Really enjoyed stepping into Dogue! Yes, it's a little pricey but you're getting something you can't get elsewhere. These aren't just treats, they're works of art! It was heartbreaking to see my dog eat it so quickly, but you could tell these are very high quality. Plus, the owner is super nice. I even got a bunch of recs and feedback for the area while I was looking at neighborhoods to move into!

@Mapleaussiedoodle and her friends absolutely loved their time here celebrating doggo frensmas! It was all of our first times and the shop greets you with a cute water bowl outside with cucumber slices. The space inside has a couple round tables, rattan chairs and a curved leather couch. The pastries were beautifully displayed and labeled with the kind of protein it was. The own beer nicely described them and told me that the antelope was the most similar to lamb since he understood that dogs may have upset stomachs from eating new treats! He was also understanding of all the barking going on with all the dogs so that was also a relief! I can't tell you how it tasted, but based on how quickly the dogs all ate it, it was scrumptious! And the dogguccino is a must order! It's so pretty and maple couldn't get enough of it. I got her the red rose which has antelope heart, beet root powder, cream, and gelatin. Echo had the spirulina sphere and he literally inhaled it in one go. Highly recommend bringing your dog to try this pawtissere, you won't regret it!

To celebrate my baby boys 2nd birthday we went here with his best friend! Didnt have reservations cause I was under the assumption that it wasn't possible but the owners told me that they do have reservations available now. So yay! Maybe next time when we have more doggos. Birthday boy loved everything about it and his bff who is a picky eater only didn't eat the one dish with the chimken and nori. And we were able to split the menu for the doggo because we weren't sure if his bbf would eat some of the dishes. We also got the Bonito cake which consist of Bonito flakes, liver and spiralina for the doggos to eat there. And got the golden cake, red rose and the goat cheese log to go for his sisfur at home.

For Tater Tot's first birthday, I told my then bf (now ex) that I made rezzies at a Michelin star restaurant that was offering an exclusive Tasting Menu for Dogs. He laughed, "Tater likes sniffing stinky butts with dingleberries...will he even care about a $150 meal?!" I kept a straight face. He then said, "Ohhh, you're serious...OK, we can go since it's for Tater." OFC, I was kidding because there was no such thing then. Welp, pass forward seven years later... There's a new café for dogs called Dogue, where your furkid can enjoy a bougie Tasting Menu crafted by an owner-chef that's classically trained in French Cuisine! You can scoff at me but the pet industry is a multi-billion dollar business and Americans spent over $120 billion dollars on their pets last year. And, SF has more dogs than kids, and some of us spend more money on our dogs/pets than ourselves so there you go. TT is coming for that Tasting Menu soon but first, the pawtisserie! M E N U * Seasonal Pastries: $15 each: https://tinyurl.com/4ver289j * Dogguccino: $4.95 * Bespoke Raw Meal Plans (price depends on size of dog) * Array of housemade single ingredient dog treats; e.g. tripe, mussels, trachea, etc. The Tasting Menu for dogs is available on Sundays only. No rezzies; first come, first serve. Other items available for purchase: collars, leashes, bowls, grooming items, and apothecary. P A S T R I E S * Red Rose w/ pastured cream, wild antelope heart, beet root powder, gelatin ($15): https://tinyurl.com/5n84vx8w TT enjoyed this at the café - I had a cute video clip of him devouring the pastry but yelp won't let me upload it. The outer layer had a spongy foam texture with a coin-sized centerpiece which may be the antelope heart? He's fed goat milk kefir and greek yogurt every day so I thought he would be ok with the cream. However, he was gassy from eating the entire thing. My fault so it may be a good idea to feed your dog a smaller portion to start. * Green Spirulina & Pulled Pork w/ pastured cream, green spirulina, forested pork shoulder, raw unfiltered honey, organic lemon ($15): https://tinyurl.com/nnrj8kfj I bought this second pastry to bring home for TT to enjoy the next day. The outer layer had the same spongy foam texture but this one was filled with pieces of pulled pork: https://tinyurl.com/bdzh8mbc. S E R V I C E Polite. A M B I A N C E Casual-chic with ornate chandeliers and a handful of tables for your dog to dine at. YAS, your dog can sit on the chairs and the banquette bench to enjoy their treat! P A R K I N G Difficult street parking. Overall, Dogue is a nice addition to the city for furparents who wants to spoil their furkids. Updated review to come when TT revisits for their Tasting Menu!

