Stopped in for some ingredients to make dinner for my boy who just returned from a trip and wanted a special dinner for her and his girlfriend. I don't venture here often so it's not so easy to locate items, but I made due. I was looking for a sign that read noodles, not spaghetti. I had to ask lol. I didn't want spaghetti (I mean that was my choice for dinner, not theirs), I needed egg noodles. I went for a cookie and they did not look very good. Almost like they just threw some icing on them. Not common there and I love their cookies ... YUM. Plus there was a grown man with his finger in his nose IN THE BAKERY. Not cool my guy, not cool! In all seriousness the visit was nice (even if I was confused). I got what I needed and the boy was happy. Challange accomplished. read more

Do not eat the meat, fish, deli or sushi here!!!! One of most unsanitary and revolting grocery stores I have ever been in! The fish and deli smell like hell... the stink was appalling. Do they not have a good handling standard or training process? Clearly no one there has a clue. When I brought it the managers attention - he said dumbfounded, "ummmm... yeah... I'll talk to them...". I told him take off your mask a smell this place... it's smells worse than a bait box left in the sun in July! It's all bad from the fish to the meat! It's all dry on the surface, pulled back from the skin and oozing! He had No clue! In fact, where there's smoke there's fire... i don't trust anything here!!! This speaks volumes about their food handling, standards and woeful lack of awareness about spoilage. I wouldn't chum for shark with this stuff for fear of getting the sharks sick! I am calling the health department tomorrow to report the whole deli area and calling Frestival HQ. Ps... no need to write one of those... "we appreciate your comment" replies. Better idea... just handle your food, manage your inventory safely ... you're going to poison someone! read more

Awesome Cakes! We needed a cake for an upcoming party and we were so happy with the result from here! They have a great online ordering tool at FestFoods.com. **Be sure to choose the correct location!** You can upload a custom picture, choose your frosting colors and type, and many other choices. It came out so wonderful! 48 hours in advance to order online but if you call them, I think they can do shorter notice over the phone. Highly recommend ordering a cake from here for your next party! Despite the signs all over the store there still seems to be people who ignore the "masks are required" sign. No employee was at the entrance to ensure this was happening. It's pretty lax here. Social distancing however was much easier to do here. It was pretty spacious inside. The store was clean and organized. Considering Wisconsin is a "hot zone" it is one of the more well mannered stores taking safety precautions during this pandemic. read more

This company needs to take a deep look at their pricing practices. I stopped shopping here regularly a few months after they opened this location. They have weekly specials, but there's a catch: Unless you specifically tell the cashier that you want the sale prices they will charge you full price. This is intentional, which I learned after I complained to the home office. If you shop here, keep your wits about you because the sale prices are a bit of a rouse. Now I stop in only if I need a quick item or two, maybe a couple times a year. Today I stopped in and needed eggs. The sign on the display case was $1.89 for a dozen Festival brand eggs, large size. I usually shop Meijer, where my EXTRA LARGE eggs are $0.79. Then when scanned, they came up as $2.19. If you shop here, keep your eyes open. They are reaching VERY deep into your wallet, in a dishonest way. read more

We really love Fesitval! 2 reasons - their organics all natural selection is really great! Also, if you'd like a certain item ordered you can just fill out a card or speak with someone who works there. Another thing that is great is the FREE community room. We use this all the time for informative classes. Staff is friendly and helpful. Reasons why I didn't give it 5 - They cut down the meat department from when it was Speiglehoff's - Where's all the tasty specially made sausages?! (Boo!) And their prices on some items are outrageous. But when they have a sale its great! read more

