We had a terrible experience today. We've gone to Honey B's for years and always had a good experience, but after the owner change, it's gotten very hit or miss. Today was the absolute worst, and the LAST time we will use Honey B's services. They assured me my groomer was available, and that they had my preference card. When I arrived, I was informed that my groomer had quit, and they had all new staff. I reiterated my preferences (shave down, poodle toes, schnauzer face and beard). I was called for pick-up and had to send her back because she wasn't shaved down. When she came back out, I sent her back again because her feet weren't done. When she came back this time, they had cut her beard off and she no longer has a schnauzer face. I am so disappointed. After I got to the car, I realized that I paid him cash and that he didn't give me my change. I returned in, and the lady said she needed to call the owner before she could give me my change. Are you kidding me?? Worst service ever. Worst grooming ever. This will NEVER happen again. read more

Great place! I had a regular groomer that came to my house but she had to quit grooming. Sad times. I tried a store groomer and had some HORRIFIC experiences resulting in an injured dog at that place. I found a groupon for Honey B's to get the groom for $17 so I bought it to try them out. I got there and the owner was the receptionist- very friendly and loved on my dog right away. She has her own dogs there with her and the place is very clean. She quoted me a time to pick him up and said she would call when he was ready. I went to the movies and then dinner- she called while we were eating to say my dog was ready. I picked him up and found that he was happily running around playing with her dogs- he was NOT kept in a cage while he was there like most places do! I asked about it and the owner said they have some for dogs who are scared or not friendly, but for those who can be social she lets them play. She groomed him exactly how I asked her to and even put a little bandana on his collar. I went back a second time with a second groupon and had a pleasant experience that time as well. One catch- she did tell me the groupon was only for first-time clients, but she honored it again this time anyway since I had already purchased it. Both times I have gone here my dog has been happily playing and not at all scared or nervous when I picked him up. I will be back here again! The only reason I took off one star is because the groupon still says nothing about being for first-time clients only. read more

This place is the only vet and groomer we will take our doggie. We drive 45 minutes one way, up hill, to avoid a traumatized puppy. Consistent, excellent service. Staff is professional and upbeat. Facility is very clean. read more

Avoid at all costs! I tried the Groupon hoping to find a local groomer, but I will continue to drive an hour (round trip) to get my pup groomed elsewhere. He usually likes going to the groomer, but he was SO stressed out when I picked him up. The owner wasn't very friendly and most importantly wasn't very friendly to my pup either. read more

We have taken our dog there for awhile and we loved it. He seemed happy and the owner was always very nice and caring towards him. Yes, it's true what the other reviews say about the owner she is rude and not always pleasant towards people. She is more of a dogs person then a people person. And as long as she took care of our dog I didn't really take it personally when she was rude and condescending. I get it she is trying to run a business and she is not the best multitasker. However, recently we had a very unpleasant visit that landed our dog at vet's office and when I confronted the owner they acknowledged that our dog was injured. I took our dog into our vet since the vet they insisted i used was far away and closing in 20 minutes and I live 30 mins away. We just would not have made it in time. I told them the doctor said that they would check in on our dog in a few days after the incident and if he didn't get better we would need to take him in again. I communicated that to the owner and they said they would pay for the vet visit. Which I thought was nice. When I got the okay from the vet and got back to her to send her the bill, she yelled at me and was so nasty towards me. Mind you that I have always tipped her well and thanked her for her service. Save your money, time and a potential vet visit and go elsewhere. read more

