botched even gouged on the underside . I will say that he seen bath well and brushed out well however. The girl with the long dark hair was very friendly and seemed accommodating however the groomer was not friendly and . did not like being questioned. I feel it's important for them to know that this is my dog I have a certain way I want them groomed and hopefully they would want to groom him the way I need him groomed so that I come back and have him groomed again however I didn't feel this was the case . read more

This places is neutral to me. They got me in last minute because my normal groomers were booked, so that was a plus. I just had both dogs get a full groom. They are pretty cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for, if saving money is most important they'd do great. Although for me, I'd rather fluffy bright hair, excellent fresh smell, and perfect cut.Their eyes and mouth still have stains and their hair isn't as bright as normal. The soap they used makes them very greasy and not soft like my normal groomer (they are regularly groomed and bathed in between cuts). The one thing that will keep them as last resort for me is the smell of their shampoo and the greasy feel of my dogs hair after. My dogs feel very greasy and not the normal fluffy after the other groomers. The shampoo smell is very musky and bad, I almost can't stand to be around my dogs. I will have to have them bathed again in 5 days when I return from vacation just to get them fresh, bright, non greasy, and fluffy. I may even re-bath them myself tonight... read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I was completely ripped off and my dogs look ridiculous! Took my 2 shih tzus to the Chipman location. The groomer did not do what was supposed to be done, she completely shaved them all the way down, they look ridiculous! On top of that they had hair all over their eyes, she did not clean their ears and big surprise they have started dragging their butts on the floor so I'm sure she did not drain their anal glands either. The owner made several excuses, would not give me my money back. So I paid $90 to have my dogs shaved. Now I have to pay another groomer to do what i already paid to have done!Huge rip off! I brought both of my dogs to this location and they did a wonderful job. I have one dog who is very apprehensive, and they did a great job grooming her. No problems with the soap or smell. My dogs nails were done perfectly. When I called to get them in a second time, they were able to get them in next day. Wonderful service. I highly recommend. read more

I cannot stand when companies are dishonest to their customers and I felt completely lied to. This is the second time I have been here, and it will be the last. I brought my two dogs in to get their glands relieved. They were both brought to the back and I was amazed that neither of them barked or whined, which one of them always does. I didn't think much about it other than she must have been good. I get home and realize that neither bottom was wet from being cleaned nor did it smell of cleaner or quite frankly anal secretions. I have brought one of my dogs in several times to other places and I know exactly what to expect when this is done. My dog's bottom was also wet and smelly after it was expressed when I went to this place the first time so it is not that they did a great job cleaning it up as to why their bottoms didn't show any evidence of being expressed. I know that those secretions are pretty strong and it takes more than just a quick cleaning (which was not done the first time I was there) to get rid of the smell after they are expressed. I went to Doggy Stylz because it was closer than where I was going and I wanted to support this new business. I know the dogs' glands were not done, yet I was charged! If this is a task you don't want to do, either don't offer it or change jobs. If any of you leave your dogs with this company and they promise to complete certain tasks like walk your dog or clean them, I wouldn't trust them. They will probably do what they did to me and that is take your money and not do what they promise. read more
