There was no one at the counter waiting when we approached the deli and took a number, but it took us over 35 minutes for service, and only after I complained (which I HATE doing). Then 5 other people came after us and we were fuming they were serviced before us, because our clerk was brand new and nobody would help her. It was truly pathetic, and yes the manager was there. The deli manager is just cranky mean and does "nothing".

After I've made my seafood sacrifices to the food gods, I waddle over to the prepared foods section, where those buttery mashed potatoes and green beans await. I swear, those mashed potatoes came from someones grandma versus the store kitchen. Oh, and the prices? They're so good I almost feel guilty! It's like finding money in my winter coat pockets (compared to Indy). I leave feeling like I've hit the grocery jackpot! I can't help but visit them over and over when I'm on the road. It's practically a ritual at this point! And don't even get me started on the stuff I couldn't find in Indy (Marsh closed). There isn't anything fancy about this place. It's old, but kept clean.