I only give Festival two stars because they have a great deli. I think their pricing is very high but I will pay for the things I like in there. Greek pasta salad for instance...delish. Here's the problem that I had. A couple of weeks ago Festival had a seafood sale. I could not buy anything out of their fish counter because it stunk to high heaven!! There is no way I would buy anything out of that counter. The smell made me want to gag. How can you people who work back there stand it?! So, I just bought frozen shrimp because it was on sale and not in that stinky display case. They really need to either clean up that horrible smelling case or tear it out and get a new one. I'm very disappointed because I used to come here all the time to get fish because they had such a good variety, the best in Kenosha. Now, I see this week they have another sale on fish. This is about the entire bakery department. Came in today to get a cake for my parents anniversary. I was in a time crunch and the person who decorated the cakes was on lunch break. Andrew went to look for her but she was not in the break room. While I was waiting I had a chance to talk with all the people in the department. When they couldn't find the decorator one of the ladies offered to try and do it. Which to me was the most important thing. While she was trying the decorator came back and finished the cake. Thanks for going above and beyond to try and help me out. My parents loved the cake and it was delicious. Thanks again for a job well done! read more

Great deli. Upper endy stuff for this part of the area. PS...to the bloated bald POS that put their mini cart in between my car and yours knowing damn well I was loading...and then left it there, when the cart return was merely 5 ft away. I love Festival! The Tot Spot is a great option for parents who want to get shopping done quickly and without the incessant begging of kids. ;) Their fresh produce, cheeses and deli sections are amazing and have so many options! As to the previous reviewer who mentioned Festival only having large sizes...I've never run across this in anything I've ever purchased from them, and I do all my grocery shopping there. The staff is always friendly and go above and beyond. Family movie nights are awesome (free popcorn!), and we even used the conference room for a birthday party. I won't shop anywhere else for my groceries! read more

Blow your mind good food. What a great place to shop for food. The deli is huge! Daily specials, and take home pre-prepared foods are always good. Wednesday is sushi for $5.00. What a deal. Fresh bakery. Lots of good deals down every isle. I love this place. read more

I think they are great. Such a large variety. Yes some of the prices are too high but if you check their weekly paper there are some really fantastic deals. Milk was just$1.99 a gallon that you can't beat! I shop the sale items 2 or 3 times a week and that makes a bargain and variety every week. Plus they have a a daycare to watch your little one while you shop. If you are a beer drinker you have probably already check out their huge selection I like the pick your own 6 pack so I can try 6 different beers in one pack. If the customer service was a little better I would give 5 stars but some employees there need to review their customer service training. read more

Today I went to Festival Foods to find out that they aren't so customer friendly after all. I was in line to purchase a few items when one of the employees asked me if I would like to use an express check out. I replied with no thank you. Again she insisted I go to the express check out, that "it won't hurt." I said no again. The final time she asked me to I replied by saying no thank you, and told her I was related to the cashier and just wanted to say hello. Apparently that's the against the rules and is in the employee handbook that relatives cannot help relatives... She then humiliated both my family member and I by saying that they should know it's against the rules. Even though i have been through that same cashiers line several times before. I will no longer be a customer of The Festival Foods in Kenosha. whether or not I would have mentioned that I was related to the cashier, the woman kept hassling me to go to a different register even after the fact that I said no thank you multiple times. I am definitely shopping here from now on, especially with the boys I tow. I LOVED my first experience at this store. The staff was beyond patient with a newbie like me. I noticed a wide range of products, especially nice organic section, but also the general groceries at mostly reasonable prices. I did find a few things a little expensive, but the weekly sales.....I haven't seen better for the quality EVER. I did find it a little confusing that in order to get the sale price you have to have a Barcode on the back of the weekly add scanned at checkout. The cashier explained that it's the same as a "store card" but open to anyone who asked to have it scanned. but regardless she made sure all the sales went through as soon as I asked. My groceries were bagged AND sorted very good when I got home. They even offered to let me pull my car up and they would load in my bags because it was raining!!! But the Best Best thing of all though was being able to drop my 2 and 4 year old off at the daycare while I shopped. That's about the hight for me in a grocery store, they entertained my boys and I was able to take my time for once. read more
