I always enjoy stopping at this pet store for a little something special. My local store closed and so when I want to get a treat for my dog I usually stop here, or at another location. They have a decent amount of the fresh "cookies" but they also have a large assortment of bagged treats including many locally sourced options. The staff is nice and, again, love the variety! The prices aren't bad either. The only thing I don't like about this location is the parking lot! It gets very crazy especially during holiday season. read more

Excellent service and a full range of dog and cat products (one side of the store is for cats and the other for dogs). Bring your own bags - they charge .10 cents for a brown paper bag. So glad they carry Nulo and Zignature brands. My dog loves them. read more

Never have I been in a store that was so unwelcoming than this particular, Dogs & Cats Rule. I've been to this location four times and have decided this fourth time will be my last. The employees act like you're bothering them, as they don't even make eye contact with you. And, when I paid, I have never received a "thank you". The store is way too dark and definitely has a cold, unwelcoming feel. There's no one on the floor to help customers. If you want help looking for something, you are subjected to asking the cashier for help . Again, you are greeted with that "why are you bothering me" attitude. I actually found myself saying, "sorry" after asking for help. I despise chain stores and always shop local. I hate to say it, but I'm actually treated better in big-box pet stores than I am here. Managment really needs to make some changes. I'd start with a simple, "hello" and "thank you". Oh yeah, and turn the lights UP!!!! read more

I'm a big fan not only of this store, but the men and women who work there. Always helpful, insightful and welcoming, this has become my go-to pet store for quality products AND service. They aren't the cheapest pet store, but they have the best range of products, they understand their customers and they train their staff extremely well. Coming back here to sing their praises. I went in today after a sleepless night with my sick pet. I spent all night monitoring my cat, and called every emergency vet in the area. Unfortunately, our local emergency vets are overwhelmed and understaffed at the moment - so I was t able to speak with them or get the help I needed. Needless to say, I was very worried. I waited to speak to Vince - who may either be the owner or manager. He is simply the best. Not only was he incredibly knowledgable - he's also just an empathetic listener. I can't even express how much of a relief it was to just have a conversation about my worries and hear some feedback. I know that they may not have all of the answers - but they genuinely try to connect and help. They won an unwavering support from me today. read more

I have been coming to this store since it opened. At least twice a week. They have a loyalty card you can use, buy 10 bags of natural balance dog or cat food, get the next one free. Well, I have bought at least 6 bags, that they never apply to my loyalty card. I even drove home, found a receipt, drove all the way back, so they would give me credit. Imagine to my surprise, the gentleman that told me he applied the missing bags to my card, and he lied. Made me feel like a fool. I will never return to your store. You make people feel like they are stupid. Well, I just went to P and A and bought the same products for $3.00 cheaper. Yeah, dogs and cats rule, but not the humans running this store! read more

Vince and his staff have been so compassionate and helpful in finding the right dietary solution for his needs. The staff are so knowledgeable about animal nutrition and holistic remedies (more so than the old vet I used to go to, who never mentioned one thing about diet when it came to my cat's asthma)!
