I was in and out in about 30 minutes and was extremely happy with my decision to go with Chase. I also spoke about opening a business account which I will be going soon to open. I was personally re-opening an account, depositing large cash amounts and then withdrawing large cash amounts [I'm a student trying to get her affairs in order]. They were able to help me print a debit card on spot when it was not arriving in the mail before my Hong Kong travel and provided me with tons of coin rolls in order for me to empty my piggy bank. You transfer money to meet the bonus requirements 3. They block your account NOW THE KICKER ! To unblock your account they require YOU COME IN PERSON TO A BRANCH !!!! More incredible is they only have branches around Pitsburgh PA. So they say now that my account was blocked by them (for no given reason and with money in it), they want me to drive 7 hours from Philadelphia to Pitsburgh and offer no other method to "verify me"... and no other information is given over the phone by any rep. And no other method to contact except I have to drive 7 hours to get access back to MY MONEY that they are holding hostage. We need a CLASS ACTION SUIT against these scammers.

As my fiancé and I set up a savings account they seemed genuinely interested in more than our finances, but also our story and we were made to feel very comfortable. They also made no assumptions and explained everything we'd have available to us, not suggesting anything before they knew what exactly we wanted. Honestly, only ended up here because Dollar Bank was closed but that now feels very fortuitous

Finally the gentleman who was welcoming the customers at the door came behind the counter to help. The line moved a lot faster. The teller I got was very pleasant and very helpful. I like PNC bank over all this was not the best branch, But it was ok. I would try not to go to this one again unless I was in the area and had to. I would have to give them the benefit of the doubt and say they just had a busy day and could not handle the traffic all at once.

Inside, the building looks brand spanking new and very spacious as you can imagine. In an added plot twist, there is an underground passage right beneath the building (just go down from the main lobby) where there are a series of lunchtime-centric restaurants including the amazing Istanbul Grille. If every skyscraper had such wonders beneath it, I would spend all my time beneath skyscrapers. But as it happens, I stick to being down underneath this Mellon. Parking in this area is tricky during busy times, but if you manage to find it nearby, come and check out Istanbul Grille below this amazing building. The best place to view the skyline is from way up on Grandview Drive at the incredible lookout points. And you may be spending all your time in Pittsburgh after reading my reviews, but be aware that "BNY"... Baltimore Needs You.

I was completely transparent about my history from the beginning, and they were insistent that they…read morewere able to help me. After continual promises of closings and dates, they started delaying, week after week, costing me time and money. When one of my bill payments fell through the cracks because it was scheduled to post on a day that we were closing, they denied me the mortgage. They asked me for the same information over and over, to the point where I don't even think they were reviewing what I was sending them, they were just pacifying me until they could find a justifiable reason to deny me. When I gave it to them (a mistake, but MY mistake nonetheless), they all of a sudden were right on top of their job and denied me within 24 hours. Kimberlee Hill, the loan officer reviewing my information, was inept, would NOT return a phone call (when that would have resolved all of the issues and we wouldn't be in this situation). I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE as they have lousy customer service and horrible communication skills.
