Everything is $1 in the bins and there's a VIP section where everything was $20 which had some furniture and appliances. Some of the bins were still labeled $3 which was confusing but I think they were actually $1. I left with and armful of things and paid ~$9. Some things were well worth the $1, some were not. Apparently on the different days they charge a different price and have more valuable merchandise out. They have a no opening box rule but I don't think anyone abides by it because it seemed like they also had a no return rule. They have a limited amount of shopping carts available, it does get pretty packed and is difficult to move around especially with a shopping cart. I definitely saw people working in teams to load up their carts. The line gets pretty long too and sort of snakes through the bins so I sort of did a walkthrough and picked up some stuff and then waited in line and also did some more deep diving while waiting (would have been helpful to have someone in line while another did the diving). Was it worth the 40 minute drive? No, definitely not. Maybe if you're looking for the more expensive electronics, come on one of the pricier days, and from what I've read come super early then maybe. Definitely don't come if you hate crowds.

I've given this store TONS of business over the past few years & used to love it & always spoke…read morevery highly of it. But the last couple of times I've shopped at CTS, the cashiers randomly picked items that they decided "weren't priced right" and refused to sell them, telling me they would be repriced (i.e.higher) the next day & that I could come back for them. What?!?! The first time, it was a large bowl that the cashier said someone had changed tags on & she went in to tell me they've been having"issues" with that lately...she even unsuccessfully tried to peel one tag off the other. I really question whether such an "issue" exists...I mean, I understand tag switching can be an issue in retail, but who randomly switches tags and then leaves the items on the shelves for other people to buy?! My guess is that whoever tags their items made some sort of mistake and placed a 2nd tag directly over the first...I couldn't even tell there were two tags when I put the bowl in my cart. Funny enough, when I returned the next day AT OPENING, the bowl miraculously was no longer in the store. Hmmmmm! The other was tonight when I brought up several items including a sewing kit/box that was priced at $5.95. She rang up everything else in my order, and then when she got to the sewing kit, she looked it over with great interest then said it was priced too low & refused to sell it! Given that their pricing structure is usually 25% of what you'd expect to pay retail, and a new sewing box of this type on Amazon is $20, the ticketed price was right in line, but NOPE...clerk-lady said it would be repriced the next day and that I could come back for it. Ummm yeah right...wanna bet she is going to take it home for herself?! Not honoring their tagged prices is such a an odd and unfortunate way to do business, especially with some of their most loyal (and lucrative) customers. :-/

It may be most notable for the popular butcher section but there's also produce. Has cheap prices on many items. They prefer cash so bring some of that. A small store but it has a lot. It's not as much to choose from as the big chain groceries but there's quite a few finds. The most popular part is the butcher to get fresh meats. Basically that's the area at the entrance. If you prefer things not from animals there's plenty more in the store. Has alcohol. Last time I found a can of Crazy Cowboy for $1.99, and there's other cheap beers too. As for the produce it's not great but it's cheap. It's about $2 to get a few oranges. A few other good things in here. They only have a couple checkout aisles, and they prefer cash but that's not required. For sure it's an important local business. It's a lot better than going to some corporate chain. They're closed Sundays.

All I wanted to do was try half of it but I couldn't stop eating it until there was no more. I also tried the stuffed pork chops that are huge and tasty.

A store associate confirmed that two units were available, took my name, and assured me I could come in. Given that it was 6 degrees outside, road conditions were poor, and I was dealing with red wine stains on cream-colored carpet, I drove approximately 36 minutes to this location based on that confirmation. Upon arrival, I went directly to customer service. The associate there explained he was unfamiliar with the rental process and went to locate someone who could assist. He returned with an individual who I later learned was the Assistant Store Manager. This individual approached me shaking his head and immediately stated that they were not renting out any shampooers at that time. He did not introduce himself, wore no name badge, and presented himself in an unprofessional manner. I informed him that I had just called and confirmed availability prior to driving there. Rather than attempting to verify inventory, problem-solve, or offer alternatives, he simply dismissed me. Only after I firmly stated that I had traveled specifically for this rental and requested management assistance did anything move forward. What was most concerning is that neither the Assistant Store Manager nor the team lead present seemed to know the basic protocol for equipment rentals. In any retail environment, especially in leadership roles, managers are expected to understand core store operations or, at minimum, know how to quickly locate the correct resources. Leadership is about resolving issues--not avoiding them. As someone who understands store operations, I find this unacceptable. Managers are typically trained across departments specifically to prevent situations like this. Instead of taking ownership, the Assistant Store Manager stood by while frontline staff absorbed the pressure. It was only after I stated I would escalate the matter to corporate that assistance was finally provided. I want to acknowledge Ana, the cashier who ultimately helped me complete the rental. Ana demonstrated professionalism, patience, and competence throughout the process. I later learned she has special needs, which makes it even more troubling that she showed more knowledge, initiative, and customer service than the Assistant Store Manager--who likely earns significantly more and receives leadership incentives. Based on the way I was initially brushed off and dismissed despite having confirmed availability, I genuinely felt that I was not taken seriously, and I question whether my ethnicity played a role in how I was treated. Incompetence in leadership damages employee morale, customer trust, and sales. Customers should not have to stand their ground just to receive basic service. Had I not remained firm, I would have been sent away after making a long drive in unsafe conditions for no reason. This experience was deeply disappointing and unacceptable. Until accountability is taken seriously at this location, you will not receive my business. By the way the manager im speaking on Eric Wesner
