I was long overdue to finally trying this place. I also 'owed' them a visit too after getting free cookies from them at various DT Brampton events and not having followed up for a return visit. We wanted to do something that felt a bit more COVID-friendly for my sons's birthday, so we opted for cupcakes instead of cake. I hadn't planned much in advance, so I depended on buying whatever they had available. When I arrived they had: raspberry, lemon, vanilla, chocolate, red velvet and strawberry. We got all but strawberry and then brought it to the event. First, they looked terrific, but most importantly, the taste was great. The cake part of the cupcakes did their job, but icing is what defines and makes (or breaks) a good cupcake. If there was a downside, the icing is clearly such good quality and made from real cream as it started to melt as we had it outside (but shaded) for about 45 minutes before service. No fault on their end of course, and just speaks to the higher quality. They really nailed having it just sweet enough without being too sweet, and with all the intended flavours coming out and being the star. For example, the lemon was apparent and had to have been made with real lemon rather than entirely on an extract. I suspect the same about the raspberries - or at the very least they have a more natural mix for it as well. My wife said the red velvet was the best she'd ever had. We served about 10 people and everyone raved about them and many asked for the company info. You pay a little more than other places, but the value is worth it at the first bite. They also do other items such as macaroons, cookies and cakes. I'm not sure whether they have ready-made cakes as I didn't see any when I visited, but from their website they make some pretty gorgeous, IG-worthy ones. So probably order in advance for those. read more

I've been here for amazing cupcakes and a friendly face in the past, but today I got me a vanilla Rainbow Sprinkles cake from Dolcezza. Ordering was easy; she only needs 48 hours for a lot of the cakes when you order online. Anyhow, the buttercream was an absolute dream and the cake was perfectly soft with a nice bite and not at all dry. And I loved the variety of sprinkles too, not gonna lie. (Closeup of the sprinkles in the photos!) I didn't need a message, but you can get birthday or anniversary or whatever if you want. This was just so good. I had a surprise delivery from uber eats to my workplace from Dolcezza by my exceptional Mr. who knew I was having a tough day. *shout out to the Mr. for scoring an infinite number of brownie points on this one. I received 2 separate boxes with one containing a dozen chocolate chip cookies and the other with 6 cupcakes. 2 vanilla, 2 red velvet and 2 chocolate. Chocolate chip cookies were delicious. Perfect size, evenly shaped, chewy chocolatey goodness and not too sweet. The reason for the missing star was due to the uneven color. Some were quite a bit more done/browner than the others. The cupcakes were pretty terrific too. Beautifully arranged, evenly sized with the perfect icing to cake ratio for my liking. Cake was very moist and icing was not sickeningly sweet as I find most bakery cupcakes to be. How I have never ventured into this establishment before is beyond me but I would definately recommend this place and be sure to stop by in the future. read more

I decided to finally try uber eats and get some cupcakes delivered right to my door! A dream! I've never tried Dolcezza before and since they're basically the only cupcake shop in town, I thought it was time. First of all, ordering from uber eats was excellent! You track the whole process on your phone and can see exactly where your driver is on a map, just like the uber app. This lets you know how much time you actually have to get up from bed and throw some clothes on (lol).The driver was there exactly at the time stated. Good for you Dolcezza for jumping on uber eats! There were some preset boxes, but I wish I could have chosen which cupcakes I actually wanted. I decided to get the 2 vanilla, 2 red velvet and 2 chocolate 'box'. I for sure wanted vanilla and red velvet. I hate chocolate cake and would've liked to try the strawberry vanilla instead, but oh well. The vanilla wasn't anything too special for me, which is disappointing. I usually judge a place on how well they can make a vanilla or red velvet cupcake. Unfortunately their vanilla was nothing amazing. I really didn't like the icing. I felt that it was "too light". I feel like a cupcake should have a thicker icing. The cake was nothing great either. The red velvet was actually pretty good. Good taste in the red velvet and cream cheese icing was on point. This is the kind of texture I look for on all cupcake icing. I did try the chocolate just because I had vanilla ice cream on hand. I'm picky, yes. The icing on the chocolate cupcake was actually pretty okay. I only had a lick though and got rid of the rest. Chocolate cake was okay. Taste kind of like box cake, which isn't a bad thing, but denser. I would like to try the chocolate chip cookies from here, as well as; maybe some seasonal cupcake flavours. If I have a craving, I will stop by their actual shop. read more

We randomly saw this place on Uber eats and decided to explore their menu, noting pumpkin cookies as one of the treates helped us make the decision to try it. Amazing, soft moist cookies that were not overly sweet (Pumpkin and chocolate chip). The cup cake creations were a bit on the sweeter side for us, but they were fun looking and I could see our niece being thrilled to try them in the future. We shall be returning either by Uber eats or in person. read more

I ordered the cake for my first anniversary and i really wanted to be special and i spend about $95 for the cake. Cake was gorgeous by looking at it but when you eat it, it was so disgusting. The outside cream was really really bad test and inside feeling i ordered cookies and cream, but i can only see bread without any flavors. It did ruined my 1st anniversary please you don't ruined your special concussion. I would never go with them again and i would not recommend them as well. read more
