My son recommended this place. They are quick compared to other places. They actually focus on their puppers. When I went to pick up my dog the groomer had to get him from the back. When she was in the back the receptionist picked up the dog getting groomed and hugged him and gave him love so he wasn't afraid when he was waiting for his groomer to come back, that says a lot. They are kind.

I took my dog to get his nails done here, they were super amazing with him. He is definitely not easy going. He wiggles, cries , and worst of all he poops everywhere when he gets scared. Luckily everyone here was super understanding and worked quickly. His nails look super awesome! I'll definitely be coming back.

Dogs Etc is absolutely amazing!! First off the receptionist Mandy is ALWAYS so friendly and caring. Every time I've gone in she always looks so happy and is all about her customers which i love and she really cares about the dogs. Now for my groomers, these ladies are literally the best. Saray is a miracle worker and she works so hard and it shows in her work. My dog Kaia had a lot of matting and she's a husky and she took her double coat and totally transformed her from looking like she had been on the streets the last 2.5 months into a soft fluffy little princess! Priscilla was my groomer for my other fur baby JoJo and she was absolutely great! I love how she put her own little twist to making JoJo look like a little baddie! She did Ombré colors with the pet friendly dye on my dogs tails and it came out so unbelievably CUTE! Both of these ladies are amazing at cutting and styling dogs and you can tell they love what they do and really care and work as a team over there. It's so hard to find a trust worthy groomer anywhere because you never know with places but this place i can fully say i trust and my dogs are always happy which is more than anyone can ask for their pets. Thank all you ladies for taking such great care of my babies every time!

We love taking our dog, Waffles, here to get a full groom. Waffles has a good time and he never appears scared or nervous when we drop him off. Waffles always looks so adorable and fluffy afterwards (and he smells so good)! The groomers always do an exceptional job and they are great at communicating what has been done. We adore all the staff working here. Everyone is always so friendly and cheerful!!

We have 2 senior pups. One we started fostering in July. (Foster fail I should say). He's been horribly mistreated before we got him. So grooming him is extremely difficult. He's a grumpy and scared guy. They are so good with him and he looks fantastic! Our other dog is 14 years old and blind with a heart condition. While he's not thrilled to have his face trimmed they treat our dogs like family.

I've used them twice and just 3 weeks between for all my golden doodles. This establishment is very professional, clean, great customer service and fare pricing. You get a real sense of family with them and we will definitely be bringing my dogs back again!!!

I called a little after 9 and was told if I could make it in 15 mins they could trim my dogs nails. I made it in time and had a wonderful experience! The stylist was friendly and amazing. Both my dogs did super good and had zero anxiety. I'm for sure going to book a full grooming once school is out. read more

I truly love this place. I've taken both my dogs here and I'd say the majority of the time I'm very satisfied. They always add a little bandana or other accessory, perfume, and treat them well. All the staff members are so sweet & truly care for each pet. Nicholas is the best hes careful with any issues my dogs have and super helpful. :) read more

UPDATE- so one of the owners .Tracey, called me back to apologize for the way it was handled and said I could bring my dog in to get groomed. Tracey was very nice. She said the person that called me was new and didn't quite know the policy. That person was indeed very unprofessional. So we took her in and now regret it because Amanda did a terrible job. See picture. She's an Maltese and is looking like a min pin. She's never had such a awful haircut like this before. I'm not sure what has happened to this place. Very disappointed! I have been going there for years. Today there was a miscommunication with an appt and we were late (20 min) They turned us away and did not take my dog. And it's the holiday. Terrible and WILL NOT BE GOING BACK OR RECOMMENDING read more

Everything about this establishment is great. The staff are always friendly and they are wonderful with my 13 year old house hippo. She has very thick nails and they grow so fast! Other places I had taken her to just "did the job" with no real regard to - is my furbaby ok, will it or did it hurt her etc. But the staff here took the time to figure out how to not upset or hurt her. They put her in a hammock thing and she just relaxed. Sure I'm sure it bothered her a little but that's because her nails are so thick. But it didn't hurt her like other places during or after. The staff is sweet, caring and gentle and I appreciate them. read more

This place is AWESOME! I just relocated to the area and needed to find a new groomer for my dog so i tried this place since it was so close to me. The girl at the front desk was super friendly and sweet, i took my corgi in for a bathe and brush and the price was a steal for everything it included in all honesty and he came out looking so handsome! I took my husky to another commercial groomer 2x for a de-shed and ended up with a matted undercoat instead. I brought her to Dogs etc and it took 2 visits to get her back to fabulous, but they did it!! They are a little pricier than other groomers but if you want it done right the first time, bring your fur baby here. read more

Took our Boston in yesterday for a nail clip on walk-in. They were grooming a lot of dogs but took a few minutes to clip (and buff down) her nails. Buffing the nails down is a big deal rather than leaving them just clipped and ragged. Nice people took care of my little girl and I will be back for her. read more

Every time we bring our dog to get groomed we always end up paying way more than quoted and told how difficult his hair is. I always feel a little shamed especially since I make an effort to brush him once or twice a week! But this was not the case in bringing our dog in to Dogs etc. He got a bath and sanitary trim and Debbie really kept him looking as his Aussie self! When I told my husband how much they charged he couldn't believe the cost as we've always been charged so much more by other groomers. They warned me they were busy when I dropped him off but he was done before I expected. Really appreciate the good customer service and fair pricing. Our pup will definitely be returning ! read more

Meet the Business Owner: Faye P.

