I like the way my cheeks and chin look, but i know I have more to achieve the look I want, but that's of no fault to charis, it's due to my own financial restraint. Another thing is that charis and the other injectors are not money hungry. They are open and honest about what will look good. They won't inject you with 20 vials in one day because they know it won't feel/look good. There is a reason they are known to be one of the best. I've previously had laser elsewhere and it worked beautifully. My skin color is light, and hair color is dark. I don't take any hormones or medications that would alter an effect. I asked the billing department and even the manager if they would please issue a partial credit, but the flat out refused. I've spent 9 months coming in, spending money, with NOT A SINGLE HAIR LOST. I asked for a credit several times and they would not honor anything. The crazy part is my best friend went for the same service, had the same amount of sessions and she also has ZERO result. Maureen was extremely quick in returning my initial phone call and gave me several options to schedule my appointment, all within a two week period. She does have limited late hours, but works for herself and therefore is flexible with her scheduling. The studio is a large one room space, divided into different areas...waiting area, reception desk, facial area, changing room, etc. It is a calm space with lots of beach themed decor. After changing into a strapless wrap/top, Maureen first did the facial which was really great...I have only had a few facials in my life, but this was one of the better ones. I was very relaxed and calm, even while we chatted during the first half of the services. Once she moved on the foot massage towards the end of the services, I was definitely in a zone of total relaxation. So much so, that I drifted off to sleep for a few minutes before realizing she was almost finished. I had a hard time sitting up and getting off the table and back to reality at that point. I was impressed with not only her skills as an esthetician, but her friendly nature as a person and as a professional. She offers an array of services including facials, nail care, waxing, and Reiki.
