As for the lines, they can be pretty long. But they do a really good job at making the lines move quickly. The prices are also very reasonable. Then my wife had to use the restroom, but they were both closed and out of order so there were no restrooms. Any of the guest could use. Won't bother being back, not worth the time. So many vendors buy from good will or any drift stores, don't even remove the tags. For example. Guy bought poor looking cups at $1.98 n tried to up price it at $20. I ell him he bought for $1.98 and they weren't even polished just heavy damaged. No price negotiations i left it. (Important notes: i know the value of metals in the current economy, the value of items n got a phone on hand to do research on the spot to come into a fair price. I do not support gaugers) A lot of products on the mud! Holy crap! It's crazy how much clothes n toys on the. Mud! Place is hella huge! Farmers side parking closes at 4pm, park on flea side. But i think u can just drive across. Since i like to end in good notes; Its huge!! One of the main reasons is simply the size -- it's one of the largest markets around and they have so many great things to offer. If you've spent any time around St. Pete, you've probably heard people mention this market -- it's kind of a local weekend staple. There's an incredible variety of vendors including food trucks, beverage stands, fresh produce, cheeses, breads, meats, and all kinds of locally made goods. You'll also find local artists and makers, along with vendors selling jewelry, clothing, hats, bags, plants, and other unique items. They usually have live music, which adds to the fun atmosphere while you walk around and explore the different booths. I don't make it out there as often as I'd like since it's a bit of a drive for me, but it's definitely one of my favorite markets in the area. If you're visiting or live nearby, it's absolutely worth checking out. Just try to get there early -- by noon it starts getting crowded, and with the Florida sun it can get hot quickly. Local places that grow ginger, mushrooms and truffles, vegetables, micro greens, hot hot peppers, cut flowers, exotic tropical fruits, and live plants. Seasonings, soups, candies, kettle corn, hot sauces, breads and pastries and pies, cheeses, honey, granola, and sea salt. Wood and metal crafts, candles, paintings and prints, jewelry, fragrances, and cosmetics. Chai tea, matcha and red teas, kombucha, fresh-roasted coffee, smoothies, juices, and local craft beer. Ready-to-eat tamales, empanadas, sausages, shawarma, Indian food, French crepes, Cuban food, and chicken salad. And i'm sure we missed some! We bought here and there, and then sat at an umbrellaed table among seating for maybe 100 in the middle of many food vendors, rockin' to live music by Dave G and the Music Mercenaries, and watching a few folks dancing. We drank chai tea and craft beer and drank from a fresh coconut. We ate fresh croissants and salad and hot beef sandwiches and burritos and, the most fun, Budapest spiral-cut potato "chips": a whole potato cut into one thin chip, fried and lightly seasoned, with dipping-ketchup on the side. And some luscious strawberry crepes and fresh made pastries, icing on the cake, so to speak. We had a blast! This full fun creative market runs weekly at least until Mar 21, 2026.

You just need to be discerning and don't have high hopes for nothing but glitz and glamor. We have purchased some fruits and vegetables, which we have not complaints about. We also have purchased some beautiful healthy plants at reasonable prices, as well as some "garage sale" type items that saved us from having to traverse neighborhoods looking for said type items. They do have vendors that sell miscellaneous "junk" and we have bought a few items from them as well. This may not be a place for the bougie, albeit we did see some booths with bougie (in our minds eyes) items for sale. Even though we have been here a few times I still don't think we have traversed the entire property. There is just so much and so many booths. We'll be back again. Your choice, based upon the totality of the reviews here, whether to spend a couple hours checking it out.

We stopped here twice this week as we were heading to the west coast and on the way back east. And pretty much what you'd need if you were cooking -- or bringing a gift. I especially liked the blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries. All the berries were gorgeously colored and looked like a photograph. The local strawberries were available by the half flat as well as the pint. We, however, fell in love with the beautiful beefsteak Ruskin tomatoes. On the way home, we got some red ripe ones (for salads and sandwiches) and some green ones (with which to make fried green tomatoes). We haven't had the green ones yet, but we sliced one large one as soon as we got home, added crispy bacon and mayo between two slices of white toast. Oh my. So delicious! Just what a tomato should really taste like. Now we regret not buying a few more... But we will know where to stop next time we are driving through town..,

This week I bought pickled onions from the kindest gentleman. And two small loafs of sourdough bread. Oh and I bought a dozen organic eggs from a sweet lady. I never know what I'll find here as some vendors come and go, but I sure appreciate so many showing up each time. The fresh market also has food vendors which is great if you go around lunch time. We showed up around 11am on an empty stomach and enjoyed a few treats and took home local aged cheddar, peach & habenero jelly, and a rum cake. The chicken & vegetable dumplings from the Thai food stand was our fave. Along with the $1 lumpia. Finally got to try a lobster roll made from Maine lobsters too. Pricey but it was bread stuff with fresh lobster. Highly recommend checking out the cheese lodge tent. She's 3rd generation cheese monger as she calls herself and ages her own cheese and she gave us a sample of a cheddar she had been aging and it was SO GOOD I took home a block. I can't wait to go back and buy the homemade fresh caught fish dip she raved about!
