Since the expansion, I am still able to find super cute finds at this location. The store for the most part is tidy when I visit. The employees get you in and out. While some are friendlier than others, I am so not complaining because I have yet to experience any mishaps at this location. The availability of items - the customer service - the store set up - I am all for it! This store is located in a shopping center among other shops such as: New Buffet City (my fav) - A few pubs (Skeleton Key & AJ Gators) - Sally's Beauty Supply - Verizon to name a few... This parking lot can fill up rather quickly. There are at least four restaurants that surround this lot and there is a place for kids to play, Bounce House... so yeah parking can be a beast at times, but well worth a visit to this in high demand shopping center. Pretty much everything in here is a $1 + tax. If it's not $1 it's less or even tax free making it indeed a "Dollar Store." Have fun and enjoy life ;)

Having briefly worked in their corporate office, my wife is very familiar with Dollar Tree practices. She know of the best set ups and the worst as far as locations. When we walk into a store , she can tell how long a manager has been over that store. This particular store was well run she acclaimed as we walked through the door. She observed the organization of the products and the cleanliness of the store. This store did not have boxes sitting in the aisles from overstock she pointed out. Everything was shelved and in its place as it should be because Dollar trees have no back stock room. NOW imagine, she said, a store that gets major stock everyday keeping up with appearance and keeping their shelves stock and you understand what a well run store looks like. With that inside information and much more of what she informed about their operations, I was impressed with this location.

Aisles are wide enough to permit good traffic flow but can that flow can be slowed a bit due to the number of merchandise displays and boxes on the floor near the front of the store. This store offers self-checkout kiosks in addition to traditional checkout stations attended by staff. On my last visit, the store was pretty crowded with the holiday shopping crowd. Customers were queued at the checkout stations but the line moved pretty swiftly. I used self-checkout, everything operated as it should so the transaction went very smoothly. Staffing levels are generally adequate for the store. Employees are knowledgeable, helpful and efficient. There are plenty of shopping carts and baskets available for use. The huge parking lot shared with the rest of the shopping center businesses assures you will always be able to easily find a spot to park your vehicle.

Perhaps the selection is better, larger store, I am not sure, but I love it here! Great finds every single time! A bag of now & later candy (5 packs) only $1 and you get like 20 in a bag, talk about a steal! Granted, it's been a few months and I haven't seen the bag in here lately. The only downside, if it's a major holiday such as, Valentines Day, the balloons may run out, but rest assure this store pretty much keeps items in stock and the store is very tidy. The lines move smoothly on any given day. The parking doesn't tend to be an issue, but be careful crossing the street to get to the store, it's a very busy parking lot. Alongside this store, you will find, Roses, eateries nearby include: KFC, McDonald's and cannot forget about 7-eleven. If you are in the area, give this store a second look. They have difficulty with line control when there's a rush, they don't seem to delegate tasks very well. If someone wants balloons, it seems that the cashier is responsible for blowing them up! They tried to respond with opening additional registers but for the poor people who remained in the "ballon" line we ended up waiting longer than the people behind us! I feel there's got to be a more efficient way to handle larger volume of customers and maybe have a separate line for balloon customers so that people get checked out quicker.

Thinking I was going to have to stop at the new Dollar Tree near my house, located in a closed drug store, I was delighted to see this Dollar Tree on the way home from a doctor appointment. My dilemma was the need for another Giant Gift Bag similar to the one I had previously purchased. The only store where I had found them was the new Dollar Tree near me. As I walked in I looked at the spot near the entrance where I had found the giant bags at the new Dollar Tree. Alas, the Christmas bag shelves located there were near empty. I turned around & there they were, facing the opposite direction. The store didn't have the wide aisles of the repurposed drug store turned Dollar Tree at Pleasure House & Independence. The parking area was smaller but adequate. The space the store occupied didn't allow for it. But it serves its intended purpose. I didn't need to ask for service to help. Check out was easy. I was able to head home with my prized purchase.

Decided to try this Dollar Tree since it was right on the way home. Being just a few days before Christmas , choices were limited. The store was nicely laid out , not cluttered and clean. I asked a nice young Man that was stocking shelves, where I might find Christmas napkins and I was told they had been sold out of them for at least a week. I did find a few gift bags and one pack of tissue paper. My Friend was looking for an oversized gift bag which they did not have. I would try again the next day at the one close to home. A strop at a Dollar Tree is never wasted because you never know what you might find!

I feel these changes are allowing the company to order better products I saw quite a few new things today including stretch mark creams and even a matcha face mask cream They also have expanded the variety of products available to ethnic or kinky curly hair my daughters were both very excited for this and tried the Olive based shampoo and conditioner and got new silk caps for bed. We did giggle at the braids being sold but were impressed with the quality They have all the basics taxables like paper plates toilet paper tissues and even most of the cold medicine we get for our seasonal allergies The food selection is also great I love that they carry full size bottles of cranberry juice and the shelf stable milks The staff at this location always greet me with a smile and the store is pretty clean

They didn't have bread but instead they had kindness. They rang up my food and the cashier gave me entire dollars instead of exact change.
