Over the last few months, my dog had several infections from the original surgery, and my vet determined that his body was rejecting the implanted plate. We tried several rounds of antibiotics to no avail. I finally arranged for Dr. Fields to see him to evaluate him and remove the plate and screws. Today, I dropped him off for this surgery, and it was truly a day filled with concern for my dog and compassion and graciously generosity for the work they did, how the kept me updated throughout the day, and just overall how they treated me and my pup. I am forever grateful. I know there were some new people, but the staff that worked with me previously came out to greet me and welcome me, and they were INCREDIBLE. One came out to share how her dog had gone through the same and gave me tremendous hope that my boy will be running again in a few weeks without the pain he's struggled with for months. I hope I don't need their surgery services again, but if I do, and am confident I will feel good about returning.

I adopted a small yorkie from Kathy @ Camp Merry Sunshine out of Bonifay Fla. back in 2016. The…read moreyorkie was 8 yrs old. I paid $350 for the adoption fee. Most the dogs there outside had no water or any cover to get out of the heat/sun. The house, where she housed the smaller dogs, smelt extremely bad. The little Yorkie was severely malnourished, dehydrated, peeing constantly which meant she probably had a UTI infection and her spade sight incision was extremely red and becoming infected with sepsis. So the next morning I took her to my vets. I had them take a complete blood panel work-up, x-rays, urinalysis test, ect. to see what all is wrong with this sweet dog. Her test conclude that she is indeed malnourished, badly dehydrated, severe UTI infection and severe sepsis infection. So my vets kept her over night to hydrate her via IV and give her heavy antibiotics intravenously. The vet said he was very worried that she may not pull through the night or weekend. That's how sick this sweet dog was. She was on the brink of death. She had to have emergency surgery to clean the sepsis. All her other organs attached to the suture from the botched spade. I had to force feed her to get her to start eating again. Come to find out, Kathy had 3 cases against her in the courts for such bad practices with her dog rescue. As a Rescue Center you failed this sweet dog and many others, and in the eyes of the law this is Animal Cruelty. I can't even imagine the other countless of dogs in her care that has been sick and sold to others who only wish to love and care for their new pet. I do NOT recommend anyone adopting any of the dogs she has as she does not give adequate medical care and adopts out sick dogs. Deb P.

I dropped sassy off at 9:15am was told they would call me when she was read. They called me at 3:30 said she would be ready at 5:00pm. when I got there at 4:45pm I only saw one girl clipping a dogs nail. She said I owed 65. something I paid her. When she handed me Sassy I looked at her paws she said did they not cut her pads and I said no they didn't. She took her in the back room I thought she was cutting them WRONG she didn't. Her nails weren't cut either. I asked her did they even give her a bath she said yes Wrong!! She looked just like she did when I took her in there except for the hair right below her eyes had been cut and not good. I think when she took her in the back room that's what she did. There was another person in there picking up his dog so I thought I would just call the owner the next day and explain what happened . I called two days in a row asking for a call back no call back. My groomer is retiring and I was just looking for a new groomer!!!! Just thought the owner should know what's going on there.