Faye and Basimah (Owners) have maintained a deep love for animals and owning a business since childhood. Their journey with Dogs Etc. began as long time clients. Faye and Basimah acquired the shop in 2022. Along with the business's incredible team of groomers/bathers and their manager Nadia, Dogs Etc. operates with the same love and passion that its' original founder did. This Dog/Cat Grooming facility has a diverse and highly experienced staff who cooperatively maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming experience for our pets and clients.

I LOVE Dogs, Etc. I take my Bouviers, my Border Collies and my little Yorkie there. They do excellent grooming work. They are not only friendly but they know a lot about dogs and tips on food, and care. Bonnie, the owner, is very nice and personable, and always takes time to say "hi" to me when I come in. There is a good reason why they've been in business so long! They also offer teeth cleaning maintenance, which is really nice, and have a photographer come in every once in a while for holiday occasions. My dogs used to hate to go to the last groomer I went to in Palmdale, and they love going to Dogs, etc., (and I just thought it was they didn't like being groomed). But they are treated so well there, and Bouviers aren't easy to groom, and they do a fabulous job. Denna is my personal groomer there, who is an artist when it comes to grooming. But if she isn't there, the other groomers fill in very nicely. I drive a long way to go there, and I highly recommend them to anybody who wants their dog taken care of in the best way. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Priscilla Mendez. She did an absolutely excellent job and treated my puppies with such kindness, patience, and care. It was clear from start to finish that she genuinely loved animals and takes pride in her work. Not only was the grooming beautifully done, but the thoughtfulness and compassion shown throughout the appointment made all the difference. She took the time to ensure my puppies were comfortable, listened carefully to my requests, and paid attention to every detail. My girls looked amazing and came home happy and relaxed. 5 stars all day long! Been bringing my maltipoo for years. This was the first grooming shop my dog wasn't nervous to return to. The staff is kind and respectful. You get to talk to the groomers directly about what you're looking to get done. I see Hannah regularly, but honestly I would trust all of them. It's obvious how much everyone in this place loves animals, the talent is a bonus. I now have 3 animals! I bring my maltipoo for bath & clean ups in between grooming. I just got a kitten that I've been bringing for nail trims every 2 weeks. I also rescued a long hair chihuahua/dachshund mix. My rescue sheds like CRAZY. I've noticed just bringing her 2-3 times a month for a bath helps tremendously. Can't see myself going anywhere other than Dogs Etc! read more

I took my dog Maurice here for the first time to be groomed for summer. He is a Shih Tzu, a little on the thick side lol and his hair was long over do for a cute. Drop off was easy and the shop was clean and cute. The groomer was nice and did such a great job trimming his coat for the summer. She square framed his cute little chunky face too. Good that way over priced. For a puppy just to get a sanitation cut should not be $70. Yes, nails, trimmed paw pads and the sanitation butt cut around the eyes bath blow out. So for a full grooming I'm guess would be $120+ he's only 8 pounds read more

I am beyond disappointed at this groomer and business. We live in the neighborhood and I started taking my dog here a couple of years ago. The last time I took my dog, a few months ago, I thought nothing of it. When I came to pick him up, I was told my dog bit a groomer. They said it was bad and that my dog was banned for life. First, my dog has never bitten anyone. He is the sweetest dog but if he got hurt while getting groomed, that would make sense. My dog was returned to me limping. When I called a few days later about my dogs injury, I spoke to the owner. He accused me of bringing an already injured dog to the groomer. He was not limping before the groomer. He went on to tell me it wasn't his groomer. I took my dog to the vet (which I paid for) and they said it was likely a nail cut too close or at the nerve. Found another groomer and have not had a single issue since. Any pet groomer who refuses to take responsibility is not in it for the animals. Harming my pup and then banning him was totally uncalled for. Go at your own risk! Update 5/14: while I appreciate that the owner suddenly is saying all the right things, this is not who was refusing to take responsibility on the phone when I called about my dog limping. You did not want to even consider your groomer did anything and yes, 2 younger girls were working when I picked up my dog to tell me that he "attacked" your groomer and could never return. I told you this on the phone. You must have selective amnesia. My dog is the kindest sweetest dog who has never attacked a human nor another dog. So you being the nice concerned owner now is too late.

The guy at the front desk he doesn't know he just answers the phone and books appointments. They trimmed her face completely crooked. It looks like she just sat there till the last minute and they just cut her face. She looked exactly the same as she did going in. I drove all the way from downtown LA. Nice people. Lame service. Never again