More like honey don't! I took my little dog in there with a groupon and it took 7 hrs to do his hair cut. Mind you i was the first to drop off and when i walked in to check on him they were working on a dog i hadn't seen in there. First in first out #1 rule! And I watched as the receptionist lady threw a toy at another dog hitting it. The receptionist was completely rude interrupting me and talking like a mouse when it came to pricing. when I got my dog home he acted scared and had red marks where the groomer cut him. This owner is very rude would not recommend this company. I never thought she was nice but kept taking my dog there because they did a good job just not that friendly. Well they have a punch card buy ten haircuts the 11th one is free. So on Monday I come in to pick my dog up she said 55 I handed her my card she said 55 I said this my free one, not on holidays which Monday was not a holiday and there was nothing on this card to have any restrictions. She said that is not right for my groomers I said then you shouldn't do this program that you choose to do. She told me not to bring my dog back and said don't worry I won't. Purchased two Groupons for dog grooming at their business. The fine print says for new pets only. I have two dogs that have never been there but because I had a previous dog there two years ago they won't honor the Groupons. My question how can they let anyone buy two because under there interpretation you couldn't use the second Groupon because "you" wouldn't be a new client. If your word isn't good you have no integrity and that is part of the service. Boo on Honey B's....plenty of choices for dog grooming avoid this place. read more

I bought a groupon for Honey B's and ended up walking out and going to a different groomer. First of all, the receptionist was extremely rude. My adult daughter and I took our dogs in for grooming at the same time but were told that only one of us could use our groupon - "one groupon per household per day". I agreed to paying full price for my dog but when we were leaving the receptionist told us that the groupon was for a "bath only". The groupon was advertised as bath, brushout, nail clip, gland expression and ear cleaning. I would NOT recommend Honey B's. If the receptionist is that rude to people, I would hate to imagine how rude she is to the dogs. read more

I love Honey Bs! The staff are super friendly and you can tell they genuinely care about your pets as if they were their own. My 85 pound HYPER husky-golden mix came home smelling so good, absolutely no 'dog' smell whatsoever. In the summer when she gets shaved down, they also do such a great job...especially considering how much fur my dog has ( A LOT). Nothing but praises from me! read more

I purchase two Groupon's for my two smaller dogs. I was refused being able to bring them in on the same day. I was first told that it was Groupon's rules. When I double checked the rules (and I had looked at all the fine print prior to purchasing) that wasn't anywhere in the rules and told her as such, she then changed her story to her computer wasn't able to process two Groupon orders in one day. I called Groupon and informed them, they were only able to refund one based on that. However I won't be using the other! Talk about lousy customer relations and service! read more

Honey B's Grooming does a great job and consistently exceeded my expectations! They are very accommodating to my schedule and get our pup in right away. The place always looks great and the staff is very friendly. It is evident that they care about each pet that comes in and I never have to worry about the treatment our pup is getting. I've been to a few other places in LS and have worried about how our pup is treated, but thankfully I never have that concern about Honey B's. They do a great job on grooming and our pup always comes home looking her best and how I've asked. Their pricing is also reasonable (compared to some of the other places I've visited). Overall, Honey B's does a great job with our pup and gives me a peace of mind others don't. read more

It is hard finding a place to get dogs groomed where you know they won't be mean to the pets but I can drop off my pup with ease knowing she is in good hands! Used them due to Groupon, I had a really bad experience with the last Groupon groomer that I used, but this one was a REALLY good deal. I have a 5lb Yorkie Maltese who is anxious and squirmy, I took her in today and loved it! The staff were great, my dog looks great and came home happy. We have two dogs - neither which are easy to groom. But Honey B's does it with a smile and they always look great when we pick them up.

I also purchased a Groupon. I was the first one in and thought I could go waste a couple of hours & come back. WRONG. I called three different times & finally just showed up at 3:45 to tell them if they aren't done to forget it, I had other things to take care of on my day off. I also paid extra cash for a haircut. (This was in the summer) They said my dog did not like the pressure washer and obviously never heard the word "no" before and she was locked down stairs in a cage. My dog is very sweet and knows the words: lay down, go outside, lets get in the pool, and she's trained to wipe her own feet. She is not stupid or mean at all. They had done nothing in 7 1/2 hours but bathe her and I had to ask them if they would at least cut her nails. I also was not given my money back for the haircut. My dog & I live alone, so of course she wasn't used to 10 other dogs running around the room or a "pressure wash." Why didn't they just do her 1st? We got there early & they knew I was waiting to come back and get her. I wouldn't go back if it was FREE. read more
