They specialized on estate sales/liquidations, which may be slightly above garage sales price tags but also oftentimes come with a piece of history. I have bought my share of books, some clothes and PLENTY drawing/painting supplies (at a liquidation sale of a arts store). The flyer you receive at home is detailed (which allows you to avoid spending time and gas surfing through a mountain of unwanted items). The people who run the show are bubbly, colorful and gifted with an overwhelming southern hospitality that warms your heart even on a cold winter day. I love love love FAB FINDS.

I was impressed, lots to see, lots to buy. When we left, we had parked in front off this place, so we had to go in. The t-shirt definitely got my attention! When we entered the older gentleman just passing the time said "Hello, have a look around." Typical of this kind of store, it was packed from floor to ceiling with...stuff. Lots of stuff! We checked it out and headed for the back rooms. This is where it changed. Room after room after room of signs! Large and small, old and older, nothing but signs. I don't know where he got all these, or how long he has been collecting, but it's amazing! Since I'm old, I recognized many, but some were too old even for me and Mikey. The economy is bad right now enough. And you're getting argued with at The Salvation Army about a price that they had on the tag and the service was not very nice either.

This is a great little market in the outskirts of Abilene Texas. I stopped primarily from the Cafe…read moresign out front. They serve a nice breakfast, they had biscuits and gravy with sausage, a breakfast burrito and other items for a morning meal, they also offer a lunch menu. This grocery is a locals type with lots of fresh produce and a everyone knows everyone feel to it. This is what America has lost with all the big chain grocery stores. I am glad I had time to stop. I almost forgot they have a daily special every day, ranging from chicken fried steak, tacos, shrimp basket, chicken quesadilla and others. I ordered breakfast platter with scrambled eggs sausage. It tasted like a homemade breakfast.
