Today this very traditional patisserie still stands proud in Rose Bay. All the baking is done on site and a huge arrange of cakes, pies, sweets and breads are always too tempting to pass up. This bakery has had some impressive bakers pass through its doors - I read that famous pastry chef Adriano Zumbo did his apprenticeship here. If you're in the area then a trip to Dobinsons is a must. Like I did 20 years ago and still do today, grab lunch and head to the little beach tucked away behind Rose Bay shops. Unbeatable.
