This place is ok. We come here to buy Blue Buffalo dog food for our Siberian Husky. They have what we need and the price is pretty good. The bottom line is if you have a dog, food is a necessity. They have a good selection here and the availability is good. read more

Customer service is good , store is clean , prices are good . Not much to say on a pet store

I went here on Saturday, June 15th to purchase chicks. This was my first...and last time I will ever shop here. It was pure chaos. The chicks were supposed to arrive at 9:00 AM, but the delivery was pushed back to 10:00 AM. They decided to hand out numbers to people as they arrived to ensure a first come first serve experience. I greatly appreciated that, as I was one of the first to arrive. That is where the good experience ended. Despite asking for a price sheet, they refused to provide them until right before the chicks arrived. Smart thinking on their part, as they were ridiculously priced at $5 per female. If I hand't waited for an hour, I would have left. Then, when they brought out the chicks, they did not follow their number system that they were so insistent on upon arrival. Furthermore, there were multiple breeds in each tub....and the staff did not know which breeds were which. Thank goodness I had experience with chicks and knew what I was picking out. Many of the girls that were working there were rude (one older gentleman was so nice and kept checking in with people - I want to thank him for that) and I was so disappointed with the whole experience, as were many other customers I spoke with that day. I went in here to pick up some food for my pup. I'd say that the prices are a little higher, but again, the price you pay for supporting a local store! I bought a 24lb bag of Blue Buffalo Wilderness Grain Free puppy food, and it came to $64. Which is about $5 more than I would pay at PetSmart w/o a coupon. I found the employees to be very friendly, but I really only encountered 2 of them. read more

I went into this place with high hopes that I found great pet store because of the cute horse manikin outside with the adorable bunny cages placed in the front. To my dismay, the people working there were terribly, terribly rude. Not friendly, no eye contact, and the staff acted like they didn't want people shopping at their store because they were too busy doing nothing but swiping on their phones and talking amongst each other. I've been to shops with unfriendly staff before, but this experience was so bad that I personally felt that I needed to give a review. Go to PetSmart or the pet isle in Giant....but whatever you do...don't go here! read more

People are terribly rude went in with my two young kids and two dogs and supposedly one of dogs pooped on floor and girl all of 16 made really rude comments to me I didn't even realize and till this day still don't think it was my dog. I was just trying to get my dog groomed. Never go back go to accent on animals in giant shopping center nicest man!! read more

I don't go here anymore........the wild bird food selection was fair, and very expensive, as are all of their items, compared to other stores. On chick day, I pointed out a chick in distress, and the young help couldn't have cared less! The staff at the check out counter are NOT friendly......a very bad experience. read more

I can't understand why there would be any negative reviews! I have been going here for years and it has always been clean, well stocked and the people have been very friendly. I just checked in because I'm headed to get my dog some treats. They had what I wanted when others did not. read more

I think this is one of the best pet food stores anywhere. The people are really helpful and I like the atmosphere. I wouldn't shop anywhere else. The manager there (with the long hair) was super helpful when it came to recommending the best food for my dog with issues. They also have an extensive selection of products for my chickens inlcuding stuff I haven't seen at other places. read more

Disappointing. I have been a customer 17 years. They are exceptionally rigid about their coupons. I wonder, "why be so rigid"? The point of a coupon is to get a person into the store. I went today to buy dog food, not realizing my coupon does not activate for a few days. They would not honor it. I called later and explained that I always prefer to Shop Local, which is why I make purchases from P & A, where they generally do not have the lowest price. I could easily find the items cheaper on the internet. The woman on the phone was nice and indicated I should come back in and they would honor the coupon (we are talking $5.00, only and it wasn't about the $). I went back in, handed them the large bag of dog food and the coupon and this time she said well, we can't honor it now, but we can honor a different one which she was inputting, but she said I needed to purchase more items to activate this coupon to get to a certain dollar amount. I said seriously, I have now been here twice. I could have purchased this on line, for cheaper and had it delivered to my doorstep. I am a 17 year customer. Is this the way you want to treat good customers? So be it. I walked out. Bought it on amazon and saved 2x the amount of the coupon. Needless to say, I will never make a purchase from P&A again. doggo heaven. excellent treat and toy selection! contrary to what some have said here on yelp, I find the staff to be very helpful, and the prices to be quite reasonable, especially for the quality. my dog is capable of destroying literally anything with his chocolate bear trap face, but we always come here for the indestructible elk and deer antler selection and have had a lot of successes. Love this store. Great selection of Fromm dog food and love walk in nail clipping. They also have nice selection of dog treats.