Dogue brings fine dining to your pooch! S-paw-tacular find +'s: + Pawtisserie for pups. The refrigerated section showcases some Michelin star worthy designs of dog cakes that look simply too pretty to eat! Lowest fat options are the Petit Gateau (lightly cooked organic chicken breast) and Blue Spirulina Eclair (wild antelope heart). The designs are best viewed in pictures than in words. + 100% organic. Pastries are handmade by a professional chef who was trained in classical French cuisine. + Patient service. I might have slid into the store before the designated opening hour and Dogue was more than gracious to allow me to browse while they did last minute touches to setting up the store. Also Dogue was very patient to explain all of their offerings and to listen to my concerns about my dogs' diets. + Raw. Check the corner refrigerated area where packaged meats of raw protein abound: duck, guinea hen, rabbit, quail feet, quail heart, duck neck and more. + Sleek packaged proteins like green lipped mussels from New Zealand and grass fed beef trachea rings are some of the items available in the dried goods section. + Not just food. It's a place to dine for your pooch. Your furchild can snag a seat perhaps without a reservation. + Retail options are staged on a wall space. Leashes, collars, bowls, and etc. are available + Custom order cakes for the larger sizes are available. Give two days' notice. These works of art take time and care. Check the website which has a great story of how Dogue was established. The founders are dog lovers (not just dog owners) who love to feed their dogs the right food for their health. Note some dogs may not find everything will suit their tummies. For example, a dog needing a low fat diet may need to steer clear of the dog cakes given the cream content. Do your own research to ensure what's right for your dog--now that's in vogue even at Dogue.

Dogue is a very unique pet store -- if you're looking for somewhere to go all-out for your dog, this is the place to do it. -- Services -- I visited with my dog to grab them a special treat for their birthday. They have a wide selection of freshly made treats for dogs, which look like intricately prepared pastries. These treats come in a variety of meat types, so you can always find something that your dog will like and that will work with any allergies they have. These treats are around $20 each. They also offer a weekend brunch with a multi-course meal for dogs and custom meal kits. There was one person working there and they were very nice to both me and my dog when we visited. He was happy to explain all of the different pastries they offer, what was in them, and answer questions since it was my first visit. -- Atmosphere & Location -- The store is located on Valencia Street, right next to Señor Sisig. The store is pretty small and casual, featuring a display case for their treats, a small retail area with branded merch, and a few small tables. -- Everything Else -- Hours are pretty limited for individual purchases. Weekend tasting menu service is also limited (call ahead). Parking on Valencia isn't recommended if you're driving.

The white chicken pastry was a hit!

If you've ever seen that Is It Cake show on TV, you will have exactly the same reaction except you'll be saying "this is venison!!??" The little cakes at this restaurant are exquisitely prepared for your furry friend using only top quality ingredients. There are also lots of more snacky items available for purchase in the store! Our little dogs tend to gravitate towards the white chicken cake as opposed to the pink venison one, but different dogs are sure to have different preferences! Regardless of your dog size, the tasting menu seems a little excessive to eat in a single serving. You could very easily get just one cake, and still have leftovers! The atmosphere of the shop is fantastic, with big open doors and lots of light. You are sure to have lots of people walk by and look at what is going on! Definitely a special moment to share if you have a dog or know someone who does.

Dog food reimagined!! As someone who loves fine dining, you can't imagine how excited I was when I found out this place existed. A tasting menu for my dog to enjoy? Stop right there. $75 for a 4 course meal, only on Sundays! I made a reservation a few weeks in advance. Of course, Benji scarfs down food...so his elegance in consuming all the pretty food was lost. But he really enjoyed it. No upset tummy the next day! The price also includes refreshments for the humans. We opted for mimosas with freshly squeezed orange juice. Delicious! Thank you Dogue for treating my doggo to such a fun experience.

A bite size dish for humans to taste - it was good!

