They have a decent sized parking lot and you not going to park more than 100 feet away from the entrance at the farthest spot. If you want a shopping cart you have to deposit a quarter into the lock (don't worry you get it back when you return it). Like most stores you enter into the produce section. They have an actually impressive assortment with most of the produce being from area farms in the region. They even have some delicacy items that you would have to drive 30 minutes to a large chain store to get. The aisles are all very wide so navigating the store is easy. In the center is all of your dry goods. Some of the dry goods are their own brand. We have tried their rice crispy and a couple others and they raiser just as good as the original for usually half the price or better. The meat and poultry section is decent size and they have good variety. They do sell fish that is in vacuum sealed packaging. The cooler section has all the normal stuff along with the frozen food section. One thing I really like is that the frozen food chests in the middle of the aisle have glass doors on top so you don't have to worry about maybe getting products that have thawed. Aldi also sells some home wares and some outdoor things such as a greenhouse and yard box. They have the normal seasonal decorations for sale also. The prices are normally very competitive and in some cases far cheaper. One thing I did notice is that the soda and seltzers seem to be considerably more expensive. We normally get La Croix seltzers for our camper and pay around $4/12 pack. Here they were $5.55. Overall the store is great and has all your staples.

With gas prices off the charts no one has the gas to travel to places that are supposed to be cheaper. So in the long run it all evens out. I'm very happy to have discovered this store. This is a really cute store, but is big enough to have lots of departments. It reminds me of the Woolworth's stores that I remember as a kid. There are real people at the counter, who have real things to say (not off a script) and who are actually nice. They have toys, housewares, arts and crafts (which comprises a fairly large section of the store), small appliances, and even a 'dollar store' section in the back. And, prices are pretty low, which is surprising. Beiter's may be a chain in the PA area (I think there is more than one store) but it has not lost that real American feel of a good ole general store. Stop by next time you need something and don't want to wait on line, you'll be glad you did.

However, all that was gone once i saw the bakery at weis. these people are true artists. dogs, aliens, hamburgers, dinosaurs! even a nascar cake with a little car and a track! Weis had a day old bakery rack for a long time. Typically 50% off the normal price.... then the…read moreprices jumped. I still bought items from the rack. Then the store decided to scatter the items across the store instead of keeping them in one place. When I asked a clerk about it, I was told that it was a new store policy along with the comment that the items were no longer available earlier in the morning, but now the store would put items out later in the day around 2 pm to get more money from their customers. It seems that I will be shopping more at Gaint!!!

Just think of an Ollie's with cleaner locations and slightly more expensive merchandise. Muncy's store is located in a former Supermarket outside of the Lycoming Mall. The store is clean and well organized with a better stock of products (especially food) compared to the Bloomsburg location. Where this store suffers is the lack of space, as the former supermarket is smaller then other stores. The food isles are only one person wide, so if you are larger like me, it makes maneuvering hard. The checkout area is also tight and customers who look like they are in line might just be shopping. Overall the store is nice, just crowded.
