We got the assorted cupcakes. They are moist and have little flavour bombs in the middle. Everyone got a flavour they liked and this is definitely the way to go for birthdays with picky eaters. Good pick up window in terms of times, staff were helpful and emailed back, and you can park for short periods on the street. During the holidays, my employer was nice enough to send out cupcakes to all the employees that were located here in Toronto. A big undertaking considering we're all spread out throughout the GTA! If you're looking for cupcake delivery that isn't limited to just the downtown core, Sweet Flour Bake Shop is a great option. Interestingly the box said that the cupcakes were previously refrigerated. They were cowl to the touch. I'm just surprised the toppers held up so well even in the cold since some of them had gingerbread men on top and I'd expect them to have gone a bit soft. The cupcakes themselves were a little more dense than I would have liked and the cream was a bit harder since it was cold. The flavours were nice though, especially the coconut one. read more

This batch was definitely better, fresher and made with more love. Still a little dry but I'm hoping heating a tad bit will make them nice and yummy. I've become very intrigued with the Cookie Dough treat trend, and so was very, very interested in trying it out. I'm glad that Sweet Flour was near, and had amazing photos on their website. I had a cup of the Birthday Cake Cookie Dough, and it was quite delicious! It reminded me a bit of the Marble Slab Birthday Cake Ice Cream (except it's not ice cream). The scoop in the cup was very, very generous - mainly because it's incredibly sweet. They don't use eggs in their Cookie Dough, so it's 'safe' to eat, and does't necessarily need to be refrigerated when consuming (although you should refrigerate it if you're not planning on eating it right away, as it can keep for up to a week in the fridge!) It's definitely a very, very heavy treat - and the cups are 100% meant to be shared. Overall, I thought it was a great treat, and would definitely recommend checking it out here as they have a TON of different flavours and options. I randomly stumbled upon Sweet Flour while googling cookie cakes available in the city. So so happy I came across them! I ordered a peanut butter chocolate chunk cookie cake one day prior to my friend's birthday and opted for the pick up option. It was pretty cool going into the warehouse to pick up my cake, I got to walk through a few stations where they were preparing the goods. When I got to the office area, I was greeted and they located my order right away. I even got a free cookie (which was SUPER yummy). Very pleased with my first experience. P.S. I purchased a package of the cinnamon sugar cookies. I thought I was buying really great cookies at $8.99 but I found them to be very disappointing. Really love this place. I discovered their desserts when I was at Nordstrom Yorkdale. Mind you Nordstrom only sells them on weekends apparently and even if there is any at all available, they sell so quick ! I am especially excited to find out about this sweet shop. It taste so much more authentic and not processed like a lot of other bake shops, if I were to think back probably don't even make their own product but rather wholesale purchase and resell. Their salted Carmel blondie bar is to die for. Sooo sweet, soft, sticky and delicious. Their products are fresh and good portion size as well. Recently just ordered 24 bars for just me and my husband to eat I would suggest them to anybody who wants to satisfy their sweet tooth. If you like great cookies and cupcakes, this is the place to go! The cookies are beyond amazing with flavours varying from chocolate chunk to cherry almond. Upon receiving a gift of 24 cookies, I had my fair share of nibbling on each one and was not once displeased by the taste nor texture. The cookies crumbled but weren't too soft, they were slightly tender yet crunchy. Everything I look for when eating a cookie. I absolutely love this bake shop. I live far away from my Canadian family and have always struggled figuring out what to get them for birthdays, halloween, valentines day, etc. I sent them their first birthday cookie cake in 2016 and have continued to send these baked gifts ever since.