OMG, I finally found a place to pamper my pup. :D I brought my pup here to celebrate his 2nd birthday by treating him with a pre-set 5 course meal. Each item's presentation was very fancy and indeed looked like a gourmet meal for dogs. My pup loved most of the items but short ribs were his absolute favorite! The staff was extremely friendly. They even treated us with mimosas and a bit-size tasting of a dish (forgot the name) which tasted good and we appreciated the gesture. Overall, this was a unique experience where my pup could sit on the couch and eat off of fancy plates like humans. I really hope that we'll have more of such businesses to pamper our fur babies!

Bay Area Dogue Eats! $15/ pastry $4 for pup cup I am obsessed with French pastries, so when I saw this shop I had to stop in. A French cafe but for dogs!! They have the cutest seating area, perfect for photo ops and the best looking food for the dogs. The owner/chef is super friendly and helpful. You can tell he is all about dog health and making sure everything sold is good for them. On Sunday's they do a tasting menu, the rest of the week is just walk in pastries and raw food. Most pastries have cream but after hearing that it has no preservatives and additives and the nutrients it does have, I was glad to feed to to Yoshi. I have the pickiest eater but he ate all the treats! In cafe, he had a pup cup which he gobbled up, and even ate the cookie! Sphere was Yoshi's favorite, because he's a true carnivore. There is shredded elk inside a ball of cream. Red rose was the 2nd choice, with antelope heart. His least favorite but he still ate it anyway because he likes cream is the vegetarian Golden Cake. We tried a sample of the raw food, by recommendation of the owner before we bought a pack. Yoshi was not interested. The owner was super honest and said since he's such a picky eater he probably wouldn't recommend buying it. I really appreciated that.

My kids approved!! Luobo and Yutou hadtheir 4th birthday party there!! Awesome place, awesome chef!! The food there looks fantastic, even I wanna try it. Most of all, they loved it. They don't like stuff from other dog bakeries. I tried a few. The place is unique, one of a kind. Will definitely revisit soon and let my kids try other items. See pics for proof:)

This place is an art gallery of a sort. We went for the tasting menu and were amazed by how exquisite each item was. The dogs loved the food. And us, we enjoyed a conversation with the friendly chef who knows and loves what he does.

I have been going to this particular pet food store for a while now. Why? Well... let me explain…read more.. THEY ARE GREAT! So they have this awesome special that if you buy three bags of pet food, you get the 4th FREE. AND, you can mix and match. That alone is not why I love it so much though. I like the variety (Well... my CATS like the variety), and the folks who work there are very knowledgeable about all things PETS. in my last trip I had a conversation with a team member about buying grass for my cats and I took their suggestion. I brought this little thing of grass and my cats went nuts. Just another thing to add to make my kitties happy. I've also gotten some tips on OTC stuff I can give me cats when they have some respiratory stuff happening (L-Lysine FYI) and it seemed to help! One of my girls has issues and doing great. They have a huge selection of Stella & Chewy as well. If you haven't purchased this for your dog or cat, you should. THEY love the stuff. The ONLY drawback, parking can be a challenge because everyone is going to Jolibee, it's still doable though, and I'm not taking any stars for that! Just the "quick" tip, GO THERE. Nice people, great selection, and the 4 for 3 deal is great. Plus your pets will appreciate you.

The staff is always so friendly and I love their policy of being able to return anything if your…read morepet doesn't like it. It shows that the owner really cares about the well-being of your pet rather than the profits. I love the open treat bins because I let my dog pick out his own treats. I have a 83 pound husky mix, so the bathing stations are super convenient. Although the price has gone up from the self-service over the years. I remembered paying $40 for 5 baths, you pay for 4 tokens and get one free. My partner used up our last one and this time he said he paid $60 for 4 tokens. I asked if there was a deal and the seal was $60 for 3 tokens, with 1 free. The jump in price is pretty crazy, but it saves my pipes from clogging. I'm not sure if it's something they can fix, but once in awhile the pressure from the water spout and the dryer is a bit weak depending on the station and it is not consistent. This happened to me maybe 2-3 times and the staff always allows me to switch stations after I had already inserted my coins. Doesn't always fix the issue, but the pressure can be slightly better on a different one.
