She has created a really cat friendly kitty hotel in a brand new, clean, climate controlled [space]. There are individual houses for the boarders, plus ample space for climbing, watching birds and critters out the windows. If desired, the cats are allowed to interact with each other during Cristine's supervised play time. Our "Two" had never been boarded before, and was unsurprisingly hesitant at first, but as her week wore on I could tell by the regular photos that Cristine sent me that she was really relaxing and enjoying her vacation while we were away. We've already made reservations for her for our Fall trip in a few months. Little Lion House provides the kind of environment that we are happy to trust our kitty's care to. The 15 yr old did very well and Christina was a doting pseudo mom and made sure she got up every few hours to exercise her aching joints and when we went to pick her up she was ready to go back into the kennel to stay more nights. The 12 yr old girl was able to do all day play until she was tuckered out. I highly recommend Bark Park for boarding and we even had the girls professionally bathed for the first time in their lives and they came home fluffy and smelling so good! The puppies are socialized and temperament tested before they go home. My Bella is such a joy. She had a little bit of digestion problems when she was a puppy, but Jordan was more than helpful and gave me excellent advice. My girl is on the smaller side, but she's an absolute gem. My little Velcro girl is a perfect fit for my family. We all love her and she loves everyone. Bella is playful, loving, and such a character. We reviewed online and even went to some in person. One we skipped because play time included wayyy too many dogs (big & small) and the conditions just looked awful. And other places look like they accept ANY dog, no matter the temperament, and seemed very overwhelming. I remember crying because not only was my spouse sad that I no longer wanted to take trips because of my worries for Howl, but also because I felt so guilty leaving him, and would play terrible scenarios of his days alone like being neglected, getting hurt, etc. I made it my life's mission to find a good place to stay and after a while searching, I found Dog's Life. It was an hour away from us but at that point distance didn't matter and we just wanted to find some comfort so we drove there as soon as we could. From the second we met Star I felt a sense of RELIEF! She explained her boarding process, the fact that she limits the number of campers, and only accepts dogs that are a good fit for each group staying over. She's also extremely attentive to the dogs needs and keeps us up to date with photos and videos which I desperately needed, especially the first few stays. We went shortly after again for play camp and we're so ecstatic that we found such a good place - especially because Howl is a pug and Star specializes in brachycephalic breeds! THANK YOU STAR, our quality of life (and howl's as well) has improved so much since finding a trustworthy sitter. if anyone is considering a place for their loved one, this is it!!
