It is important to bring to your attention my last encounter with Scott. After being a loyal costumer from day one Scott has really proven to be exactly who his reputation is across CT. My last encounter with Scott his behavior was unethical and unprofessional that has left me flabbergasted. As a long-time customer, having visited your spa since it opened, I expected a higher level of service and respect. However, on my most recent visit, I was made to feel unheard and disrespected. Your condescending tone and dismissive attitude left me feeling upset and frustrated. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness, especially considering the loyalty I have shown to your business. It all happened after I insisted that Scott show me what he was going to inject into my face after I didn't feel comfortable having pre filled syringes injected on my face, especially since the last couple times I was not satisfied with the results. Please, please, please DO YOUR RESEARCH before letting anyone at this business touch your face. I've had Botox with Stephanie before and it went fine. I went to her for under-eye filler and she completely botched my face. I contacted her after and she said it was normal to have lumps under your eyes and that it would disperse. IT NEVER DISPERSED. I had two large lumps under both eyes for months and contacted them to dissolve it and never received a response. I called again and spoke to a RUDE office manager. I asked to please see Scott because I did not want Stephanie touching my face. I was told it's policy to have the initial injector fix their mistake. Is this for teaching purposes only?! Why would anyone allow someone to touch their face after being botched by them?! I hung up. I received calls and texts afterwards saying "Scott would like to see you." Oh thanks, after fighting with you I finally get to be seen by the King?! No thanks. I've had my undereye's dissolved 3 times already and there's still lumps. It was injected so poorly that my current injector was shocked when she felt it. Please, Stephanie, educate yourself on the proper method of injecting undereye filler instead of deleting and blocking people off of Instagram out of spite. A total nightmare and a rip off. Scott advised me to get a mint lift (cost $1,000) which should of lasted up to 2 years. I received Botox forehead $600 which never removed any frown lines either. After the swelling went down its been two months and no improvement. I went back and he then advised me to get Radiesse costing another $1274.00 which is a filler injection under the chin. Waited a month - no results except for black and blues under my chin and swelling. Nothing was accomplished - no improvement/no results. Went back and was told no refunds and he was not trying to fix or resolve the situation by offering any compensation towards the $3,000 I just spent for nothing. They're dishonest and treat their customers horribly. Will be disputing all charges with this place of business. Would not recommend this place to anyone not even my worst enemy. read more

I went to Dolce Vida with high hopes. After experiencing a lump on my lip with another injector, who subsequently dissolved it, I went to Dolce Vida to correct the issue and help even things out. I had one part of my lip that was imperfect, but it was so minor that no one else would notice. My injector at Dolce Vida put half a syringe in my lips - primarily in the problem area, and used the other half of the syringe under my eyes, which I had never done before. Fast forward a month, giving plenty of time for the swelling to go down, and the un-evenness in my lip is FAR WORSE than it was before. And my under-eye filler forms a pill like shape on one side every time I smile. I called and tried to get an appointment with Scott Callahan (an injector and one of the owners) to address the issues, but was told I could only see Stephanie, my original injector again. I asked if they would be willing to correct the issues without charging me again (I spent $1,000 on my first visit for 1 syringe of filler and some botox), and they said no, I would have to pay. Please tell my why I would continue to hand over wads of money to a company that made everything worse on my first visit? If they're not willing to fix their mistakes, I wouldn't advise anyone to go there. read more

Updated review- Scott left the Tyndall effect in my mom's tear troughs. It's been 7 months and it still looks like a bruise underneath her eyes. We don't live in Connecticut anymore so he's not able to fix it. Super annoying and I feel bad for my mom. Scott should've noticed it. Big nope! The bad reviews should have been a red flag ‍. Their xeomin (was bait and switched from Botox) is junk. I later spoke to a few friends who also had poor experiences with injectables there. I was sold 30 units (24 at my regular spa worked for 5 months) and theirs never "kicked in". When I asked about this, I was told I needed to purchase more (another red flag, overselling) the manager and injector contradicted each other. Injector said 30 units would "last much longer"- but the manager said I was "underdosed" instead of being honest and correcting the issue, they wanted more money for a junk tox . Their xeomin must be watered down. They are too busy posting on social media to actually care about their clients, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There are plenty of other wonderful spas in Fairfield county. I'd stay far away from a business that is deceitful and won't explain anything. Another downfall is the owner is married to the "manager", there was no professionalism. I declined to come back for more tox so I was ghosted by the "manager" who left a snarky reply. read more

