I learned to swim here as a kid from 1968-1978. 2-12 yrs old. The Dollan Baths has giving me a sense of nostalgia every time I swim elsewhere. I now live in Texas and have swam at various pools throughout the world and I have fond memories of spending an entire day at the Dollan Baths. The diving boards and scary-high dive platforms gave me a sense of being in the olympics when I climbed that long ladder. Even if it was just a feet-first jump off the ledge.
