We came on December 31st, thinking that since it was New Year's Eve, there might be a wait. Surprisingly, there wasn't. That part was fine. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The store felt disorganized and in a state of disarray, and I noticed several food items with expired dates, which is definitely something shoppers shouldn't have to worry about. What really bothered me, though, was the restroom situation. Both restrooms were marked "out of order." When I asked about it--because two seniors in our group needed to use them--an employee told me they do that so people won't ask for the key. That's unacceptable on many levels and honestly left a bad impression. Overall, it's not a terrible store, but is it worth nearly a 50-minute drive? No, it's not. Maybe I'll stop by again in the summer if I need garden supplies--but for now, this trip wasn't worth the distance.

Yeah yeah, it's not ideal for your own children, or anyone expecting anything incredible, but the sheer amount of toys you can buy for $15 or $20 will blow any kid under 10 right out of their seat. Seriously it's a treat. Also, the food that I've bought at deals has always been fresh, never past expiration date. It's good food for cheap. if you don't mind frozen Pierogies, you can get a box of 20 for $1, it's kept my stomach company on many-a broke college nights.

And dozens of suitcases of all colors! If you need luggage you will love the variety here. I'm working in the area this week and happened to see this store which is near my hotel. The furniture is very nice and extremely reasonably priced. I found a couple of couches that I would have considered purchasing IF I wasn't 3 hours from home and IF I was driving a truck. There were men's Land's End shoes for $5 a pair. A great deal! In fact everything I saw was a very good deal. I've never seen a store like this before. A fun place to shop! Last Chance Overstock sells the things that didn't sell at other stores. It's the Island of Misfit Merchandise, if you will. (Will you?) My children had a fun time sitting in all of the chairs and couches around the store. A big portion of the store is dedicated to furniture, and the store-people are 100% OK with you and your children sitting on every couch and lying on every bed. My kids wanted to find the most comfortable couch, and they chose the one with plush corduroy that had cup holders and a USB plug. They wanted to buy it, but we live many miles away, and also, there is no way I'm inviting a couch with cupholders and a USB plug into my home. Get bent, kids. You need to look at the products carefully, because some of the things are a little worse for the wear. But for the most part, most of the items I saw at Last Chance looked perfectly fine. I wouldn't come here to find something specific, because inventory changes frequently, but this is a good place to browse and find a treasure.

On top of that the bigger furniture pieces like consoles, lawnmowers, lawn furniture... the owner is charging more than it would be at a Marshall's or TJ Maxx... $300 for a lawnmower, $350 for a console (just check out FB Marketplace). Why they aren't opening the boxes as they come in and categorizing which table they'd belong is beyond my understanding. I also don't understand why there isn't prices on the furniture, seems as if they are haggling, giving different prices to different ppl. Needless to say I won't be back. Tons of great items that are absolutely bargains from cheap snacks, even liquid death cases! There's books, automotive, suitcases, bathroom, kitchen products and so much more. It's a newer store with tons of customers taking in this exciting new place but I will say one of my complaints is that me and my wife experienced lack of toilet paper in their restrooms. Not the cleanest store nor are they as humerously engaging like their Ohio stores. Wouldn't mind coming back again!

I found useful items like silicon mat, trivets, craft supplies, pillows, and miscellaneous items. There's a giant "Do Not Open" sign hanging, but there's a box opening station with knives towards the front of the store where you can open the boxes. Many if not all the items are from Amazon, so you can read the description on the stickers to look up details on Amazon website or app. This was helpful to know more about the item, especially if the box is not opened. None of the items I purchased were damaged or missing pieces. If you come on the last day (Wed. $1), expect to see a crowd of people combing through the bins. You can still find great bargains on the last day, albeit you'll find better items in the beginning of the sale cycle (Fri-Sun). Did a yelp search for this place sincewe love thrift shops and vintage finds. Found quite a few gems here for my home decor. The prices were very reasonable in comparison to many of the vintage/antique stores in general. I live about an hour away from here but I will come back to see what new stuff they have! The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as well. If you are looking for vintage gems at reasonable prices, they are definitely worth checking out.
