Basically our whole finished basement had water damage. They came out promptly with equipment too get us dried out. Over the next 10 days they finished drying out the carpet and dry wall. They treated the carpet to prevent any mold. After that they steam cleaned the carpet. Their team was always professional and respectful. I also recommend the following: 1. Add a penalty clause for work going past their original estimated completion date. In our case, the job took more than two months past their original completion date at great inconvenience. 2. Be very precise about everything you want, down to number of circuits, outlets, precise trim, etc. 3. Don't just discuss any extra work that might be needed, get a written estimate for your approval. They have a $55/hour charge for extra work. Ask for an exact accounting for how the $55 was allocated. Write in the contract that all extra charges that are over the original estimate must be approved *in writing*. Our final cost was almost 20% more than the original estimate.

We had a dip/belly in our main sewer line that needed to be replaced. Molitor Plumbing was sent by…read moreour insurance company to replace the main sewer line. We didn't receive a courtesy call or heads up until 2 hours before they were coming. Some notice would have been helpful because we would have been able to save the flowers/decorative stones and notify our tenants beforehand. Adam Molitor lead this project and informed us at the end of that day that their work was done. They didn't level the yard or repack the dirt underneath the sidewalk, leaving large dips all over the yard and hollow spaces under the sidewalk. We would not be able to re-seed the yard the way they left it, and more importantly with no support underneath the sidewalk it will eventually collapse or crack. They also cracked a 2 ft section on our main driveway in the process, and when we mentioned these concerns to Adam his suggestion was for us to remove the sidewalk completely and leave that area with dirt, and "your driveway was brittle, so it was likely to break anyways". Because they did not get a permit prior to doing this job, no inspection was done after the job. With all the issues we were seeing, we decided to get the main sewer line scoped just to make sure everything was good. It was then that we found out that the old sewer line was still there and no new sewer line was put in. We called Molitor's office to inquire, and the office manager said to his knowledge the work was indeed completed. We also left a voice mail for Adam to call us back; no return call from Adam. We did receive a call from their office a few days later stating that we must have misunderstood Adam and they were planning to come back. I'm not sure why anyone would go through the trouble of putting the dirt back if they were planning to come back to finish the work. The insurance company got billed for the whole scope of work in the meantime. We then requested to have another company come to finish the work. This company got a permit, removed all the old sewer line and took a lot of pictures to show their work, and had the city inspector come to sign off on the work afterwards. They had to tear up the yard again and did not find any new sewer line put in by Molitor. We have worked with many companies in the past and we have never experienced anything like this. Not only did they not fix the problem, they didn't seem to care what damages they caused in the process, and billed for something they did not do. I would urge you to ask a lot of questions and ask for pictures and proof of work afterwards if you choose to use this company.

I had to have significant structural work done on several decks. My house is on a hill, so some of…read morethe decks are very high off the ground. I had a structural engineer develop the plans, and I asked him for recommendations of contractors. He recommended Bill Tucker, so I hired him to do the work. Bill and his crew did a very good job. The work was grueling because they had to replace all of the supports to all but the lowest deck, and in doing so, they had to dig 5-foot deep holes for sonotubes, pour concrete, replace 16-foot posts, level and square the decks, and install proper brackets. Nearly all of the work was done by hand because they couldn't get a skid steer or other heavy equipment behind my house. The work was done to spec, and the improved sturdiness of the structure doesn't compare to what was there. As with most contractors, we had a couple of snafus. Communication was challenging at first, and I learned that the work would start the day before materials were delivered. The final cost was a third higher than the estimate, but to be fair, none of us knew how many new footings would have to be poured until the work was well underway. Bill is a good guy. He does what he says he will do, and he stands behind his work. I plan to hire him again for another job.

Terrible! I called Ken for a front door lock that…read moreocassionally did not lock. After two hours he disassembled it, drilled the door hole bigger to accommodate a larger bolt he had with him but then decided he would just order a new lock. So he put the original lock back in which by now was not working at all. The only lock on our front door. Ken said it would take two weeks. Four weeks and several polite calls to him asking about his return I began getting no answers. One time he said they sent the wrong part, the next time he just forgot but would get right on it. That was our last communication. He abandoned the job completely and left us with no working front door lock. I had Freeport glass repair his mess. Poor customer service, no mask, and left a mess of wood shavings on our floor. Would not recommend at all, for anything. Kurt

There was no further damage but given the age of the roof, the insurance company's underwriters let us know we should replace it. Josh and his crew were able to complete the roof work (including inspection with the shingles off) and we are very satisfied with the work and the crew.
