Huge parking lot out front, since it shares a strip mall with other stores. The store is clean, and pretty well stocked. Cashiers and Management are always friendly, and greet you if you are walking through the store. They've recently added self-checkout, so that is very convenient when you have only a few items to purchase. Just a heads up, their BOGO deals are popular, so if you go near the end of their BOGO special, you probably won't find what you're looking for. Today, for me, it was the coffee I wanted that they were out of. Pharmacy - 5 out of 5. They are efficient and quick. I've even could make appointments online to get vaccines through them, which was super convenient. Prescriptions are ready in a timely manner, especially now that I refill them online. Deli - 5 out of 5. Plenty of people making sandwiches at lunchtime, so the line moves quickly. Flower Shop - 4 out of 5. Nice, fresh assortment. Bakery - 5 out of 5. Love how they do so many seasonal items. Sushi - 2 out of 5. This is the only department in the store that needs a re-vamp. Publix makes a big deal out of $5 sushi Wednesday. Today the only "sushi" rolls available were made with fake krab meat. All of them. Pass. Other days, the actual amount of fish in a roll is miniscule - maybe one to two ounces at best. I've compared it to the amount that Whole Foods puts in their rolls, and honestly, Publix should be embarrassed. I get the impression there is no oversight on the sushi section at all, so they get away with putting in as little as possible. Publix - change this! All in all, a great store, and I will continue to be a happy, regular customer.

I was looking for "Walmart Neighborhood Markets" and stumbled upon this gem... I didn't even KNOW…read morethat Dollar General Markets were a thing?! It's honestly pretty cool if you ask me. We go to Dollar General to pick up things quickly (instead of having to run into a super center or grocery store,) so this concept makes it a lot easier to grab more things you may need without the hassle of a larger grocery store. They honestly have everything- from fresh meats and produce to canned and shelf stable foods, deli meats and cheeses... And even an international aisle! Granted, it's small, but it definitely lives up to its purpose. The aisles are wider in the normal section of the store, and it's surprisingly kept up very well. I was even stoked to find the new Milo's EXTRA sweet tea- and it was amazing! I'll definitely be back, (even if it's just for the tea!)

If you haven't been to either, bring a quarter because you will need it to unlock a shopping cart! They carry mostly "store brand" items, and only the necessities when it comes to name brand. They do have fresh meats and produce. Everything is very reasonably priced compared to the bigger grocery stores. Just don't come in here looking for specialty items, because you may not find what you're looking for. They do seem to have more of a selection than Aldi does! Especially the frozen section. Don't forget to bring your own bags!

While the Walgreens webside is "challenging" due to programming issues and the company has "supply issues", my brain abilities find it a game to help me with my needs. But, it is well worth playing this game between the weekly sales, store/mfg coupons, statewide % disc for certain $ amts purchased, and rewards $$ earned, I do quite well. The supply issue was part of the game today because several stores were short on at least one item; the program does the update in the recalculaation by store, not me, fortunately. Well, to close out this week's marathon, the Walgreen's store on Gunn and Anderson had all of my items and reported it "ready for pick-up" in under 10 minutes. I drove right out so I would miss today's anticipated storms and was greated by one of the most personable, professional staff I have met yet. They greeted me with smiles, welcoming comments, pulled the full card out for me, thanked me....all with those smiles!! I waved and told them they got the award for A1 service. Service is pretty hit or miss. At times, it will take awhile till clerk appears at a register, other times they are quick. Inconsistency earns them a 3.

I went and used the restrooms for the 1st time really don't like using them unless I absolutely need to and there was NO toilet paper or paper towels. The one stall (handicapped) had feces on the toilet seat, floor and toilet and of course no toilet paper or paper towels. 1 out of 4 stall's the only one that had toilet paper but was also unsanitary. This is the reason why I refuse to use public restrooms.

As with all Aldi locations, bring a quarter if you want a cart, and bring your own bags. Aldi is a great place for staples like organic milk, Greek yogurt, eggs, bronze cut pasta, and strawberries. My husband is addicted to their extra sharp New York cheddar. They also have interesting special deals that come out in limited quantities weekly, like spaetzle and schnitzel or salmon Wellington.