This is absolutely the best medical spa I have ever been to. For starters, they have the best prices in all of the NYC Metro Area. They have the best and newest machines/procedures. And the staff is amazing! Aside from being friendly, they are knowledgeable and honest. Not sure what other posters mean but I have NEVER been "upsold" on anything. If anything, I've been told I don't need certain procedures even after making the appointment (by Scott). I booked an IPL and Venus Viva to remove sun damage and my skin responded so well to the IPL that he advised me to save the extra money and not bother with the Venus Viva. I went to the Norwalk location and it was the worst!! The tech was very unprofessional!! The first tech I dealt with was late to see me and not very knowledgeable of her product or the office!! I went to the Norwalk location. Scott injected Botox way too close to my eyes so now I have to walk around with droopy eyes for the next 3 months. I spoke to him about it and he became defensive and offered a prescription for eye drops...not a refund. It wasn't worth the fight. I learned my lesson and will do more research before I get Botox again. Scott is a Physician's Assistant, not a doctor. His Facebook reviews are so great because you can erase poor reviews. I spoke to my dermatologist about his practice and he said he has received other complaints regarding Scott. I've received Botox about 5 other times before this and have never had this happen. DO NOT GO! I regret not reading K.F.'s review because my experience was very similar. I used a Groupon for botox and like so many I was trying to save a bit and find a new, local office. Big mistake! Lesson learned, go to a licensed doctor. My goal was to soften lines on my forehead as I've done many times before without issue. Before Scott Calahan, owner and NOT a doctor, does the injections he gives you a lengthy upsell on available botox and other "if purchased today you'll get a great price" packages. Once he saw I wasn't interested in purchasing more it seemed like he rushed to be done. I was never asked to show him which lines to focus on but I did tell him the ones near my hairline bothered me. He quickly injected a straight line across my forehead right above my eyebrows. I was told that this would give me a brow lift and I would look great. By the time I got to my car the injection bumps were way larger than I had ever experienced before. I got a swollen ridge like a Cro-Magnon man that has lasted a month and 2 droopy eyes that look like I'm a victim of a stroke. One eye is droopier than the other and when I called to complain and mentioned how the kids I teach Sunday school too asked if I'm angry at them because I look so mean I was told that maybe the kids gave me pink eye and that was what caused it. I too like K.F. (see review) was offered eye drops. I Face Timed with his office manager Katie (also his wife) who looked horrified and offered a refund through Groupon. This took weeks of multiple emails, phone calls, and has been a nightmare. There is nothing that can be done to rectify this but time. Sadly I will be excluded from photos in an upcoming family wedding and will feel self-conscious until it fades. PS I still have lines on my forehead. read more

I am very, very disgusted with this place, specially Scott Callahan. The first time that I went there, he talked me into Venus freeze for my face. I had just wanted fillers, but of course he made more money this way. It did absolutely nothing. When I told Scott that I had just wanted the look of fillers, he said "oh, I will give them to you at a reduced rate". Not very reduced. The second time, I went for fillers. I ended up spending over $3000. They did nothing, so I went to Scott. He said"just wait". After waiting almost 3 months, I went to him and complained. When I had reminded him how much I spent, and that it was a lot of money for me, he said how he does 10 a day, implying that what I spent was not much. He agreed to give me more, and different fillers, begrudgingly, but he lied about the ones that I was previously given. He told me some random name which I had never heard, and saying that it was in my file, that he had to go check. My file was right in the room! He gave me some cheap fillers that he pretended to see. Update: Scott emailed and called me Sunday 11/15 and let me know he had instructed his staff to get in touch with me regarding my droopy lids. He gave me a couple solutions for a fix until they could get me into the office. He said the office would call me to make an appointment to do some adjustments and fix my eyes at no charge. I went to this Med Spa for the first time today and met Scott who was my injector. I was originally there for Belafill until Scot introduced me to a newer longer lasting product called Alofill (I spelled that wrong) which lats 7 years instead of 5 like the Belafill. Of course these time frames are not written in stone which I am well aware of but I am all about the longer lasting the better. Scott explained everything in detail and made me feel very comfortable with my decision to get this done. He made me very comfortable with the numbing products and all I felt were a few pinches and that's it. I also get Botox for Migraines and my regular Dr didn't do a great job so Scott fixed that right up for me. So let me tell you I am THRILLED with the results and couldn't be happier! I have had other injections elsewhere and nothing comes even close to the results I got today. I am so mad at myself that I didn't go here in the first place because I feel like I wasted $2,300 at the other place with minimal results. I cannot wait to go back and get a little more done in other areas and bring my Hubby in to get his baggy eyes done and possibly Kybella for his neck.
