The flooring company was okay, but the installer was a nightmare that ruined my brand new construction home. The floors ended up buckling after 3 weeks, glue everywhere, holes in walls. I went through any resource I could find online and had about 5 installers out to my house to see what could be done about my buckling floors and that is how I found TJ. He took the old flooring out and did what he promised. I decided to have him put in the new flooring after much debate as he works by himself and it was about 2000 sq ft of flooring he had to put in. He did the job as promised and the floors look great. Anyone out there that wants to use advertisements or referral services think twice as I learned the hard way. Being new to the area I did not know where to start looking for an installer but I always go online and do my own research and I should have done so after moving to Charlotte. TJ is like finding gold...not only does he install floors but is a jack of all trades in the general contractor area. I finally had to contact the corporate office, who informed me the warranty only covers the epoxy adhering to the concrete, not stains. They then suggested that I hire them again to replace it!! I liked the fact he came to work, to work. Mr. Ramsey is honest, talented and I highly recommend him to do the job he says he can do. I was in business 22 years in Philly and know a thing or two about contractors-I couldn't be more pleased and will be calling him again, and again.

He re did them next week with a bad attitude, this time the floors looks acceptable but with a couple of minor imperfections. I pay him 50% of the contract and hold the other 50 % to wait that he finish it properly. He didn't finish it completely and sent me an invoice overcharging me the square footage for over 200SF. I invite him to measure them with me to agree on a total that he refuse to do. Is not the first time he does a job for me and he have to go back and fix it. There are better companies than JVS, stay away from them.

It is hard to express how happy I am with the work that RG Stonemind provided me. I had a very…read morelarge, all brick chimney that was probably multiple tons of brick leaning toward my house. We had it supported by braces, and if it fell, it would have dropped on my living area where my family hangs out. Their team knew the difficulty of this, removed every single brick, one at a time and carefully removed them, with no damage or any issues at all. Once down, RG Stonemind then completely rebuilt the chimney framing from scratch. Way beyond my expectations. The prior one built by a very, very reputable home builder in the late 90s does not even compare to the quality RG built, as I saw it going up and the emphasis they put on the structure. Then, the process of the stucco was amazing. RG Stonemind has a fantastic stucco guy, Sergio, and he was amazing in his work. The chimney is phenomenal and matches the overall architecture of the rest of the house with the other stucco around the windows. I have had just about every neighbor compliment me on the new chimney and said it exceeded their expectations when they first saw it going up. I believe RG Stonemind is more known for its stone masonry, but I would recommend them for any chimney work with the highest rating. I couldn't be more pleased!! After showing photos of the issue, they offered to repair their original work, but who would trust them to get it right? I asked for a refund for the chimney work and they've just stopped answering my texts. I obviously know they're getting them because they have their read receipts on. Very disappointing. Hate leaving these types of reviews, but people should know the type of company they're dealing with. Would recommend another company that stands by their word.
