As a long-time customer, having visited your spa since it opened, I expected a higher level of service and respect. However, on my most recent visit, I was made to feel unheard and disrespected. Your condescending tone and dismissive attitude left me feeling upset and frustrated. As a customer, I deserve to be treated with dignity and kindness, especially considering the loyalty I have shown to your business. It all happened after I insisted that Scott show me what he was going to inject into my face after I didn't feel comfortable having pre filled syringes injected on my face, especially since the last couple times I was not satisfied with the results. Dr. Price performed a genioplasty on me about ten years ago (10 mm silicon implant). At that time,…read moreI was in my mid-twenties. He was kind and respectful and, in fairness, previewed that he thought it might look nice to make my chin longer and larger. However, after the surgery, I was unhappy with the result, as I thought my chin was too long and wide and the implant became crooked. I also experienced a ton of swelling in my upper and midface as well as in my chin/jaw area. He was somewhat dismissive and thought that the asymmetry would be difficult to fix because of my underlying face asymmetry. Recently, I had a revision performed in Korea after looking at CT scans with a several different doctors. The implant shifted to the right and everyone agreed it was too large for my face. The doctor who performed the revision noted that it had actually slipped downward, while it typically would sit parallel to (not below) the bone of your chin. In addition to making my chin too long, I had puckering from the upper part of my chin where the recession actually wasn't fixed, as the implant had shifted downward. 7 days post-op, I have my old face shape back with the asymmetry resolved. I have a delicate, small chin that's in line with my original face, but with no recession. The swelling is way better than the first time - some in the chin, some chipmunk cheeks, but nothing around my midface or eyes that I can tell. The doctor who performed the revision attributed this to the pocket being cut too large the first time. I know that Dr. Price has gotten great results for other patients, but I wanted to provide this review as I know genioplasty is a commonly desired surgery for young Asian women. This doctor may not be the right choice if you have that profile. Edit: I hesitated to say this, but I would also encourage young women in my position to look at Asian doctors. I think part of what went awry here is that Western beauty standards are not the same - here it's considered good for even women to have a strong jaw or a mature look. As people in my community know, for Asian women, neither of those things is positive. But tastes differ. Know what you want and communicate it, but there are benefits to working with people who know our culture.

I called to make an appointment today was told Dr.W isn't taking patients, then told me my spouse doesn't need to find a new doctor, but I have to find a different one. Why do we want two different dermatologists? this is not right.

I wish we had done a different procedure to the inner thighs since they didn't get any better (they are saggy) but there's no way either of us could have known or predicted that. As for my tush, it sags tremendously so I am really bummed about that, pardon the pun! I have had such wonderful compliments in regard to my abdominoplasty, so that's terrific. Just wish the other areas were more of what I had hoped for. Either way, I wouldn't go to any other surgeon - not ever! Dr Reilly is top notch! He takes time and is very knowledgeable and caring. I had been doing well for over a year with no flare-ups, but this weekend, I developed a pretty severe case. Of course, the symptoms didn't manifest until Saturday morning, and I had an event on Sunday that I really did not want to miss. Fortunately, Dr. Cervantes was on call for the practice. I called the answering service and immediately received a callback. Dr. Cervantes could have easily told me to go to the ER and follow up with him on Monday. But he didn't. He met me at the office on both Saturday and Sunday and treated me in person. I was able to attend and enjoy my event on Sunday. Dr. Cervantes is a truly caring doctor. The office staff is equally as wonderful and got me in again on Monday to make sure we were headed in the right direction. I am truly grateful for the wonderful care I have received from Dr. Cervantes and his staff, and I cannot recommend Connecticut Eye Specialists highly enough!
